If you fancy seeing yourself on the TV screen, then this might be your chance.

A new six-part Eastenders spin-off is coming to Ireland and they're looking for some home talent to join the cast.

The show will see popular characters Kat and Alfie Moon leaving Walford and heading to Ireland to start a new life. The drama will be focused around the South East of the country as they search for answers to their pretty difficult questions.

Speaking of their new mini-soap, Shane Richie said: “Both Jessie and I are absolutely thrilled to be given this amazing opportunity. To have a whole drama focused around Kat and Alfie is a huge honour for us both and we just can’t wait to start filming.”

Jessie added: “I have always loved working on EastEnders so when I heard of this new drama to take Kat and Alfie outside of Walford, I couldn’t believe our luck. To be exploring the next chapter for Kat as well as working alongside my best mate, Shane, is a dream come true and a huge compliment.”

Filming is set to take place in Dunmore East in May & June and open auditions will be held this coming weekend.

Redwater Productions are looking for men, women and children of all ages. The open castings will take place at the Waterford Harbour Sailing Club in Dunmore East this Friday April 1 between 4pm and 8pm and at Central Arts on The Quay in Waterford this Saturday from 12 noon until 7pm.

Earlier this year Peggy Mitchell came back to Eastenders for one last hurrah – and now another beloved characters is making her way back to the cobbles.

Everyone's fave, Pat Butcher will also make a one-time comeback even though she was killed off the soap four years ago.

Pam St Clement, who played the popular bar tender quit the show after 25 years to pursue other activities, but The Mirror reports that she will make a return in one of Peggy's final scenes.

According to the paper, Pat will appear to Peggy in a vision during her final moments on the show – something we can't wait to see since the pair argued for most of their time on the soap. Let's just say Peggy's final minutes will be.. interesting!

A student from the UK has had a homeless Ian Beale inked onto her thigh.

The 21-year-old told The Tab that she has no regrets of getting the Eastenders character tattooed onto her, but she can't even remember why she got it.

Amber-May Ellis swears she is happy with the design, which shows Ian wearing a beanie hat, a scruffy beard and cuts on his face.

The Reading University student is a self-confessed Eastenders fan but this isn't her first inking – she also has the word "banter" tattooed on her arms in Wingdings font.

"Basically it was a drunken bet – but it was so irrelevant no one can remember what it actually was," Amber-May said.

"All we know was that I lost and I was getting the tattoo. It was a crazy night."

Dean Wicks finally got what he deserved on EastEnders yesterday, but fans of the show will find this latest clip far more entertaining.

The cast of the long-running soap put down their scripts for a few minutes to focus on something else entirely – Drake's Hotline Bling.

Danny Dyer, Luisa Bradshaw-White, Dominic Treadwell-Collins, Shona McGarty, Linda Henry, Jonny Libey, Matt Di Angelo, Kellie Bright all got involved for the behind-the-scenes shoot, showing off their best Drake impressions for the cameras.

Everyone gives it a solid effort – but Danny Dyer most definitely wins in the 'cringey dancing' stakes. Sorry, Danny.

Sean Maguire and his wife of two years Tanya have welcomed their first child thanks to their supportive Twitter followers.

The happy couple became parents to a baby boy Flynn Patrick on July 14. Flynn was born in Vancouver, Canada.

The L.A based couple have relocated in order for Sean to continue filming the series Once Upon a Time. He plays Robin Hood in the series which also boasts Irish actress Victoria Smurfit as a cast member.

She’s responsible for bringing the characters of Cruella De Ville. Victoria was quick to pass on her message of congratulations to the happy family on social media.

Speaking with E! News the pair said: "We are truly blessed to have such a healthy and beautiful baby boy." They also added that both mom and baby are doing great.

Sean was scheduled to make an appearance with his co-stars at San Diego’s Comic Con not too long ago but took to Twitter to explain his hasty departure.

Sean and Tanya originally married in California in 2012 but the couple had a second ceremony in Ireland in 2014 surrounded by more friends, family and a few celebrities.

Ant and Dec were just two of the famous faces spotted at the ceremony in Co. Kerry. The couple chose the Sneem Hotel for their reception and Chloe Agnew (Twink’s daughter) performed at the ceremony.

Lucky little Flynn is already set to be rubbing shoulders with the stars. Sean’s OUAT co-stars Ginniger Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who play Snow White and Prince Charming, of course, welcome their first child last May. Celebrity baby BFFS! So cute.

Congratulations to the new parents!

It looks as if things have gone from bad to worse for Daniella Westbrook and her on-off fiancé, Tom.

The former EastEnders actress shared a photo of her bruised hand on Twitter last night and wrote: “Back to bed back up sleep for a while. Body bruised and hurting.”

Daniella later alleged on the social media site that it was her former fiancé, Tom who had inflicted the painful looking bruises, writing: “So Tom Richards blocks me after beating me up and covering me in bruises. That boy needs arresting and sending back to Wales. #PoliceAware.”

This is the latest in a string of violent incidents involving her fiancé, one of which involved her 18-year-old son, Kai.

Thankfully, the actress says that she is resting up while the police take care of things: “Resting with my family right now. @metpoliceuk and doctors have been amazing. @OfficialTomRich needs banging up #CanOnlyFightWomen.”

We hope Daniella makes the right decision for her family regarding her relationship – all of these incidents really do not sound good at all.

Having kept viewers on the edge of their seats wondering who killed Lucy Beale in recent weeks, the EastEnders team have now decided to shake up their casting.

The show's producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins, who believes the long-running BBC soap has the power to 'change the world', announced yesterday that he intends to introduce the show's first transgender character.

Speaking at a news event yesterday, Dominic said: "I would want to cast a trans actor too. The pen hasn’t hit the paper yet. I am looking for actors and I need the right character."

Admitting he was concerned about the sensitivity of the issue, Dominic went on to say: "We have to be very, very careful about what we say. With EastEnders you’re preaching to a lot of people who don’t want to hear about LGBT issues."

In fairness, Corrie introduced much-loved character Hayley Cropper in the late 90s, so it seems the Cockney soap has a bit of catching up to do!

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne welcomed baby daughter Ella last week, and now they're finally showing off their gorgeous little girl to the world.

The couple posed in their London home for a spread in this week's issue of OK! magazine, cradling a sleeping Ella for the camera:

How cute?!

22-year-old Jacqueline admitted she's already smitten with her little girl, saying, "Nothing prepares you for the love you feel for your baby – I miss her when I’m out of the room!"

The EastEnders actress announced news of Ella's birth on Twitter last week, writing, "Baby Ella osborne was born yesterday thankyou @DannyO and @Sarabro2 for everything. Amazing. She's perfect x"

Speaking about the 15-hour labour she endured before Ella's water birth, the actress told OK! that "it hurt like hell – but it was worth it."

Dan, who has a one-year-old son named Teddy from a previous relationship with Megan Tomlin, said Ella's birth was hugely emotional for him. "The relief and happiness overwhelmed me and I couldn’t stop crying. I can’t explain it," he revealed.

It's been a bumpy road for Jacqueline and Dan over the last year – shortly before Christmas TOWIE star Dan raised eyebrows when he posted a tweet saying, "Relationships just do not seem to work."

Although the couple deny they ever split, Dan did admit in a recent interview that he had been "funny" with Jacqueline at times but that the pair were now back on track, adding that he tells his girlfriend he loves her "about 300 times a day."

We're delighted to see Dan and Jacqueline looking so happy!

It was well known that no EastEnders cast member knew who killed Lucy Beale until it was absolutely vital that they needed to.

Many of them did not even know when they watched the episode live last night – meaning that this Vine is all the more special!

The TV show's official Twitter account shared a photo of the cast and crew of the soap watching the highly anticipated episode in a pub last night, here is their reaction to the reveal…

The episode was part of a year-long mystery surrounding the death of Lucy Beale. Her killer was eventually found to be her little brother, Bobby.

Tonight's episode will reveal Bobby and Lucy's stepmum, Jane's role in the cover-up as a bid to protect the 11-year-old.

After almost a year of waiting, tonight is the night that EastEnders fans FINALLY discover the what, where, when and WHO behind Lucy Beale's murder.

In a tense hour-long episode just now during which suspect after suspect was eliminated, we were finally given a pretty big revelation that Jane Beale was the responsible for Lucy's murder.

But was she really the killer or was someone else involved?

In true soap style, there's bound to be another twist in tonight's second episode, which airs at 9.25pm on BBC1 and RTÉ1. The half-hour episode, titled "The Flashback" will show viewers Lucy's final moments on that fateful night back in April 2014.

HOLD US. This is all too much suspense to bear!

The drama continues on EastEnders tonight as Lucy Beale's killer is FINALLY revealed. But last night's show provided just as much entertainment for viewers, as poor Jo Joyner referred to another character by the wrong name – and the cast definitely got in on the joke today!

Jo, who plays Tanya on the show, was meant to ask Ian Beale's wife Jane, "How's Ian?" during one of last night's live segments. However in a VERY awkward slip-up, she instead asked "How's Adam?", in reference to Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian.

Poor Jo took to Twitter shortly afterwards saying she was "gutted" by the mistake:

However her fellow cast member Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning, saw the funny side of things when he tweeted a mock-up of a script rewrite on Twitter today, asking Jo and Adam what they thought:

Brilliant!

We can't wait to see if anyone else slips up tonight! For now, we're watching this on repeat – we know we shouldn't laugh but we can't help it!

If you watched the live episodes of EastEnders last night you may or may not have caught a certain actress fluffing her lines in a MAJOR way.

Poor Tanya, played by Jo Joyner, was speaking with Jane Beale about her upcoming nuptials when she accidentally referred to Ian by his real name, Adam. Oops!

Joy’s reaction has since gone viral with Twitter allowing her mistake to take on a life of its own…

Thankfully, Jo managed to see the funny side of the entire thing, but did admit that she was ‘gutted’: “You never answered me @LauriebrettX how is @AdamaWoodyatt?…#leastyouknowitslive #gutted.”

Oops! Ah well, we were just happy to have Tan' back on the squear!
