“I’ve felt better! Hello 2017!!” Louis Tomlinson welcomes the New Year
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson welcomed the New Year with a hangover selfie posted to Instagram on Sunday.
Staring into the camera looking a little worse for wear, Tomlinson captioned the snap, “I’ve felt better! Hello 2017!!”
The 25-year-old suffered the loss of his mother Johannah Deakin (43) in December. Following a battle with leukemia, Deakin died aged 43.
At the time the family said, “It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah Deakin’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday, Dec. 7.”
“Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private.”
Following her death, Louis went ahead with a pre-scheduled appearance on the X-Factor, which he dedicated to his mother.
