Remember when Justin Timberlake was a film actor?

Those were fun times, yes? He certainly seemed to enjoy himself when was bringing sexy back to cinema screens around the globe. After a two year absence we were all starting to miss his presence.

Well, good news. Justin is going to be returning to the big screen!

However, this time it won’t be as an actual actor. This time he’s taking on a role in which he has plenty of experience. The former boyband member and Mickey Mouse club kid is planning to bring his concerts to a cinema screen near you.

Jonathan Demme told Entertainment Weekly that earlier in the year Justin asked him to film the last date on his 20/20 Experience concert tour.

Jonathon has previously directed The Silence of the Lambs and commented that Justin is a “funky Fred Astaire.” If you’re not a horror fan than there’s no need to worry because he also pointed out that there is “tremendous dancing in this piece.”

The footage which Jonathon recorded is planned to be made into a concert film. While as of yet there is no title attached to the project, he has described it as a “space age music film.”

Should we have our 3D glasses at the ready then?

Jonathon has also worked on the Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense, which one could most certainly describe as a space age type piece.

This should make for some very interesting viewing then. Best have your finest suit and tie ready for that premiere.
