When Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone got together back in 2012 during the filming of The Amazing Spiderman, our little hearts melted with happiness.

They were clearly the perfect couple – just look at them there, fighting back against the paparazzi together…

Taking part in hilarious photobombs…

And being generally adorbz…

Now though, it looks like Emma and Andrew's romance could be over, with reports they are going through a "rough patch" and have "drifted apart."

According to Hollywood Life, the beloved couple are taking some time away from one another to sort things out.

"They are taking some time apart…. They need to know if what they once had is worth saving… It’s an unspoken issue, but everybody knows they are on hold," a source told Star magazine.

Andrew's no-show at this year's Oscars and Golden Globes was apparently a telltale sign something was up, especially given the fact that Emma was nominated for awards at both.

"Yes, Andrew was filming but he could have gotten away if he really wanted to. The fact was, neither one of them wanted to plaster on a smile and pretend everything was OK when it wasn’t," said the source.

Before we all go into full panic mode though, it's important to note that these "anonymous" sources aren't always exactly reliable, so we'll be holding back the tears until we hear confirmation from the couple themselves.

We know it's not exactly best practice, but if we were sitting down to a cup of coffee and spotted two superstars sitting just a few feet away, we'd be frantically taking pictures too… even if we were left as red-faced as this fan was!

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have always made their disdain for paparazzi widely known, resorting to giving them the finger and even walking around with signs over their faces. Luckily they were a little sweeter to fan Alejandra Garibay when she tried to secretly snap a picture of the couple, who were sitting behind her sister while out for a meal at Lure Fishbar in New York.

Alejandra posted this picture to her Instagram account, showing the megastar couple pulling off the ultimate photobomb.

Amazing!

She captioned the picture, "Ok, so… either I caught a great moment between#AndrewGarfield & #EmmaStone or I clearly got caught and I am officially FIRED as a paparazzi… #oops"

We're glad to see Emma and Andrew were such good sports!

Emma and Andrew may be keeping tight lipped on those engagement rumours but at least they still know how to deal with the annoying paparazzi.

The couple were spotted eating breakfast in New York today, when they decided to use all of the attention they were getting for a good cause.

Both Emma and Andrew covered their faces with cards asking the media to give attention to youth charities instead of them.

Emma: “Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let’s try this again. We don’t need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do: —>”

This isn’t the first time the famous couple used paparazzi attention to help promote charities, as in September the couple asked the media to give attention to global charities as well.

Well that’s one way to handle annoying paps!

The actor stars as a transgender woman who finds herself being kicked around by men at a bar.

However, the video doesn’t dwell on the negetives for too long and soon Andrew’s character is showing off his very impressive dance moves.

The video is well worth a watch – we wonder if he wooed Emma Stone with those light feet!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Emma Stone, has insisted that she does eat, after receiving harsh online comments over her thin figure.

Online commentators believe that the actress has lost a lot of weight ever since she started dating her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield.

But the actress fought back the eating disorder claims insisting that she’s healthy and refuses to let the online comments bother her.

“I firmly believe that nothing really affects you or can really bother you if you don’t already feel that way about yourself. I’ve seen a lot of comments that say, ‘Eat a sandwich’ or ‘She looks sick,’”

The actress says that she has been looking at herself more in the mirror as result of some the comments but insists that she’s “not sick” and that she eats “sandwiches”.

But Emma says she’s not going to be harsh on her online critics as she knows what its like to feel insecure.

“They’re just confirming this feeling I have about myself. I’m trying to figure my body out. It bothers me because I care so much about young girls. We’re shaming each other and we’re shaming ourselves, and it sucks.”

The Amazing Spiderman 2 star, Andrew Garfield has admitted that he is actually quite comfortable with his own body, even when naked.

“I love being naked. It’s important to be naked and be in touch with our bodies and not have shame about what we’re made of. I love being in touch with nature and my own nature.”

This is probably a good thing, considering how revealing Andrew’s Spiderman costume, actually is.

It’s not the first time Garfield has been asked about his body. The Amazing Spiderman 2 star was also questioned about the appearance of his package for the film.

But Andrew said it was ok, as his on and off screen girlfriend, Emma Stone gave her nod of approval.

“You don’t want it to intimidate and you don’t want it to the opposite of intimidate. I had one focus group—and that focus group was Emma. She approved.”

Andrew Garfield is not one to discuss his private life it would appear!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star was attending the premiere for the upcoming movie when he was asked a question his girlfriend, Emma Stone, had previously just answered.

The actress was asked by a red carpet reporter what animal she would like to be if she was bitten like Peter Parker is in the Spider-Man movies.

Emma Stone answered: “I would probably want to be a bird.”

In an adorable coincidence, Emma’s boyfriend, Andrew, answered the same when he was posed the question!

When the reporter pointed this coincidence out to him however, he didn’t take it as well as expected!

Andrew said to the reporter, “Who’s my girlfriend? … You’re making an assumption about my personal life and my personal life is not public property.”

Ouch!

What a pity he took it all up the wrong way because we think it is so cute that they gave the same answer!

We already know how big a Spice Girls fan Emma Stone is, thanks to her adorable reaction after receiving a message from  her pop idol, Mel B.

But The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star got another opportunity to speak to a Spice Girl this week, Mel C.

Emma Stone along with her on and off screen boyfriend, Andrew Garfield were at a London radio station yesterday, to promote the new Spider-man flick.

Stone’s love of the girl band was brought up by the radio hosts and as a result the actress was challenged to a Spice Girls’ sing off.

Little did she know, that they had Sporty Spice listening the whole time to her performance and of course, the 25-year-old’s reaction is priceless.

Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx and Emma Stone were all on Ellen to promote their latest flick, The Amazing Spiderman 2.

Of course, Ellen DeGenres came up with the genius idea of getting the three stars to play a game of Never Have I Ever, with some surprising results.

Thanks to the game we discovered that Andrew and Jamie have both had one night stands, while Emma has had none. The stars seemed a little confused when it came to sexting though.

It would seem that Andrew Garfield was no exception to this thinking!

He was asked by Australia’s The Project, just how he ensures his package looks good in his superhero costume.

They do fit like a glove after all.

Andrew said about the issue: “It takes a lot of consideration because you don’t want it to be overwhelming and also you don’t want it to be underwhelming.”

The actor also admitted that his girlfriend Emma Stone had the last say on the appearance of Spidey’s package: “I had one focus grou and that focus group was Emma. She approved.”

Even though Andrew Garfield is known for playing superhero Spiderman, the Hollywood star proved he is a hero off-screen as well.

While Garfield was out promoting “The Amazing Spiderman 2” in Sydney, Australia the actor made some time to volunteer with Hunter Connect, at an event teaching children with autism to surf.

Garfield helped one young boy surf and cheered him on when he rode the waves on a Spider-Man surfboard.

The actor also signed autographs and posed for photos with fans, as well as catching a few waves himself.
