The family of Alex Gray, the man charged with stalking popstar Lily Allen, have appeared on Good Morning Britain and offered their sympathy and apologies to the Not Fair singer.

Michelle Gray, Alex's mum, insisted she had no idea her son's mental health issues had escalated so dramatically, and explained that she was unaware he had had any contact with the famous mum-of-two.

"It's surreal and it doesn't feel like she's talking about my son until she mentions his name, just surreal," she told the show's hosts. "We had no idea he'd been stalking Lily Allen and putting her through these years of torture."

"We knew he had a fixation of her, but not that he'd been anywhere near her," she added when opening up about her 31-year-old son.

Alex, who reportedly tormented Lily for years before eventually breaking into her home, is currently in jail awaiting sentencing for burglary and harassment

Fearing for her brother's future, Alex's sister explained that her sibling will only get worse if his diagnosis does not receive the treatment it needs.

"He's not gonna get any help, he's just gonna get worse," she said before adding: "We're sorry it got this far, he should never had, it's horrendous what her and her family have gone through and we feel so horrible for it."

Lily has said she felt let down by the police during her ordeal.

When faced with Maisie Williams, who plays Ayra Stark in the hit HBO show, customers at a local hobby store in Santa Monica were forced to play along and pretend that the young woman in front of them wasn't a high-profile actress at all, but merely a store clerk named Lorraine.

Keen to get their hands on some GoT merch, these baffled fans helped Maisie recreate iconic scenes from the show…all the while trying to ignore the fact they were having an audience with one of the programme's biggest stars.

Seriously lads, our heads would have been melted.

Tributes have begun pouring in for much-loved WWE star, Chyna, following her untimely death yesterday.

According to her manager Anthony Anzaldo, the body of the 46-year-old wrestler and actress was discovered in her Redondo Beach home in California at approximately 3.25pm.

Issuing a statement to the press and public, the police said: "The Redondo Beach Police received a 911 call from a friend of the apartment unit resident that the female inside was not breathing."

"The friend told Redondo Beach Police that the female had not answered her phone in a few days, and went to the location to check on her welfare."

Chyna, who was born Joan Marie Laurer in 1970, shot to fame in the mid 1990s as part of the World Wrestling Entertainment phenomenon.

Massive congrats are in order today following the news that former Backstreet Boy, Nick Carter, has welcomed a baby boy into the life he shares with wife Lauren Kitt.

According to ET. the couple, who tied the knot in 2014, welcomed their first son yesterday and have named him Odin Reign.

Commenting on their chosen name prior to their son's arrival, Nick told press: "We can't say the name yet. I've been instructed by my wife to keep it under wraps, but we have a name. It's a very strong name."

After a 30-hour at-home water birth this week – Hats off to Lauren, right? – the  overjoyed couple have finally become a trio!

When you're one of the world's most well-known faces we assume nothing fazes you, but it looks like this isn't the case, at least not for Jennifer Aniston anyway!

Upon learning that she had been crowned World's Most Beautiful Woman for 2016 by People magazine this week, Jen admitted she struggled to take the big news in her stride.

The former Friends star is celebrated on the cover of the American publication today, but it sounds like she's still not quite used to the attention.

Commenting on the accolade, the 47-year-old star gushed: "I thought, ‘Oh my God'. There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment.”

A firm favourite with the American public ever since she pushed through Central Perk's doors in a soaking-wet wedding dress back in 1994, Jennifer admits that she needs to put more effort into certain parts of her life in recent years.

“It’s funny, it’s a really quick transition from, not a care, and now all of a sudden, we’ve got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies." she said. "And how we sleep and take care of ourselves. You can get away with a lot in your 20s." 

You can? We definitely haven't gotten that memo.

While the rest of the world was left reeling by Conor McGregor's big news last night, it seems Piers Morgan simply saw it as prime opportunity to take a swipe at the much-loved Dubliner.

Responding to the UFC World Champion's shocking tweet which announced his retirement last night, the Good Morning Britain host slammed the decision and tweeted a less than flattering shot of the fighter.

"You're going to QUIT as a LOSER?" the always-provocative Piers asked in a sarky tweet earlier today. "Seriously?"

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users wasted no time hitting back at the 51-year-old star, with one writing: "Piers, how many people have died presenting breakfast TV?"

Other Twitter users were quick to suggest that Piers was only weighing in on the debate for publicity, writing; "The 1st time I've ever seen you even post about MMA. Dont act like you know what you're talking about old toad."

"You are a complete idiot!" raged another. "Crawl back into your hole Morgan, don't comment on anything you know nothing about!"

We doubt Conor could care less what Piers thinks anyway…

Having revealed that she plans to lose weight on a doctor's recent advice, 24-year-old Scarlett quickly became the butt of a tabloid journalist's abysmal joke.

Responding to Scarlett's candid revelation that she may be at risk of diabetes, Kelvin McKenzie ofThe Sun wrote: "It appears Ms Moffatt has not only sat on the tuffet but eaten it as well."

"Ms Moffatt reveals that the doc also said her BMI was too high. He didn't have the courage to mention her BMB — Bloody Massive Bum."

Unsurprisingly, fans of the always-hilarious Scarlett quickly leaped to her defence, with one writing: "Getting kind of sick of old fat white men writing ignorant gross articles complaining about successful curvy women."

With the support of the public behind her, Scarlett responded to Kelvin's juvenile diss with real grace in a move which has made us love her all the more.
