Dull, dry, flaky skin is neither attractive nor a sign that your skin is in good condition.

Here are four things you can do to ensure you never leave the house without your face having a natural glow:

Exfoliate
Having dull, flaky skin will never leave you looking like you have a nice glow. Make sure you exfoliate at least once a week, depending on your skin type. Exfoliating helps to remove the build up of dead skin cells on your skin and will give your skin an instant glow.

Moisturise
Make sure your skin has enough moisture to ensure it never looks dull. Use a light weight product in the morning but apply a slightly more heavyweight one before you go to bed.

Fish oil supplements
Make sure you are getting enough Omega-3 fatty acids. It is great for helping to evening out skin texture and maintaining skin elasticity.

Use suncream
Protecting your skin from the sun will help to prevent it becoming dry and leathery looking. While it might not make a huge difference in your appearance now, you will definitely see it when you’re older.

Terrible news has surfaced this morning about the death of Matt Bendik, boyfriend of Becca Tobin who has played Kitty Wilde since season four of Glee.

The 35-year-old, who ran several nightclubs around the country, and was co-owner of AV Nightclub in LA , was found dead by a hotel maid on Thursday afternoon.

It was reported that Bendik and Becca had been out on Wednesday night celebrating with friends – though he was not known as a partier – and everything seemed normal.

This is terrible news, and its timing couldn’t be stranger as this Sunday marks the one year anniversary of Cory Monteith’s untimely death in a hotel room in Vancouver.

Our thoughts are with Becca and Matt’s family at this time.

Vanessa Hudgens has proved that she doesn’t need any help from Photoshop when it comes to looking fantastic. The new ad campaign for Bongo clothing shows the star in all her natural beauty. She says she wanted to inspire others:

“This is my second season working with Bongo and it’s been such a treat! The clothes really make me feel carefree and confident, which is why I love that the final ad images are un-retouched. It’s so important for girls to remember that real beauty shines from within and I’m so proud that Bongo is choosing to send such a positive message with this campaign.”

Dari Marder, chief marketing officer of Bongo’s parent company, Iconix Brand Group said that they really admire Vanessa for going without Photoshop:

“We admire her confidence to go without retouching for this campaign and can’t wait for her fans to see how naturally beautiful she is. In the age of Instagram filters and Photoshop apps, it is more important than ever that Bongo remains committed to inspiring girls to feel comfortable in their own skin, and we are excited to be partnering with Vanessa to send that message with this campaign.”

While we admire Vanessa for taking a stand, we can help but wonder if she’s really all that brave for going without Photoshop when she’s THIS good looking anyway!

New research from healthcare experts Balance Activ has found that 92% of women would do an online search of their symptoms before seeing a doctor, and three quarters of those women rarely or never go on to buy medicine to treat their condition.

The same study found that over a third of 18-24 year old feel embarrassed talking to their doctor about intimate health issues, and 39% said they would cancel the appointment if they found out it was with a male doctor.

Are we being too prudish, or is it a fair enough reason to expect a female doctor when discussing intimate issues? After all, they ARE professionals, so it shouldn’t matter if they’re a man or a woman.

Dr Rosemary Leonard of Balance Activ explained how our feeling embarrassed could be putting us at risk:  “Young women’s hesitation to talk about these issues could be why more than half of women don’t know about some very common conditions such as Bacterial Vaginosis (BV).

“BV is the most common vaginal condition, affecting one in three women, which can be caused by everyday things such as excessive washing or periods.

“It can have serious implications including putting you more at risk of catching an STI after unprotected sex, or increasing the risk of miscarriage or pre-term birth, so it’s essential to diagnose and treat it correctly.”

Justin Theroux has opened up about his relationship with his fiancé, Jennifer Anniston for the first time.

The actor talked about the attention surrounding his relationship and has admitted that he doesn’t understand why people care so much about him and Jen.

“It can be an annoyance, but it’s not the end of the world. You have to center on what its core thing is, which is that you met someone you fell in love with. It’s hard to explain. I just find myself wondering, ‘What’s the big f***ing deal?'”

Well we can’t really answer that question, but it’s probably because Jennifer and Justin have been engaged for quite some time now.

The actor said he and Jen feel practically married already and do their best to make their long distance relationship work. Justin said that once he and Jen are finally married they plan to live bicoastal.

“That’s always been a goal, to be bicoastal in a real way. I like all the clichés. I mean, I love someone who lives in Los Angeles—so that’s a big draw. But I love the weather. It does feel like a slightly healthier lifestyle, being able to hike and do all that crap.”

But Justin managed to pull heartstrings in the interview, when he revealed what happiness means to him.

“My dogs. And my lady, of course.”

Rihanna’s always on the cutting edge of fashion, and she definitely took another bold step with her latest piercing.

The singer was paped with her new nose piercing when she was leaving a photo-shoot in New York.

The 26-year-old was first photographed covering up the new piercing for a few minutes before letting everyone see the jewelled ring.

Well if anyone could pull off this look it would be Rihanna.

Do you think this piercing is stylish or just looks painful?

Celebs seem to have it all: a cool career, money, lots of travel and incredible houses. While they might not own these houses anymore, the fact that they lived in them makes us turn an unattractive shade of green.

Here are five celeb homes that we totally wish we owned, or could at least stay in for a night or two…

Drew Barrymore

Not a fan of the zebra rugs, Drew’s 6,000 square foot home was listed for a mere $7.5 million.

Jim Carrey

How the star of The Mask could bear to part with this home we’ll never know. Although, the $13.4 million price tag might have persuaded us to part ways with it as well.

Pharrell Williams

Just like Pharrell, this penthouse home oozes coolness with it’s own elevator and wraparound balcony. We’re in love.

Jack Nicholson

This home looks like it just stepped off the set of some spooky American horror film. Although Jack obviously felt safe in it as he lived here for 30 years/ The quaint house was sold for $11 million last year, pricey!

Alicia Keyes

If you don’t have a motorbike in your hall, well then you simply aren’t down with the kids… Although, after paying $12 million, you’d think she would have stayed here longer then a year.

Oh to be rich and famous…

After extensive talks, Dublin City Council has said it will allow five Garth Brooks concerts to go ahead, but only if two of those shows are performed during the day.

The DCC has proposed that two shows on Saturday and Sunday should be performed as matinee shows.

Aiken and Garth Brooks have yet to agree to these terms.

In response to this proposal Mr Brooks said “that to treat 160,000 people differently than all the rest and to see a show other than how it was meant and created is wrong.”

Garth Brooks held a press conference before the DCC made their decision. The singer said that he would “swim and crawl” to Enda Kenny to resolve the problems surrounding the Croke Park gigs.

The Dublin City Council released a statement about their decision this evening:

“Following a meeting this morning between Peter Aiken of Aiken Promotions and Owen Keegan, Chief Executive of Dublin City Council, the City Council has agreed to a proposal from Aiken Promotions designed to break the impasse that has arisen. Under the proposal, the City Council will consider an updated Event Management Plan, to be submitted in accordance with the Licence, whereby the three concerts will proceed but the Saturday and Sunday concerts will start earlier to facilitate separate matinee audiences on these two days. This will allow everybody who bought a ticket to see Garth Brooks.

The Council is satisfied that the event licensing procedure was applied correctly in this particular case by the City Council and that the decision reached was appropriate and balanced having regard to all the competing interests. However, in response to the disappointment of ticket holders who purchased tickets in good faith for the cancelled Monday and Tuesday concerts and in light of concerns that these ticket holders could turn up on the other days creating security and public safety concerns the Council has agreed, following consultation with An Garda Siochana, to consider a revised Event Management Plan prepared on the basis outlined above. It will be a matter for Aiken Promotions and Garth Brooks to decide if they wish to pursue this suggestion.”

Brad Pitt maybe one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like some fast food from time to time.

The actor was spotted at Wimpy in Essex on Tuesday, where he decided to order his evening meal.

Brad ordered a £6.35 cheeseburger meal, a £9.85 smokey barbecue burger with cheese, bacon and chips, a £2.95 classic cheeseburger and a £4.60 sausage, egg and chips meal.

Brad is filming in the UK for his new film World War Z.

One eye witness said that Brad was very polite to the staff.

“Brad was really polite and friendly to staff. He’s a fan of the Wimpy donuts after having them when he was filming World War Z here a few years ago, but sadly there weren’t any on Tuesday night.”

He plans on making a return too!

“He is expected to come back later this week to pick some up.”

Well we feel a little less guilty about our occasional fried treats now.

Another hit from Buzzfeed. Their staff have bravely opted in to taste test our Irish delicacies. Some of what they are treated to include  Tayto’s, Cadbury’s Turkish Delight and black pudding to which they refer to as ‘blood sausage’. We also have a problem with their choice of Tayto’s. Smoky bacon? Surely we’re more renowned for the cheese and onion!

The video is pretty hilarious and well worth a look. Anyone wanna try an ‘Irish taste tests American food’ version? Now that’d be worth a watch!
