It was one of the nastiest scandals of the year, and it looks like Dani Mathers will be paying big-time for her body-shaming.

The former Playboy model has been charged for SnapChatting a photo of a naked woman from her gym, and posting an insulting caption.

According to reports today, prosecutors in Los Angeles have filed a misdemeanour count of invasion of privacy against the 29-year-old.

Mathers is due to appear in court on 28th November, to answer to the charges.

She could be facing into a six-month jail sentence as well as a fine, if found guilty.

The incident occurred back in July, when Mathers posted the photo, writing: “If I can’t unsee this, then you can’t either.”

Management at the gym got wind of the post, and proceeded to contact the police as well revoke Mathers’ membership.

Mathers was widely criticised for body-shaming the oblivious woman, and apologised profusely for her actions.

Insisting that she ‘accidentally’ posted the shot to her followers, Mathers said: “I know that body-shaming is wrong and it’s not what I’m about; it’s not the type of person that I am.”

It was only this time last year that we were swooning over their engagement, but it seems it’s all over for Ryan Phillippe and fiancée Paulina Slagter.

According to E!News, the pair – who were together for five years – have called time on their engagement.

The rumour mill cranked into action a fortnight ago, when the Cruel Intentions star rocked up solo to Drake’s (now infamous) 30^th birthday party. It later emerged that Ryan and Paulina have not been seen out in public together since as far back as September.

While neither Ryan nor Paulina have commented on the reports, the website claims that news of the split was confirmed by two separate sources.

It’s a sad ending for Ryan and lawyer Paulina, who only got engaged last Christmas.

Speaking ahead of popping the question, 42-year-old Ryan appeared totally in awe of his other half.

“When people see her, they have these judgments because she could be a model but she’s about to graduate Stanford Law. I’m very involved in civil rights issues, and so to be with a woman who could actually make an impact in the legal realm – that’s a beautiful thing,” he said, in an interview.

Ryan was, of course, previously married to Reese Witherspoon, with whom he has two children; 17-year-old Ava, and 13-year-old Deacon. He is also father to five-year-old Kai; his daughter with ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp.

Reports of a Drake-Taylor Swift hook-up have been rife over the past few weeks, and Champagne Papi himself is doing nothing to dispel the rumours.

Indeed, the rapper has sent his fans into overdrive today, after sharing a photo of himself and the Bad Blood singer from his recent birthday party.

While the star’s caption of choice (“Is that velvet?”) is fairly innocent, his 30M followers are drawing their own conclusions – and the consensus is that ‘Draylor’ could actually be a thing.

“OMG nooooo,” wrote one fan (echoed by many, many others), while there was also plenty of colourful language on display, in messages such as ‘F**k Draylor’.

The outcry comes just a fortnight after the rumour mill went into overdrive, as Tay and Drake were spotted having the LOLs at his 30^th birthday bash.

While many sources are claiming that the unlikely pair hooked up on the night, others have suggested that they are actually just working on a musical collaboration.

They’ve spent much of 2016 batting away split rumours, so it’s nice to get back to the romantic side of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s relationship.

In a soon-to-air interview on The Johnathan Ross Show, Michelle revealed the details of Mark’s proposal – and it’s incredibly romantic.

The pair got engaged back in September 2013, while on holiday in Dubai, and it sounds like Mark went to a lot of effort to make it perfect for his leading lady.

“When we first started speaking, I did say that one day I’d like to get proposed to in a white dress and all that – the fairy tale,” she explained.

Mark well and truly delivered, with Michelle recalling: “He told me a story that, on the beach, there was going to be a white party. So I got a white dress, didn’t think anything of it because [an engagement] was two years down the line!”

The lovebirds went on to tie the knot in May of last year, in a £1 million bash held at Hengrave Hall, in Suffolk.

The showbiz world has been rocked today, with the announcement that singer Michael Bublé’s three-year-old son, Noah, is battling cancer.

The Home singer and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, announced the shocking news in a statement this afternoon.

“We are devastated by the recent diagnosis of cancer of our oldest son Noah, who is currently receiving treatment in the United States,” the statement read.

Michael added: “We’ve always talked a lot about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I will devote all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, for now suspending our professional activities.”

Don’t mess with Cara Delevingne – she WILL expose you!

This is the clear message being sent out by the model-turned-actress today, in response to claims that she was judged to be too ‘bloated’ to make the cut for a previous Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Cara silenced the rumours over on Instagram, by sharing a letter penned by the show’s Executive Producer, Edward Razek.

“Victoria’s Secret made every effort to have you in the London show. I know, because I was the one making the effort,” wrote Razek, admitting that he felt moved to speak out in the face of the cruel rumours.

Razek went on to reveal that Cara was, in fact, ‘the first person invited’ to the show, which took place in London, in 2014.

“The alleged casting, where supposedly disparaging remarks were made, never happened. There was NO casting. You had already been enthusiastically confirmed,” he added.

As it happened, Cara couldn’t make it to the show due to filming commitments in North Carolina – and, according to Razek, her absence was sorely missed.

“We tried hard to have you there. You would have made the show better, as you do anything ans everything you’re involved in,” gushed Razek.

Of course, the true testament to the company’s respect for Cara lies in the final line of Razek’s letter – extending an invitation to her to walk in the forthcoming VS show, in Paris, ‘no casting necessary’.

If that doesn’t silence the haters, then we don’t know what will!

Fingers crossed she’ll take Razek up on his invitation and strut her stuff in the hotly-anticipated show!
