It's not often a celeb will cancel their OWN show, but it looks like Amy Schumer has done just that.

The comedian spent much of yesterday on Twitter, tweeting about the comments that a writer, Kurt Metzger, made about her Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer.

Kurt was called out after making some hurtful comments about rape victims, and Amy just wasn't taking it.

She wrote: "Kurt does not work for me. He is not a writer on my show. Please stop asking me about it. His words are not mine."

Of course, her fans were still in uproar and asked if Kurt got fired… But Amy's response was something nobody expected.

"I didn't fire Kurt. He isn't a writer for my show because we aren't making the show anymore. There are no writers for it."

Is this goodbye?

After years of campaigning by fans, the cancelled series Veronica Mars is coming back on our screens – our computer screens that is.

The new series is called Play it Again, Dick, and won’t be quite the same as before.

The show is coming back as a series of webisodes, and will be half Veronica Mars, half the campaign to bring back Veronica Mars. Creator Rob Thomas has described it as being like a crossover with his other show, Party Down, and is expected to have a mockumentary vibe.

All of the Veronica Mars cast have returned for the new series, and will be playing not only their usual characters but a warped comedic version of the selves.

Kirsten Bell will star as Veronica Mars (and Kirsten Bell), while Ryan Hanson will reprise his role as Dick Casablancas, and as Ryan Hanson trying to revive his career by having a Veronica Mars spinoff.

It seems a bit complicated so far, but we’re sure that it will be as clever and funny as the original series, if more meta.

The series wil air on CWSeed on September 15th.

Fans of Netflix hit Orange Is The New Black were sent into meltdown yesterday when Empire News published an article saying the show had been cancelled. However, what they hadn't realised was that Empire News is a satirical site – meaning it was all just one big joke.

Not a very funny joke, but a joke none the less.

Thankfully the show will be back for a third season, so we can all relax for now!

Little Mix fans have been left heartbroken after the girls cancelled the US leg of their Salute tour.

The foursome have announced that they will no longer be performing the planned 19 dates across America as they have decided to focus on their third album instead.

In a statement, they wrote, “As a group we decided that creating an amazing 3rd album had to take priority. We’re so sorry to all the Mixers who bought tickets to come and see the show. As soon as the album is finished, we promise to make plans to return to the US and perform for you all.”

Some fans took to Twitter to voice their shock, with one saying, “Was really looking forward to this! Doesn’t seem like a real excuse somehow.”

Another wrote, “I don’t buy it, there has to be another reason!”

We really hope there’s no drama unfolding behind the scenes for the Little Mix girls!

Garth Brooks’ officials have released a statement saying that if he can’t play all five nights in Ireland, then he won’t play any at all:

“I can’t thank the people of Ireland enough for how welcome they have made me feel. I have faith that Dublin City Council will make the best decision for the people of Ireland. For us, it is five shows or none at all. To choose which shows to do and which shows not to do, would be like asking to choose one child over another. However this plays out, Ireland has my heart and always will.”

No, Garth! How could you do this to us?

We really hope he’s bluffing!

If it’s any consolation, the National Consumer Agency have released a guide on how to get your money back if a concert is cancelled, but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that!

Well, it looks like September will be no craic at all this year, as Guinness have announced that they have cancelled Arthur’s Day.

They say they haven’t given in to the pressures to abandon the day because of the excessive drinking it encourages, instead going with the line that they just needed a change.

Sure, Guinness. We believe you. Though the good news is that they’ve started a new music promotion programme called Guinness Amplify which will support new bands. It’ll give bands the opportunity to perform in pubs over five weekends, beginning September 11-14 in Leinster and moving to Ulster (September 18-21), Connacht (25-28), Munster (October 2-5) and Dublin (October 9-12).

There’ll be workshops, studio days, surprise shows by major acts and the chance for new artists “to share a stage with some of the biggest names in music”.

What do you think? Will Guinness Amplify make up for the lack of Arthur’s Day?

There is disappointing news for Pippa Middleton this week after it was revealed her bi-weekly column in The Telegraph has been cancelled.

The column, ‘Court and Social’ was reportedly just not interesting enough to readers as she wrote about spinning classes, cooking pasta and perfect pancakes.

Pippa wrote the column for only six months, so the news will no doubt come as a disappointment to Kate’s little sister.

The 21-year-old Wrecking Ball star was hospitalised in Missouri on Tuesday after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics for a sinus infection.

She has had to cancel three concert dates on her Bangerz Tour this month due to illness and it appears likely she’ll have to strike a few more shows from the schedule.
