Louis Walsh was interviewed during the week and had a few nasty comments to make about Jedward.

The Mayo man was talking to Woman's Own magazine and was asked what was the most embarrassing moment of his career.

Louis replied: "Working with Jedward and putting them through on The X Factor.

"I'm definitely not in touch with them anymore," he added.

However, John and Edward were at the launch of the Diana Award Anti-Bullying campaign yesterday, and they told Goss.ie that they had "survived" bullying in the past from a certain "ex-manager."

"I think me and John out of anybody, we're like survivors from negative press or bullying or ex-managers," Edward said.

"We are always striving forward, he'll be in the old people's home soon so it's all good."

You're favourite set of Irish twins will be storming Limerick city as they get set to head Limerick's St. Patrick's festivities on March 17.

The hyperactive duo, who found fame on the X Factor, were very excited to accept an invitation from Limerick's city and county council to take part in the annual parade.

"Limerick is a beautiful city, which is full of history and I hope it becomes the European Capital of Culture in 2020," said Edward to the Mirror.

"I enjoy visiting Limerick because we can reconnect with our relatives and our heritage. It is an exciting, vibrant city with lots to see and do."

The pair actually have family ties to the county as their father hails from the city and played hurling with GAA club Na Piarsaigh. Their grandfather also played a large role in GAA in the area.

The parade is being coordinated by the local council and no expense is being spared as the city hopes it will help them in their bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2020.

An estimated 80,000 people are expected to line the streets of the city to enjoy the parade on the day and we reckon they can up their guesstimate with the addition of these two.

Bring on Thursday.

While you might be forgiven for thinking that Jedward have fallen off the face of the planet, the musical twins from Dublin are still very much active.

The pair have been out travelling around the world and being adored by some seriously dedicated fans.

But it seems that the pair want to give their followers a flavour of a more stripped back, subdued Jedward.

And so John Grimes, one half of the pair, posted this flawless cover of Justin Bieber's recent hit Love Yourself.

And we have to say, we really like it.

WHO knew they could play guitar:

Well, we didn't know if they would ever surface again, but Jedward are back… and it's actually for a pretty good reason.

The twins told The Irish Sun that their 'tour' will involve travelling to European airports and they actually won't be playing any music.

Instead, the boys are going to fly to multiple airports everyday and meet their fans at each stop.

John said, "We're not performing but instead we plan on defying the current fears about terrorism by reassuring our fans that everything will be OK."

Edward also added, "It's not about the money. It's about making a connection with cool people. People can take selfies with us. Whatever they want to do."

Now, we're not sure Jedward can solve World Peace, but what the guys are doing is pretty thoughtful, and we think more people should reach out like they are.

A 20-year-old student has reportedly spent more than €20,000 and deferred her college degree for two years… all in order to be Jedward's undisputed No.1 fan.

No really.

Catia Sousa, a University Of London student, has attended more than 400 of the Dublin duo's gigs and regularly spends lavish amounts so she can follow them around the world.

Indeed, just this year, Catia chased Jedward on their European tour, taking the same flights as them and staying in the same hotels.

"I am the only fan that has been to everything they've done this year. I went to 18 cities in 10 days with them in the summer," Catia told the Irish Sun.

Catia has been a fan since John and Edward Grimes shot to super stardom following their stint on the X Factor back in 2009. Since then she has spent all of her money, savings and even her student loan on attending concerts and meeting the Lucan boys.

Now THAT is dedication.

On one of her more decadent trips, Catia spent almost €2,000 on flights to LA to hand-deliver birthday gifts she had bought for the Messrs Grimes.

"It was the most spontaneous thing I've ever done. I had no idea where they were, other than that they were hanging around Hollywood and Beverly Hills."

It would seem that all her hard work has paid of because Catia has met the twins so many times that she now considers them to be her actual friends.

"When I see them it's just like seeing friends because I see them all the time. It's an amazing feeling when rather than making small talk like you're just another fan, your idols talk to you about memories you've shared together in the past.

"I think the reason I see them so much is because I can't get that feeling from anywhere or anyone else.”

Whatever floats your boat, Catia.

They’ve represented Ireland not once but twice at the Eurovision Song Contest: in both 2011 and 2012, when they finished eighth and 19th respectively.

But now Jedward are hoping it will be third-time lucky for their unique double act: they’re going for European glory once again next year.

And this time they want to perform on behalf of the UK.

With the BBC making a rule change which allows the public to nominate an entry – the 23-year-old Dublin twins reckon next year will be their year.

Indeed, during a chat with Mirror Online, Edward admitted it’s a “fantastic opportunity” for them.

Furthermore, the former X Factor contestants say they are currently in talks with TV producers to launch their own reality show, and revealed that they want to become a presenting partnership powerhouse like Ant and Dec.

We can’t wait!

Guess who's back!

Irish twins, and singing sensations no less, Jedward have finally made the epic comeback that we have all been waiting for.

The hashtag #LeaveAMark has been trending in the Irish Twitter universe in recent times and we are not surprised seeing as the duo’s latest musical release is certainly giving fans something to talk about

While before we had gotten used to the hyperactive pair leaping about like Energizer bunnies after a few too many cola bottles, their new  more relaxed approach was a big change.

Their recent release Oh Hell No, a track featured on the Sharknado 3 soundtrack was more familiar but their latest offering has certainly adopted a much more relaxed and mature vibe to it.

Fans of the Lucan natives are sure to be happy the boys are back on the scene and we imagine this is probably the first of many musical ventures they have in store for us.

They have certainly come a long way since their wacky performances on The X Factor, and the latest exciting news surrounding Jedward proves this perfectly.

While it’s been some time since we’ve had a record release from Ireland’s favourite twin brothers, it looks like they may be chasing success in another industry – modelling.

According to reports today, the Grimes brothers have been approached by none other than world-famous French designer Jean Paul Gaultier to model in one of his upcoming shows.

A report by The Irish Sun claims that the twins have been asked to strut their stuff on the catwalk at Gaultier’s Life Ball in Vienna on May 16th. The annual event typically draws a crowd of about 40,000, and will be a star-studded affair.

It certainly seems as though the boys will be in good company for their latest major modelling gig, with celebrities such as Charlize Theron and Mary J Blige already confirmed to be attending.

This is incredible news for the guys, and we wish them all the best of luck for their big moment. Own it, Jedward!

Jedward fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the twins have been rescued by helicopter after being stranded at sea.

The pair were obviously out enjoying the good weather in Malahide when they got caught on a sandbank in darkness. Luckily they had their phone with them so they rang their mother Susanna, who rang the Coast Guard. They were eventually saved by a rescue chopper.

The Coast Guard spokesman played down the situation, saying: “There was no immediate danger”. However, if we know Jedward – and we think we do – we bet they made a pretty big deal out of their stranded at sea experience!
