This Dublin Crimbo tree is lit by TWEETS for an important reason

by

We lurve Twitter, so when heard about this deadly charity campaign that lets us pop a light on a Christmas tree every time we tweet, we were well on board.

Listen up ladies, because how this works is pure genius.

All you have to do is tweet using the hashtag #underthetree and a light will pop onto the special SPAR Twitter Tree, which is chilling out resplendently on top of the SPAR in Ranelagh.

If 20,000 tweets go out, the tree will light up fully and SPAR will donate €20,000 to the National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght.

Yep, it’s a tweet-powered Crimbo tree – amazing.

So what we need is for you, your family and your mates to get tweeting #underthetree. It’s so important to get the word out peeps, so spread it far and wide.

You don’t even have to get too fancy with your tweet. If you pop through to the site here there’s a pre-prepared tweet, so all you have to do is log in to your Twitter and press the tweet button and you’re sawted.

If we reach the 20,000 tweets target, the National Children’s Hospital will get the funds to pay for much needed research, specialised accommodation, and even toys for the kids who’ll be staying in the hospital this Christmas

Let get it done gals!

Pop over to spar.ie/twittertree and make your tweet count!
