Angelina Jolie

Yesterday the Internet exploded upon learning that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from her partner of 12 years Brad Pitt.

And with early reports suggesting that Brad had been cheating on his wife and that Angelina had grown anxious of her spouse’s approach to parenting, the world quickly began to crave the answer to one other very important question: What does Jennifer Aniston think of this?

Sources close to the former Friends star have reportedly told Us Weekly that while Jen doesn’t wish anything bad on Brad, the news of his latest split has left her feeling a little “satisfied”.

The source alleged that the Mother’s Day actress said “Yeah, that’s karma for you” when discussing the news with a close friend.

And while the 46-year-old did believe that her ex-husband loved the Maleficent star, the source claims “she always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually”.

“She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with,” they continued.  “She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him.  He’s a pretty simple guy.”

Brad and Angelina have been together since 2004 after famously meeting on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

At the time, he was still married to Jennifer who the source says “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split”.

After the news of their divorce came out today, Brad Pitt has issued his own statement.

He told People: "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids.

"I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."

After two years of marriage and 12 years of being together, Angelina shocked the world as it came out she filed for divorce on September 15.

Meanwhile, Geyer Kosinski, Angie's longtime manager, told E! News: "Angelina will always do what's in the best interest of taking care of her family.

"She appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time."

With news breaking of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce, reputable US media outlets are now reporting that an on-set affair was the catalyst for the high-profile couple's split.

Page Six is currently claiming that the Oscar-winning actress felt compelled to dump her partner of 12-years when she learned he was cheating on her with a co-star.

Angelina, 41, and Brad, 53, famously met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith when the latter was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Page Six adds that a private investigator hired to monitor Mr Pitt while he filmed his latest movie in London confirmed Ms Jolie's worst fears

"She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw," a source has told the media outlet.

The Inglourious Basterds star has been rumoured for months to have grown increasingly close to his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard.

Mail Online furthermore reports that Angie had grown weary of her spouse's lifestyle and approach to parenting.

She is seeking full physical custody of their six kids, but is willing to grant him legal and visitation rights.

In news that has taken the showbiz and entertainment worlds by surprise, Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Brad Pitt.

The high-profile duo have been together since 2004 after famously meeting on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

At the time, Mr Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston.

TMZ has broken the story of their split, saying that legal documents have already been filed.

Angie and 52-year-old Brad have six children together – three of whom they have adopted. Ranging in age from 15 to eight, significantly Ms Jolie, 41, is looking for full custody of their offspring.

However, the Oscar-winner is willing to grant her estranged husband visitation and legal rights.

The couple – which were early in their relationship dubbed Brangelina – have not been seen together in some two months and rumour of the breakdown of their union has been abound for some time.

Jennifer Aniston, 47, is now married to 45-year-old fellow actor Justin Theroux, whom she wed last year.

Previously labelled as sinister folk not to be trusted, left-handed people these days are somewhat more celebrated.

That and, despite living in a world that is very much designed for their right-handed counterparts – they have some pretty high-profile compatriots.

Yup, from Barack Obama, to Prince William and Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates – if you're more inclined to use your left hand then you're certainly in good company.

Here, SHEmazing brings you the FIVE really great reasons why it's actually the best:

1) You earn more money (if you're a man):

According to studies, left-handed males who have gone to university earn 13 percent more than their right-handed counterparts.

Although oddly the results are quite different for women: they earn 5 percent less than women who are right-handed.

2) Half of all cats are left-handed:

Anything from 10 – 30 percent of humans are left-handed (depending on where you are in the world and what research you look at) – but not so for felines.

Yes, 50 percent of cats are left-pawed, according to studies.

3) You're a natural leader:

Five of the last seven US presidents – Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George HW Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Gerald Ford – are or were left-handed.

They're well-represented in royal circles too, examples include Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Prince William.

4) You have to overcome adversity:

From birth, you're being trained to think outside the standard right-handed box – something which helps you develop all sorts of skills that in turn encourages you navigate better the challenges of life.

Indeed, a combination of environmental forces and neurobiology combine to make lefties predisposed to be trailblazers.

5) You see better underwater:

Bizarre but true: when you’re underwater left-handed folk see better. It's not quite clear why this is so, scientists think it has something to do with a different part of the brain being dominant in left-handed individuals.

Angelina Jolie is a wonder woman. There is really nothing she can't do.

She's a mother, an Oscar-winning actress, a director, a filmmaker, a wife and a serious political activist – so it's safe to say many of us look up to her as a role model.

And if you're a big fan of her, then you could have her as a university professor.

The University of London's School of Economics has welcomed her on board as a visiting lecturer. YES.

The uni has a centre designed for women, peace and security, where Angelina is set to help out students who are in the middle of a Master's degree.

Ms Jolie said in a statement: “I am very encouraged by the creation of this master’s programme…

"I hope other academic institutions will follow this example, as it is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women’s rights and end impunity for crimes that  disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict.

"I am looking forward to teaching and to learn from the students as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.”

We might travel over to London just so we can wander into one of her lectures…

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just cemented their place as Hollywood's strongest couple.

The notoriously private pair gave a rare joint interview on the TODAY Show, speaking about their marriage, their latest film By The Sea and Angelina's health issues.

Having lost her mother to cancer in 2007, Angelina has taken every measure she can to ensure she stays healthy for as long as possible.

The actress underwent a double mastectomy in 2013, and in March of this year had her ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed, after a blood test revealed she had early signs of ovarian cancer.

Opening up about his wife's decision, Brad said it was a tough time for them both.

"I was out in France, and Angie called me and I got straight on a plane to return,'' he told host Tom Brokaw.

"Seeing my wife have to be her strongest and knowing that it's the scariest news is terribly moving. And not being there is a horrible feeling."

The actor couldn't hide his pride for his wife, praising the sacrifice she had made for her family – the couple's adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara, and biological children, Vivienne, Knox and Shiloh.

"There was no vanity to my wife's approach,'' he said.

"It was mature. 'This is our life and we're gonna make the best of it.' There was a strength in that.

"It was just another one of those things in life that makes you tighter, and she was doing it for the kids, and she was doing it for her family so we could be together."

As for Angelina, she said she knew she had her husband's support every step of the way.

"I knew through the surgeries that he was on my side and that this wasn't something where I was gonna feel less of a woman because my husband wasn't gonna let that happen.

"To face these issues together and speak about them and talk about what it is to be human, I think can be a beautiful thing."

While they might be considered one of Hollywood’s hottest couples, Angelina Jolie has admitted that her marriage to Brad Pitt is not all sunshine and rainbows.

Although, if you consider the adorable family photos, shot by Annie Leibovitz naturally, in Vogue then you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

The 40-year old actress and director posed for a gorgeous family photo shoot, and told the magazine that she and the actor have had  their 'issues' as she discussed their upcoming film together.

“It's not autobiographical,” she clarified when discussing By The Sea, which follows a couple who take a holiday to France together in a bid to save their crumbling marriage.

“Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn't have made the film,” she explained.

“As artists we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones. Just being raw actors. It's not the safest idea. But life is short.”

It certainly looks like the Jolie-Pitt clan are making the most of it.

The family are seen geared up for some quad bike action in one shot, with Angie sporting a look that is giving us major Tomb Raider vibes.

This marks the first time the stars will appear in a movie together since 2005, when they worked on Mr. & Mrs. Smith together.

Angelina also spoke to Vogue about having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in March, two years after a preventative double mastectomy.

She talked about how she’s looking forward to moving on to the next stage of her life with her family and added:

“I feel grounded as a woman. My mother and my grandmother started dying in their 40s. I’m 40. I can’t wait to hit 50 and know I made it.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie could be about to welcome a new addition to their ever-growing brood.

The couple are reportedly making plans to adopt a Syrian orphan, after Angelina made one of several visits to refugee camps in Turkey earlier this year.

As part of her work as a United Nations Special Envoy for Refugees, the actress travelled to the country to meet first hand with victims of the Syrian displacement crisis.

After meeting three young brothers who had been orphaned when their father was taken away by soldiers and their mother killed in a bombing incident, Angelina apparently made the decision to adopt again.

The Mr and Mrs Smith star, who has three adopted children and three biological children with her husband Brad Pitt, suggested adopting more than one orphan, but soon realised it was not a realistic plan.

"Angie wanted to adopt all three [Syrian brothers], but when she got back to the United States, and told Brad about it, he said no,' an insider tells RadarOnline.

"Going from six children to nine was just way too much, and Brad was concerned about how it would impact their other kids.

"Angie didn't put up a fight. She knew it just wouldn't work. But they compromised at adopting one."

As a result of her involvement with the UN, Angelina has made more than six visits to Syrian refugee camps.

Back in 2013, the actress urged the world's governments "to save a generation of traumatised, isolated and suffering Syrian children from catastrophe."

Now this certainly clears up a few things.

There are worse people to base your style on than the world's most stunning actress, we guess.

But we're not really surprised Caitlyn takes style inspiration from other places than her family, as they can all have many style disasters.

In the latest clip of Caitlyn's documentary, I Am Cait, the 65 year-old hires the help of stylist Jen Rade to get ready for the Espy Award back in July – and the only reason she hired Jen is because she is Angelina's stylist too.

"I just love her look, " admits Cait.

"Very casual, very elegant, chic."

In the scene where Jen meets Cait she is stunned by how impressive her wardrobe is.

"Oh my gosh, this is a great closet! Every one of these is so pretty," Jen said. "I was thinking I wanted to go shopping for you, but this is beautiful!"

In July, Caitlyn was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the sports ceremony, in which you will see in the next installment of I Am Cait.

A move across the water could be on the cards for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, with the news the couple have started house hunting in London.

The pair already have homes in France and California, but having just sold their sprawling $6.5m New Orleans mansion, they are ready to add to their property portfolio once again.

Brad and Ange reportedly checked out a $39m residence in London's Westminster, close to Buckingham Palace recently, but felt it was simply too much money to spend on a new home.

"It’s a huge investment. Neither of them wants to throw down that amount of cash," a source told Us Weekly.

However with Angelina apparently keen to "slowly immerse herself in EU politics," London could be the perfect family base, with Heathrow airport nearby and easy access to other EU cities.

The actress spoke last year of her desire to spend less time in front of (or behind) the camera and more time focusing on world politics and humanitarian efforts. As a UN Goodwill Ambassador, she made over 40 field visits to war and poverty stricken areas around the world, and in 2012 was named a Special Envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres.

"I've always gone wherever I felt I was needed," she told ITV News last year.

"When I started working with the UN, I felt I loved working in the field and I felt I was useful… and then there was a point where I realised that I was only so useful in the field because someone had to go to Washington and plea the case. So then I would do that," she continued. "I don't know what that means or where that will lead me."

We don't know either, but we're hoping London…
