Gal time! 5 UNIQUE ideas for bonding with your besties
Getting the girls together generally means one thing: craic central.
And OK, while we love our brunch dates and nights out, there are times when we just fancy something a little different.
So because we’re sound like that, we’ve compiled a list of ways to re-bond with your girls. And now we want to do EVERYTHING:
1. Plan a trip somewhere different

We all love the Paris (it’s true what they say: it’s never a bad idea), but a brilliant opportunity to bond with your gals is to pick somewhere off the beaten track for your next city break or holibob. So whether it’s a lakeside village in Slovenia, or a little known Finnish city with a population of 473, stick a pin in the map and start your adventure.
2. Volunteer together

Getting involved with an important cause is not only a selfless thing to do, it’s a great way to bond with your besties. And look, it doesn’t have to be a far flung location; there are heaps of charities in your local community that would love you and your pals to get involved – whether it’s giving your time, your skills, or organising a fundraising event. It’s actually quite fun to sell stuff together for charity e.g. fundraising products such as a Scratch & Help card can actually lead to a bit of craic with your bestie.
3. Set a fitness goal

Whether it’s your very first 5K, or that half-marathon goal you’ve been dying to smash, doing it with your girls will make it more fun. Oh, and cheering each other on / not accepting any lame ‘I’m too tired to train’ excuses means you’ll be much more likely to succeed.
4. Do afternoon tea – but with a difference

It’s fair to see we all are a bit obsessed with afternoon tea, but how about hiking to the top of a mountain and enjoying your jammy scones and bubbles with an unreal view? The Hazel House, in Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin, is located at the bottom of Tibradden Mountain, so you can get your fizzy afternoon tea packed to bring with you to the top.
5. Go glamping

Glamping is pretty much what is says on the tin – glamorous camping. So you’re basically staying in a luxurious, chic yurt instead of something like that rickety yoke of a caravan in Father Ted. There are heaps of great glamping options all over the country, so get your Joan Collins on and camp in style!
And for more bonding ideas, check out the rest of The Hazel House’s activities, like pizza and wine evenings and girly movie nights. Yay!
