If you’re a fan of Sarah Lancashire, then we have some great news for you!

Streaming giant Netflix has confirmed that the Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax star will be returning to our screens very soon.

Earlier today, it was announced that Sarah has joined the cast of Black Doves, a “sharp, action-filled” spy thriller set at Christmas.

Alongside Sarah’s casting, This is Going to Hurt actor Ben Whishaw was also confirmed as part of the series lineup.

Sarah and Ben have joined Love Actually actress Keira Knightley, who was previously revealed as the lead role in Black Doves, as well as an executive producer on the series.

According to Netflix, Black Doves “follows Helen Webb (Keira Knightley), a quick-witted, down to earth, dedicated wife and mother — and professional spy. For 10 years, she’s been passing on her politician husband’s secrets to the shadowy organisation she works for: the Black Doves. When her secret lover Jason (Andrew Koji) is assassinated, her spymaster, the enigmatic Reed (Sarah Lancashire) calls in Helen’s old friend to keep her safe.”

“Sam Young (Ben Whishaw) is a suave, Champagne-drinking assassin. But having been out of the game since a failed job with disastrous consequences, he’s come home to a London that has moved on without him. As his past threatens to catch up with him, his task is to protect Helen as she investigates who killed Jason and why," Netflix continues.

"Together, they set off on a mission that will lead them to uncover a vast, interconnected conspiracy. One that links the murky underworld of London to a looming geopolitical crisis – and leads them to question the cost of the moral choices they’ve made,” Netflix concludes.

Created by Giri/Haji and The Lazarus Project writer Joe Barton, the six part series began filming in central London last week.

While a release date for Black Doves has not yet been announced, fans are hoping that it will premiere on Netflix at some point next year.

Dancing With The Stars has shared an emotional tribute for late judge Len Goodman.

Len tragically passed away at the age of 78 in April of this year following a battle with bone cancer.

Len only retired from judging DWTS in November of last year after appearing on the show for 17 years.

During last night’s episode of the American dance competition, the professional dancers honoured Goodman by sharing heartfelt messages about him before they performed a dance.

Host Alfonso Ribeiro spoke directly to the camera as he explained, “Last fall, we were all taken by surprise when our head judge Len Goodman announced his retirement. Just a few months later, we were shocked and saddened by the news of his passing”.

“Since Len will always be at the heart of this show, our pros created a special performance in his honour. First, here are their memories of Len”.

The footage then showed multiple professional dancers including Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Julianne Hough, Kym Johnson-Herjavec and Val Chmerkovskiy, reminiscing on their time with Len over the years.

A group of Dancing With The Stars pros then showcased a Waltz set to the song Moon River.

At the end of the moving routine, the dancers pointed towards the empty seat where Len used to sit on the judging panel, which had been illuminated.

An audio clip of Len’s voice then played as he said, “All good things must come to an end”.

Goodman’s former DWTS and Strictly Come Dancing co-judge Bruno Tonioli could be seen being moved to tears by the tribute.

Dancing With The Stars previously paid tribute to their late head judge by renaming the winner’s trophy to The Len Goodman Glitterball Trophy.

After the heartbreaking news of Len’s passing had been announced, the show shared a tear-jerking message that reads, “Len Goodman will always be an icon in the world of ballroom dance, and we were lucky to have him as part of our ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family for 31 seasons”.

“He was warm and caring, and always delivered genuine guidance. We are devastated by the news of his passing and our hearts are with his family during this very difficult time”.

Olivia Bowen has shared that she recently struggled with postnatal depression.

The former Love Island star, who met her husband Alex Bowen on the hit ITV show back in 2016, became a mother for the first time last year.

On June 10, Olivia and Alex welcomed their baby son Abel into the world. At the time, the new mum confirmed that she had been preparing for a C-section, but she ended up giving birth with the help of forceps during 30 hours of labour.

However, despite loving life as a mum-of-one, Olivia has now admitted that she has struggled in the months after Abel's birth.

In an interview with OK!, the 29-year-old recalled the difficult emotions that she has recently been experiencing.

"I've had quite a hard time in the last 3 or 4 months. I think I did actually suffer from postnatal depression and it turned into bad anxiety. So, I ended up back in therapy a couple of months ago,” she confessed.

Olivia, who tied the knot with Alex in September 2018 and announced her pregnancy on January 1 last year, then went on to reveal that openly speaking about her experience has greatly helped her.

"It was quite a hard time and I feel like I’m finally coming out the other side of it now, I’ve finally asked for help and accepted the way I feel. It’s been really nice to get validation from a therapist and talk it through to dismantle little things that have happened to me,” she explained.

In her final thoughts, the former Love Island runner-up pleaded with any struggling mums to ask for support.

"I definitely feel like I’m in a better place now and I recommend to any mum, reach out and ask for help, it isn’t normal to feel super, super down. If you’re really struggling then you need to ask for help,” Olivia concluded.

Hailey Bieber has opened up about rumours that are circulating about her online.

Last summer, many of the model’s fans started speculating that she may be pregnant, but at the time, Hailey didn’t address the gossip.

Now, the 26-year-old has decided to shut down these rumours, which she has described as ‘disheartening’, while also sharing her thoughts on raising children with her husband Justin Bieber.

In an interview with GQ Hype, Hailey explained, “Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s pregnant’, and that’s happened to me multiple times before”.

“There is something that’s disheartening about, damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I don’t give a sh*t’”.

“When there comes a day that that is true, you, you, as in the internet, will be the last to know”.

Previously, Hailey spoke about wanting to raise her family out of the spotlight but has now revealed that it’s “probably totally unavoidable. That was before I was married. Didn’t know who I was going to be married to at the time, I’m sure”.

“Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18”.

The Rhode founder continued, “It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet. And that’s not the same thing, by any means”.

Bieber went on to discuss motherhood, describing it as “something that I look forward to. It’s also such a private, intimate thing”.

“It’s something that’s going to come when it comes. And it’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people f***ing care”.

Hailey went on to add, “Let me do what I want to do with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body- and let’s just let it be that”.

Hailey and Justin have been married since September 2018 after they secretly tied the knot in a courthouse in New York.

Halloween is right around the corner and if you don’t have your costume sorted, you better get looking now!

There are so many different styles of outfits to choose from, whether you want to dress up really scary, a little bit sexy or as your favourite movie character. But, our favourite Halloween costumes are trendy looks that you can do with your significant other or bestie.

So, if you’re looking for couples costume ideas before Halloween rolls around, have a look at our trending ideas below and prepare to win ‘best dressed’ at any event you go to.

Barbie & Ken

After the release of the hit movie during the summer, it's no surprise Barbie and Ken are at the top of our list! There are so many options to dress up as with this iconic duo, from Cowboy Barbie and Ken, to Rollerblading Barbie and Ken.

Barbenheimer

Speaking of Barbie, we can't forget the huge blockbuster Oppenheimer that was released on the very same day back in July. A hilarious couples costume would be for your other half to dress in a black suit and hat, while you look pretty in pink to represent the two biggest movies of the year.

David Beckham & Posh Spice

Following the release of David Beckham's docuseries on Netlix, we think it's a great idea to dress up as this iconic couple. There's so many different looks to choose from, but we think it'd be a great look for your partner to dress up as David from his time at Manchester United while you opt for a Posh Spice LBD.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce

A huge couple in the news right now is Taylor and Travis and if you're a Swiftie, you should dress up in one of Tay Tay's showstopping tour outfits while your beau dons an American football jersey. Bonus points if you add '87' to the back!

Anthony Bridgerton & Kate Sharma

While we wait for the highly-anticipated third season of Bridgerton, you and your other half can live out your Princess and Prince dreams on Halloween night by dressing up in your glad rags as our favourite couple from season two.

Baby & Johnny from Dirty Dancing

A classic every Halloween but it never gets old! Just be careful if you try to do the infamous lift.

Justin & Hailey Bieber

If you keep up to date with trending pop culture, you know how wild the internet went when pictures of Hailey and Justin Bieber were released from the launch of her Strawberry Glazed Rhode lip treatment at Krispy Kreme! With you in a gorgeous red mini dress and your partner in a grey tracksuit, pink hat and yellow Crocs, you'll definitely turn some heads at your Halloween Party.

Emily & Victor from Corpse Bride

Tim Burton is the king of all things eery and we think Emily and Victor are the perfect Halloween characters to dress up as this year.

Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker

The It couple right now as they await the birth of their baby boy. Known for wearing black and leather most of the time, this costume would be super easy to DIY at home. If you want a more iconic look, their Met Gala outfits were stunning and also possible to DIY with clothes you already own. Any pregnant mums could make a 'Travis, I'm pregnant' sign and wear mesh to recreated Kourt's pregnancy announcement.

Alice & Jasper from Twilight

If you don't binge watch the entire Twilight series every Halloween, you're doing it wrong. Rather than opting for the classic Bella and Edward or Jacob costumes, we think Alice and Jasper's baseball looks would be so unique to dress up as instead.

Mario & Luigi

After The Suoer Mario Bros. Movie was released earlier this year, why not dress up as the plumbers with your partner or bestie for a funny twist to you Halloween costume!

'Samhain Night Between The Years' weaves together the rich tapestry of Samhain lore, the essence of nature, the echoes of ancestry, and the imminent darkness.

The theme of wild nature, divilment, and merrymaking will captivate spectators, beginning with end of harvest festivities, music, and revelry in celebration of the end of season. As light turns to darkness and the veil thins, so too will the visions of otherworldly, shape-shifting spirits on their journey through the original home of Halloween. A traditional Irish music score will bring the procession to life, featuring the supreme talents of local Meath musicians playing along live, including musicians, sean-nós singers, ancient horns and a chorus of singers walking with the wild; the Púca otherworldly portal of wild trad musicians and primal dancers.

Organisers are inviting spectators to come dressed in a disguise of nature foraged locally, and to bring along a hag stone (a stone with naturally occurring holes, to view mystical creatures), to safely see who is Púca and who is not.

Following this spellbinding procession, the celebration continues at Trim Castle, where the ever-popular Pyro Collective will light up the night with a breathtaking fire display.

Closing ceremony: ‘An Lasadh Suas’, Athboy (Tuesday, 31st October 2023)

The festival is proud to present a celebration of Irish heritage with an intimate fire lighting ceremony at Tlachtga (Hill of Ward), Athboy, County Meath on October 31st  paying tribute to traditional Samhain rituals, followed by a procession to the festival’s finale, a spectacular fire and musical celebration at the Fair Green in Athboy. The closing ceremony will include performances from Sibéal Ní Chasaide and Kíla, as well as a Morrigan (ancient Irish goddess of war) inspired fire performance alongside the rhythmic beat of the Hit Machine drummers.

Athboy is an important hub of Halloween tradition, with ancient manuscripts telling us that Tlachtga (pronounced Clackda) or The Hill of Ward was a site of great Samhain gathering. As the sun sets and the ceremonial fire is lit at Tlachtga on Halloween night, festival goers will gather at the Fair Green in Athboy. The flame procession, led by a specially invited master of ceremonies, will carry the honorary Tlachtga flame, the fire to light us up through the dark season ahead.

Here begins ‘An Lasadh Suas’, (pronounced ‘on losa suis’ meaning ‘To Light Up’) a symbolic event to set the Púca flames alight. The newly created ‘Lasadh Suas’ sculpture, laden with messages to our ancestors, will be surrounded by fire sculptures, each one representing the connecting landscapes of Tara, Loughcrew, Tailteann, and Uisneach.

Each of the connecting landscape fire signs will be lit one by one, with stories from each landscape to share. Finally, ‘An Lasadh Suas’ is lit, as a symbol of ancestral connection, a celebration of bountiful harvest and providing symbolic light to guide us through the winter. With the Púca flame lit and the stage set, the music and revelry ensue. The central flame of Samhain is like a pebble in a pond, rippling and pulsing divilment around the globe, calling all Irish diaspora and friends to come play – Ar aghaidh linn (let’s get going)!

Púca Festival was devised to encourage more international visitors to visit Ireland during October and November, and to encourage domestic visitors to explore different regions of Ireland.

Adam Collard has been opening up about his new relationship with Laura Woods!

Last month, the former Love Island bombshell’s relationship with the sports TV presenter was exposed after Laura accidentally shared some loved-up snaps of themselves on Instagram.

Now, a few weeks on from their romance being confirmed, Adam has chosen to open up about how it all started.

Credit: Laura Woods Instagram

In an interview with The Sun, the 27-year-old detailed that he initially reached out to 36-year-old Laura.

"The first time we met – I’ll hold my hands up – I did DM her first and got a reply but then nothing ever happened. Then she called us out for basically leaving her on read,” he laughed.

“Eventually we met up, and then went on a very undercover date, and obviously what comes out in the press, comes out in the press, but it’s not always the full story,” he insisted.

Adam then went on to confess that he is “glad in a way” that their relationship is public, stating: “I feel like there’s an element of having to hide too much now."

After admitting that their romance is “serious” and that he doesn’t want to “jinx it", the reality star continued by revealing how he feels.

"I would never get in a relationship with someone at least at one point [unless] I thought they were The One,” he shared.

Adam then went on to explain why his brief romance with Lottie Moss did not work out. The pair were linked earlier this year after appearing on Celebs Go Dating together.

"It’s one of those things, there was an element of real there, and there was an element of we had a really good excuse of seeing each other,” he noted, adding that they “haven’t really spoken” since filming.

"I am still human and she is still human, and I would like to hope that if I saw her in person, we could give each other the benefit of the doubt and we’d be OK,” he concluded.

“I am always looking for the positive flip after everything sad in my life. But in this moment I remember wanting and needing to just sit in my sadness, and be with it. It’s important we allow ourselves to feel what we need to in moments in our lives that call for us to be vulnerable,” Jessie explained.

“The joy will come back but don’t rush your journey of grief. It’s such a personal journey to navigate and process,” she concluded.
