While we wait for the weather to catch up with the calendar (hailstones, are you for real Ireland?), we'll be taking refuge from the cold this weekend with a trip to the cinema.

Luckily there's some great films to choose from in this week's line-up of new releases, from drama to horror to some sweet childhood nostalgia.

Here's a look at what's new in this week…

Tomorrowland: A World Beyond
Disney's new epic fantasy adventure sees rebellious teenager Casey (Britt Robertson) catapulted into a futuristic world hidden from most other people. The only person who can tell her more about the mysterious "Tomorrowland" is Frank (George Clooney), a recluse who soon becomes her only ally.

Poltergeist
This new remake of Stephen Spielberg's 1982 film sees a suburban family fighting for the safety of their young daughter (and themselves) after her body is taken over by a terrifying unknown force. We're terrified just thinking about it…

Moomins On The Riviera
Nineties kids will no doubt remember the Moomins picture books and comic strips, first drawn by Finnish writer Tove Jansson in the 1950s. This "rarest and most eccentric family of creatures" are being revisited with a new film, full of gentle satire and humour that is sure to leave you smiling to the very end.
