‘We’re not in contact’: Brian makes Vogue split official with new inking
Theirs was possibly the most amicable celebrity split of recent times, but it seems we won’t be catching Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams in any affectionate shows of solidarity any time soon.
Appearing on Loose Women this week, Brian admitted that he and Vogue are no longer in touch.
Although Brian was on the show to discuss the topic of spoiling kids, talk soon turned to his relationship with his ex-wife.
“I’m not in contact with Vogue. Not anymore. I think before there may have been some unfinished business, but we have both now moved on,” he admitted.
And despite speculation that they might get back together, Brian has certainly made the split official – by inking over his wedding tattoo.
While Brian’s right wrist once bore the date of the couple’s nuptials, 2nd September 2012; this week he showed off a new tattoo of the Batman logo, covering it over.
Brian and Vogue were married for three years, and announced their separation last summer.
Sharing his views on break-ups, Brian admitted that he’s not one to let a relationship split get him down.
“I can switch straight off and pretend they don’t exist. I don’t want them to be dead – but what am I supposed to do? I’ve always been happy; then, if you are unhappy and you break up, you go with someone else and you’re happy again,” he said.
If only we could all master Brian’s romantic nonchalance!
