Vicky Pattison has been opening up about her battle with PMDD. 

The former Geordie Shore star was diagnosed with PMDD, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, earlier this year and is now spreading awareness about the disorder. 

Describing her experience with PMDD as a ‘constant cycle’ Vicky has revealed the symptoms she has gone through.

The 35-year-old has also admitted to feeling ‘embarrassed and weak’ when describing her experience to a doctor who dismissed her feelings. 

While chatting on Good Morning Britain, Vicky explained, “When I went and explained what was wrong, and was told, ‘It’s just PMS, every other woman in the world is going through it, they're just not making as much of a fuss as you’, I felt embarrassed”.

“And I felt weak that they were able to cope, all these other brilliant, shiny, strong women and I couldn’t”.

Vicky then revealed how she’d describe the disorder, saying, “Honestly, the best way I've ever heard it described is that PMDD is like building a sand castle of good habits, great relationships, positive habits, going for morning runs, drinking your green juice, giving birth to an avocado, whatever it is”.

“And then every month, a wave comes and takes away all those things and leaves only hopelessness and despair, and just as you’re rebuilding your castle again, that wave crashes again”.

The podcast host went on to share the many symptoms she’s experienced while battling PMDD. 

“It's this constant cycle. For me, I’ve experienced- although some people can have different symptoms- It was despair, hopelessness, overwhelm, chronic fatigue, crippling anxiety, and – in some darker moments, suicidal thoughts”.

Pattison shared an insight into getting her PMDD diagnosis in August on social media by posting a collection of photos from before her diagnosis and saying, “This week I decided enough was enough and went private & told myself I wouldn't be dismissed”.

"When the doctor said to me ‘it sounds like you have PMDD..’, I cried. I cried because I felt f***ing heard in a medical setting for the first time in years and also I cried because hopefully now I can start trying to manage this rather than just ‘get on with it’- like I feel like women are expected to”.

It seems congratulations are in order for Sara Pascoe as she has welcomed her second child into the world.

Fans of The Great British Sewing Bee host have shared their excitement as the wonderful news of her second child’s birth has been revealed. 

The tot’s birth was announced on the official The Great British Sewing Bee’s Twitter account while they were sharing the identity of the show’s new host for the Christmas Special. 

Sharing a snap of the new host, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, smiling alongside judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young, they wrote, “We're bursting at the seams that Kiell Smith-Bynoe has stepped in to host this year’s Christmas Special and Series 10”.

“Sending lots of love to Sara and her new baby!”, they added.

Many fans of Sara’s rushed to the comments to share their delight over the news.

Sara is yet to confirm the gender or name of her second child.

The comedian revealed, “Here we go again. Eating for two and drinking for no one”, with a photo of her and her husband smiling from ear to ear with her blossoming baby bump on display.

Sara and Steen tied the knot in 2020 and are already proud parents to a son, who they welcomed into the world in February 2022, following IVF treatment.

Congratulations again to Sara and Steen as they embark on this new chapter of their lives as a family-of-four.

Officials have expressed concerns after it has been confirmed that the number of deaths on our roads this year has already equalled 2022’s figures.

Throughout last year, 155 people lost their lives on Irish roads. Now, with two months of this year still to go, Gardaí have shared the upsetting news that the 155th road death of 2023 has taken place in County Sligo.

In a statement, Gardaí announced the death of a man in his 50s, who was travelling on an e-scooter when he was struck by a van.

The crash occurred at around 8.10pm yesterday evening in the townland of Rusheen, outside Riverstown. The driver of the van, a man in his 30s, sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment in Sligo University Hospital. Sadly, the driver of the e-scooter was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The rise in road deaths this year has sparked immense concern, especially as the 155 fatalities in 2022 were already a rise of 13%, compared to figures in 2021.

Additionally, when this year’s 155 road deaths are compared to this time last year, the number of fatalities have already increased by 30% in 2023, with 118 people having lost their lives by October 2022.

With November and December considered to be the busiest time periods for road travel, Gardaí and other road safety officials are concerned that more road deaths will occur.

Speaking about the issue, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar admitted that it is something that he is “very concerned about”.

"What we are seeing this year is not just a setback – it is a pretty enormous increase in the number of road deaths. It is something we are taking very seriously and I would encourage people to be safe on the roads,” he added.

Garda Assistant Commissioner Paula Hilman also noted: "Any road death is one too many and we will continue to work together with our partners in road safety to reduce road deaths.”

Kyle Richards has spoken out about her separation from her husband Mauricio Umansky.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars revealed they were separating but not divorcing when they issued a joint social media statement back in July. 

As the pair continue to work through their separation, Kyle has been discussing how their relationship is now and what their living arrangements are. 

Describing the aftermath of her and Mauricio’s separation as ‘devastating’ for their family, Kyle opened up while chatting on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Revealing who the ‘driving force’ behind the separation was, Richards admitted, “It originated from me, I’ll say”.

“When the news first came out, it was really, really devastating for the whole family. Our phones were blowing up, my kids were just crying, wouldn’t leave the house, it was really, really difficult”.

“Now they’re much better and really strong and they’re just so together and so smart and they’ve been my best, best, best friends and I could not be more proud of them. They’re just amazing human beings and thank God I have them through this”.

When asked if she and Mauricio are still living under the same roof, Kyle revealed, “We are, yes, in a different room”.

“I let him stay in the primary bedroom because it’s very masculine and the upstairs floor is like the ‘glam’ area and there’s a bed so I was like, ‘You know what? What am I going to do, put him in a room with flowers and pink and velvet?’”.

Mauricio also recently spoke about his separation from Kyle, explaining that they’re ‘not throwing in the towel’ on their marriage. 

He admitted, “We’ve been married for 27 years. We’re having a bit of a rough patch”.

The 53-year-old went on to say that “sometimes life throws you different things”, and “you’ve gotta work through it.” 

“She and I currently are separated, but we are not throwing in the towel. We’re not just saying that to say that. We actually are not yet throwing in the towel”.

The reality stars share three daughters together- 27-year-old Alexia, 23-year-old Sophia and 15-year-old Portia. Mauricio is also step-dad to Kyle’s eldest daughter, 34-year-old Farrah, whom she had with her ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.

Kris Jenner has opened up about the reasons why she chose to cheat on Robert Kardashian Sr.

The Kardashians star was married to lawyer Robert from July 1978 to March 1991, and the pair welcomed four children together – Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Robert Jr.

However, in 1990, Kris met and subsequently had an affair with Caitlyn Jenner, who later came out as transgender in 2015.

Kris and Caitlyn tied the knot in April 1991, and went on to welcome daughters Kendall and Kylie together, before announcing their separation in 2013.

Now, decades on from her whirlwind affair with Caitlyn, the mum-of-six has now chosen to detail the events surrounding the scandal.

In this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Kris engaged in a conversation with Khloé surrounding her ex Tristan Thompson, who has also cheated on her numerous times. During the scene, mum-of-two Khloé asked Kris about her “mindset” when she cheated.

"Being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions,” Kris responded. 

39-year-old Khloé then went on to ask: "But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?" 

Kris later confessed: "I don't know because he was such a great husband and such a great dad, and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That’s my life’s biggest regret.”

At the end of her admission, the 67-year-old then stated that she is still grateful that her affair led her to welcoming her youngest daughters.

"I'm not proud of the way I behaved during that time, but you know what? Everything happens for a reason. I really do live my life by thinking God has a plan, and without that whole thing happening, there never would’ve been Kendall and Kylie,” she explained.

Charlotte Crosby has penned a heartwarming tribute for her boyfriend Jake Ankers for a very special reason. 

Charlotte and Jake, who have been an item since 2021, share a one-year-old daughter named Alba together. 

The former Geordie Shore star is now celebrating a special occasion with Jake- his birthday!

As Ankers gets another year older, Charlotte has treated him to a moving tribute on social media. 

Charlotte took to Instagram to post the emotional message to her 8.8M followers. 

The 33-year-old posted a black and white video and photo of Jake as they enjoy a day away together.

Crosby wrote, “Let the birthday night commence for my partner in crime, my soul mate and love of my life”.

Charlotte and Jake recently celebrated another special birthday as their baby girl turned one year old. 

The proud parents unveiled special messages about how much their lives have changed for the better since having Alba. 

Charlotte said, “1 year ago today me and @jake_ankers experienced the best day of our entire life and every day after that has been absolutely magical”.

Jake sweetly added, “I cant believe your 1 year old my little cherub!!! Me and your mammy love you so very much and we are so thankful we have you in our lives you have changed our world for the better”.

Crosby and Ankers originally met back in 2015 on New Year’s Eve but only reconnected years later through social media.

A new famous face has joined the line-up for the upcoming season of Dancing on Ice. 

An Olympic athlete will now be competing in the show after Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb had to withdraw from the competition. 

Unfortunately, Stephen broke his ankle during training last week, resulting in him needing crutches and having to pull out of the skating programme. 

Dancing on Ice has now confirmed that Stephen’s replacement is Olympic ski jumper Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards. 

Opening up about appearing on the show, Eddie revealed, “It's bittersweet as whilst I'm delighted to be taking part in the new series I'm gutted for Stephen and wish him a speedy recovery”.

“Dancing on Ice is a show I've always wanted to do. It's a challenge I think I'm going to relish”, he added. 

Stephen took to Instagram last night to share an insight into his injury, admitting that he’s ‘gutted’ to have to leave the competition. 

The Gogglebox star shared a snap of him sitting on his couch, surrounded by his dogs, with his leg in a cast. 

He penned, “Thank you for all of your kind words and messages. On Wednesday last week during my training session for Dancing on Ice I fell and broke my left ankle”.

“I’ve had surgery and will be on crutches for a few months meaning, I’ve had to leave the competition which I’m absolutely gutted about. I was having so much fun and enjoying learning to skate”.

Stephen closed off by saying, “I will of course be keeping a close eye on all of the other celebs and pros and supporting them all the way. Unfortunately, I will also have to pull out of the London Marathon. I’m doing my best to keep my spirits up and will hopefully be back on my feet again very soon”.

Eddie the Eagle will be competing against boxer Ricky Hatton, S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt, Brookside star Claire Sweeney, Love Island’s Amber Davies and Olympic champion Greg Rutherford.

Also taking part is EastEnders actor Ricky Norwood, radio presenter Adele Roberts, Made in Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, Emmerdale actress Roxy Shahidi, comedian Lou Sanders and Coronation Street's Ryan Thomas.

Anton Du Beke has given his opinion on Amanda Abbington’s exit from Strictly Come Dancing!

During last weekend’s show, the Sherlock actress was unable to perform with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice, citing “medical reasons”. Then, on Monday evening, the producers behind the hit BBC dancing show confirmed that Amanda had since decided to leave Strictly with immediate effect.

Now, a few days on from her shock departure, one of Strictly’s judges has decided to speak his mind on the matter.

Earlier today, Anton Du Beke appeared on ITV’s This Morning and was asked about his thoughts on Amanda’s exit, and whether she had potential as a dancer.

“That’s terribly sad because, terrific! She could have made it all the way to the final. I thought she was very, very strong,” he praised.

As footage of Amanda’s final dance on Strictly appeared on screen, Anton exclaimed: “Look at her, look at her!” as This Morning co-host Alison Hammond praised the actress’ posture.

“Maybe she can do it another year, I don’t know,” Alison hinted, to which Anton agreed: “Maybe she can come back.”

Anton’s remarks come after Amanda recently broke her silence on her unexpected departure.

“It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday.

“It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside,” the 49-year-old penned further.

“I want to thank the incredible Production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I’ll miss all of them,” Amanda added at the time, concluding: “I’m so sad that I am unable to go any further.”

Wayne Rooney has paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife!

The Birmingham City manager celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday, and has now expressed his appreciation for his wife Coleen, as well as their four sons – Kai (13), Klay (10), Kit (7), and Cass (5).

The trio posed beside a birthday cake shaped like a Birmingham City football shirt, with the words ‘Happy Birthday Dad’ inscribed underneath. The father-of-four was also treated to a mound of presents, as well as a display of silver and blue balloons.

“Thanks to @coleen_rooney and the boys for a great birthday and thanks everyone for the messages. Looking forward to my first game at St Andrew’s tonight,” Wayne praised in the caption of his photo.

Yesterday, Wayne’s wife Coleen took to her own Instagram profile to share her adoration for her husband.

The 37-year-old decided to post a sweet image of the couple enjoying a meal out together. 

“Happy Birthday @waynerooney. So nice to have you home to celebrate together,” Coleen gushed in her message to the former Manchester United star.

Wayne’s birthday celebrations come after Coleen recently revealed that she kept him in the dark during her ‘Wagatha Christie’ investigations.

Speaking on The One Show in promotion for her docuseries Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, Coleen confirmed that she kept the details of her investigation into fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy to herself, until she published her now-famous statement.

“[Wayne] was in America at the time and he said, ‘What have you done?’. I think people were shocked, especially people close to me that I had put it on social media because that’s not my character at all,” she explained.

“That's the way I have always coped in my life. That is my coping mechanism, to keep things within,” Coleen added.
