Dan Osborne's recent arrest scandal doesn't look set to die down anytime soon.

The TOWIE star just welcomed a baby girl with his  girlfriend, actress Jacqueline Jossa, but he was also recently put under police investigation after shocking audio footage was leaked of him threatening his ex, Megan Tomlin.

Now Dan's family's opinion on the matter has come out – and it's not pretty.

Dan's father Jim Osborne is said to have called Megan, the mother of Dan's son Teddy, a "tramp" and "one hundred per cent scum."

In the now-deleted Facebook post, Jim brands Megan as "scum," saying, "Pure 100% scum of the earth. Tramp, great role model… Nasty, horrible little people who think they are clever trying to use violence on a good man, tut tut, you should be ashamed of yourself."

The revelation comes just days after Dan made a heartfelt apology about the audio leak, saying he was "truly sorry to anyone who was offended by what they heard" and that he was "taking steps to resolve" his family situation "to achieve the best outcome for my son."

No charges were made regarding the audio, in which Dan reportedly threatened to stab Megan if she slept with another man and told her, "Go f**k yourself." However Megan's name has been placed on a domestic violence list meaning any calls to police from her address will be given high priority.

It's been less than a week since the story broke that TOWIE's Dan Osborne may be facing legal trouble following an audio handed to the police. 

On the recording, which was obtained by The Sun, a voice said to be Dan's could be heard in conversation with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Megan. 

Using shocking language and threats, the voice said to be Dan's can be heard saying: "Fo f*** yourself" and threatening to stab Megan if she slept with another man. 

Dan also claimed on the clip that he was not in a relationship with actress Jacqueline Jossa, who was expecting his child at the time. 

Following the tape being handed over to the police, Dan was temporarily axed from the TOWIE set until everything was sorted out. No charges have been brought against him. 

Now, the reality TV star has acknowledged the recording and apologised publically for it with The Mirror reporting: 

"It has taken me a while to find the right words but I would like to say that I am truly sorry to anyone who was offended by what they heard.I am unable to talk about the difficulties with my current family situation but I am taking steps to resolve it to achieve the best outcome for my son. I am ashamed and embarrassed that I allowed myself to reach such a dark place that I behaved in a way that even I didn't recognise."

Dan went on in his statement to say that there are two sides to every story when it comes to a situation such as this one: 

"While I acknowledge that there is absolutely no excuse for my deeply regrettable behaviour, I plead for some understanding that I had no intention of violence. There are always two sides to every story and all of my friends and family who are close to me know that I’m not a violent person capable of anything like this. My words were said in anger and desperation at a very difficult time."

Finishing up, the reality TV star apologised to the TOWIE cast and crew regarding his behaviour and declared that he is taking a short break to concentrate on his family:

"I love my son Teddy very much and I'm doing all that I can to see him as often as possible. I'm also very sorry to everyone at TOWIE that I have let down and thank them for their understanding and support while I take a short break to concentrate on my family."

Dan and his girlfriend, Jacqueline welcomed baby Ella only weeks ago.

Dan Osborne has been suspended from appearing on TOWIE and is currently under police investigation after shocking leaked audio footage, supposedly of Dan, was leaked to the media.

Now his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin has spoken out about the allegations, saying the leak was nothing to do with her.

On the leaked audio, Dan can be heard abusively threatening another woman, believed to be Megan, telling her he would stab her if she slept with another man. The woman then retaliates by telling Dan, "You're having a baby with someone else."

Dan and his current girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa recently had a baby girl together – making it all the more likely that the recording is indeed of Dan and Megan.

However Megan has denied claims she was the one who handed over the recording.

"No, I didn't leak the tape. I'm looking into how it's got so much media attention. The police have it, obviously, and I have been accused of selling it. I didn't," she told The Mirror.

Far from trying to "destroy" Dan and Jacqueline's relationship by leaking the audio clip to the media, Megan insists she was the one who ended things with Dan. 

"In the past 18 months, a lot of what's been written hasn't been based on fact,” she said.. "I'm not jealous and trying to split them up. I was the one who ended the relationship! I was happy telling him to go off and do what he's got to do.”

Although Dan has yet to be charged with any offence, he will not appear on TOWIE while the police investigation is ongoing.

Dan Osborne has reportedly been told to stay off the TOWIE set while the police investigate recent allegations about him.

Yesterday, it was reported by The Sun that the reality TV star was caught making abusive claims towards his ex-girfriend and mum of his son, Megan Tomlin.

Dan is also said to have denied he was in a relationship with Jacqueline Jossa in the November 2014 recording, despite the couple welcoming baby Ella only weeks ago.

Now, a spokesperson for the popular reality TV show has told The Sun that Dan will not be on the show while the investigation is ongoing: “We will be speaking to Dan. In the meantime he will not be taking part in filming.”

As of yet, no charges have been brought against the reality TV star.

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne welcomed baby daughter Ella last week, and now they're finally showing off their gorgeous little girl to the world.

The couple posed in their London home for a spread in this week's issue of OK! magazine, cradling a sleeping Ella for the camera:

22-year-old Jacqueline admitted she's already smitten with her little girl, saying, "Nothing prepares you for the love you feel for your baby – I miss her when I’m out of the room!"

The EastEnders actress announced news of Ella's birth on Twitter last week, writing, "Baby Ella osborne was born yesterday thankyou @DannyO and @Sarabro2 for everything. Amazing. She's perfect x"

Speaking about the 15-hour labour she endured before Ella's water birth, the actress told OK! that "it hurt like hell – but it was worth it."

Dan, who has a one-year-old son named Teddy from a previous relationship with Megan Tomlin, said Ella's birth was hugely emotional for him. "The relief and happiness overwhelmed me and I couldn’t stop crying. I can’t explain it," he revealed.

It's been a bumpy road for Jacqueline and Dan over the last year – shortly before Christmas TOWIE star Dan raised eyebrows when he posted a tweet saying, "Relationships just do not seem to work." 

Although the couple deny they ever split, Dan did admit in a recent interview that he had been "funny" with Jacqueline at times but that the pair were now back on track, adding that he tells his girlfriend he loves her "about 300 times a day."

Soap star Jacqueline Jossa is due to give birth very soon, and while she waited she decided to have some fun with her bump!

The Eastenders actress, who is expecting her first child with TOWIE star Dan Osborne, posted a picture last night of her belly painted to look like a giant Kinder Surprise:

So sweet… literally! Dan got in on the action too with this picture, which Jacqueline captioned, "our little kinder surprise."

Although the couple went through a seriously rocky patch last year and both took to their social media accounts to vent frustrations, it seems they are back on track. Dan recently spoke out about a tweet he had posted which read "Relationships do not seem to work," saying he feels differently now.

"There have been times when I’ve spent loads of time with Teddy [Dan's son] and I’ve been funny with Jackie or not really spoken to her," said the 23-year-old. He added that the couple are now head over heels in love once again, admitting, "Now we say it about 300 times a day.”

We're glad to see the couple getting excited together about the imminent arrival of their new little one – it won't be long now!

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have had a tough few months trying to adjust to their life as parents-to-be and have now opened up about their future together.

The couple were rumoured to have ended things and both took to their social media accounts to vent frustrations. However now it seems they are on the right track. Despite this, the couple deny having ever broken up, but have admitted that things were difficult between them. 

TOWIE’s Dan admitted to OK! magazine there were times when things were far from perfect for the young couple, saying: “There have been times when I’ve spent loads of time with Teddy[Dan's son] and I’ve been funny with Jackie or not really spoken to her.” Dan also added that the couple are very much in love, admitting: “Now we say it about 300 times a day.”

And it looks as if Dan isn’t the only one feeling the love as Jacqueline told OK! that they hate to spend a moment apart from one another: “We do everything together – tonight I’ll have to go to the gym with him and watch him work out for two hours because we hate to be apart.”

Wow – that is certainly dedication…! 

The couple are expecting a daughter together very soon, with Jacqueline enjoying her baby shower last week.

Dan also added that he plans to show his love for his girlfriend in the form of a tattoo: “I’m going to get ‘Jacqueline’ on me too because this is forever.”

It has been a dramatic few weeks for Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne, with rumours of a break-up rife in the lead-up to Christmas.

Judging by their latest social media posts however, the pair seem to be back on track, and they decided that it was the perfect time to share some exciting news with their followers: the gender of their baby!

TOWIE star Dan, who is already dad to one-year-old son Teddy, took to Instagram last night to finally share the news.

Clearly bursting with excitement, Dan shared a photo of himself holding a slice of cake from the couple’s baby shower, revealing a pink filling to show that they are having a baby girl.

“Can’t keep it a secret anymore…Me and @jacjossa are having a girl!” wrote the reality star.

We’re delighted to see the couple looking so happy and more loved-up than ever. We can’t wait to get the first glimpse of Jaqueline’s mini-me!

Jacqueline Jossa should be taking the time to fully embrace and enjoy the impending arrival of her first child in the New Year – but instead she has been forced to hit out at rumours again.

The EastEnders star, who has been frequently tweeting her excitement about her pregnancy and Christmas, took to Twitter to slam a story about her: “Shock you lot are at it again @RevealMag your articles are constantly full of rubbing, stop making up your “sources” and your stories.”

She then told her followers that she is very happy at the moment, and the only thing bringing her down was reading lies about herself: “I am happy, enjoying my pregnancy and the ONLY things that’s stressing me out, is reading so much rubbish about ‘my life’, leave me alone.”

The actress has had to deal with many rumours and stories about her relationship with the father of her child, Danny Osborne. While the fate of their relationship remains unknown, we’re sure Jacqueline knows what is best for herself and her baby moving forward.

Pregnancy is definitely suiting actress Jacqueline Jossa, if this Instagram snap is anything to go by.

The Eastenders star, who is due to give birth to her first child early next year, shared a picture of herself looking relaxed and flawless as she spent some quality time with her niece. The gorgeous photo of the pair was captioned, "Chilling with my bestie!"

Look at that amazing skin – excuse us while we go and cry in the mirror, thanks.

The 22-year-old also shared a few wise words to her followers yesterday, letting them know she doesn't care what people think of her:

That seems like the right attitude to have at the moment, given Jacqueline's boyfriend Dan Osborne has been creating a lot of media attention for the pair.

Last month the TOWIE star was arrested at the home of his ex Megan Tomlin following an incident of suspected assault. He was later released without charge.

And earlier this week Dan revealed he'd be spending most of his Christmas with Megan and the former couple's one-year-old son, Teddy.

That revelation can't have been easy for poor Jacqueline, so we're glad to see she is keeping her head held high!

TOWIE star Dan Osborne has an amazing Christmas planned for his son Teddy in the company of his ex Megan Tomlin… but we wonder if he's told that to Jacqueline Jossa!

Given that Jacqueline is expecting her first child with Dan in early 2015, we imagine she wanted him all to herself this year.

But as well as a busy schedule performing in Liverpool's Jack and the Beanstalk panto, Dan revealed he would be driving to Megan's house after work each evening to see one-year-old Teddy.

He also revealed that he plans to spend Christmas Day with close family – and Teddy of course.

"I'm going to make sure that every Christmas and birthday he'll have all the presents he could want," said Dan, adding that the toddler was "constantly in the back of my mind."

Discussing his plans for Christmas in an interview with Closer magazine, the star appeared to gloss over a question about becoming a dad for the second time, answering, "Yeah. And I'm now a full-time Dreamboy too! The tour was so succesful that I'm carrying on next year. I really enjoy it." 

Hmmm… Very vague!

Despite not gushing too much about his second new arrival, the TOWIE star did say earlier this year that he felt "truly blessed" to have the chance to become a dad again. 

As for Jacqueline, she has been getting very excited on social media about her pregnancy, sharing this sweet picture earlier in the week of pals cradling her bump:

It looks set to be a very happy Christmas after all on Albert Square with this amazing proposal spoiler!

Peter Beale, played by Ben Hardy, is set to return to Walford from his trip to New Zealand and will ask Lauren to be his wife – aww!

As far as we can see from the released photo, Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) looks like she will most definitely say yes. 

In true gentlemanly fashion, Peter first asked Max (Jake Wood) for his blessing to propose to his eldest daughter. At first Max is hesitant, but then agrees and even helps him set it all up. 

Hmm, we wonder if this has anything to do with the way in which producers are going to deal with Jacqueline’s real-life pregnancy? Perhaps she and her new fiancé Peter will set sail for a happily ever after!
