Now, a new Irish app wants to help you reconnect with all those possible boyfriends/BFFs – meaning there'll be no more panicking when you realise you gave them the wrong number.

Whatifi links you with people who were at the same venues or events as you – and (this is the important bit) it does it without making you look like a complete and utter stalker.

Each morning, Whatifi will refresh to show you each of the venues you visited the day before. You can then tap in to see which other users happened to be there at the same time as you.

Before you know it, you and Mr. Gorgeous Makes You Laugh At The Bar could be getting your flirt on via the app's messaging service.

Handy or what? Forget Tinder couples, we reckon 2016 will be the year of the Whatifi Couple.
