He's had his well-documented wrangles with the law in the past – including a high-profile case against his ex girlfriend Rihanna – but trouble and Chris Brown still seemingly go hand-in-hand.

In fact, the singer has now been named by police as a "person of interest," in an assault case involving a young woman.

The woman claims that on Monday evening, and after she refused to surrender her phone to his entourage, she was forcibly thrown off Mr Brown's tour bus.

Along with French Montana and Fetty Wap, Chris, 26, has been shooting a video at the Platinum 84 Gentleman's Club in Denver.

TMZ reports that the woman, who was not part of the production, had now filed a police report for third degree assault – and that relevant CCTV footage has already been viewed by the authorities.

The woman in question furthermore claims that her phone was smashed during the alleged scuffle.

Supposedly, the matter arose because Mr Brown and his posse always enforce a strict 'no phones' rule on their tour bus to avoid videos or photographs being secretly shot.

Police are now very much looking to interview Chris and his friends as part of their investigations.

Chris Brown is one happy man this weekend.

The 26-year-old singer has been in a custody battle with the mother of his child, Nia Guzman, for weeks now but it has ben confirmed that Chris has won joint custody of his daughter Royalty.

Chris was allowed to take Royalty home yesterday but in addition was ordered to pay $2,500 (€2,200) every month in child support.

Nia originally pleaded with Chris to pay $15,000 (€13,200) a month in child support and limit him to supervised visitation. Soon after, Chris went on a Twitter rant accusing his former flame of using their daughter as a "meal ticket."

"Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets," Chris tweeted.

"Using a child as leverage is never ok. The highest praise to the men who actually want their kids."

Based on the Loyal singer's Instagram, he's nothing but a doting father. He posts regular adorable photos of his little girl, with captions that call her the "best thing" in his life. He also refers to her as "Queen Royalty."

We know that sometimes referring to celebrities as our significant others can just be some harmless fun, as long people are able to understand the difference between real life and not-so real life.

For one unfortunate soul though, it looks like he may just have been caught out in a blatant lie.

NBA professional Matt Barnes, a player for the Memphis Grizzlies team, was speaking with TMZ cameras when asked about his current romantic situation. Rather than opt for a blush-filled no comment, he talked himself into a bit of an awkward situation.

In a video, currently on the TMZ website, Barnes explains that he and Rihanna are in fact very close friends.

“Rihanna’s my friend right now. So we’ll see where it goes… I think it just passed the crush stage.”

In response to these claims, Rihanna, 27,  took to social media to call Matt out for his less than truthful confessions.  As it turns out, she has never even met the man.

Rihanna took a screen shot of Matt’s video and posted it to her Instagram page with a series of hashtags to detail just how far the pair are from ever being involved.

We’re not sure about you but ‘defamation of character’ is a pretty clear response to poor Matt. Lesson learned, don’t pretend to be in a relationship with Rihanna because she will shut you down, and not in a quiet fashion.

Meanwhile Hollywood Life is reporting that Rihanna’s former boyfriend Chris Brown is still not over their break up.

“He misses her. He always has. She’s a good woman and he loves her to death. He thinks she’s drop dead beautiful with a soul that only an angel could have,” an insider has said.

Apparently Chris is turning to Rihanna for support during the drama surrounding his daughter and her mom. According to sources he would love to have Rihanna join him on his tour in the future.

Rapper Chris Brown recently announced that he was working to turn his life around after years of bad boy behaviour. Step one of his many lifestyle changes is spending time focusing on his daughter Royalty, but it seems that's not been very easy for him to do of late.

The No Air hitmaker took to Twitter earlier today to hit out at Royalty's mother, Nia Guzman, for using their child as "leverage" in an ongoing financial battle.

"Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets," he wrote.

"Using a child as leverage is never ok. The highest praise to the men who actually want their kids."

Chris has been paying Nia $2,500 (€2,270) in child support since discovering he was father to one-year-old Royalty in January of this year. But Nia is now demanding $15,000 (€13,600) each month, six times more than Chris is currently paying her.

And according to sources close to the rapper, he refused to pay anything at all last month after Royalty was sent to Nia's mother's house at the time he was due to see her. He has also contested Nia's plans to get full custody of the little one.

Nia and Chris were never in a long-term relationship but had a brief fling back in 2013. As part of the custody battle, Chris must prove he is indeed Royalty's biological father and must also refute Nia on three points – that he might put Royalty in harm's way, that drugs may be used in her presence, and that she might be in danger of violence from Chris' acquaintances.

Last month a group of gunmen targeted Chris' aunt at his €5m Los Angeles home, holding her at gunpoint as they rooted through the house for valuables.

Sounds like the singer has a rocky road ahead.

Just days ago Chris Brown uploaded a video of himself pleading for the President of the United States to help him get out of the Philippines and back to the U.S safely.

Chris took to Twitter to explain the situation was desperate and said “someone needs to be held accountable for mixing my name up in all this.”

However, it appears that while he was in the Philippines performing, the father of one couldn’t help himself but do a much unexpected performance.

Just like most of the world, Chris Brown really loves himself some Rihanna. Despite their rocky relationship in the past, it seems that he couldn’t help be share some Riri love on stage.

The 26-year old is clearly just a big a fan of Rihanna's latest smash hit Bitch Better Have My Money as we are. The R&B star gave the song his best cover attempt at his Macau concert.

His fans went absolutely wild, as did Chris himself. Taking a break from performing his own hit songs, he got the crowd very excited when he launched into his cover of his ex-girlfriend’s song.

He is also clearly living the dream in the video as he really does let it all out on stage. There’s lots of shouting and arms waving about, his excitement also couldn’t even be contained by his clothing it seems.

While the pair had a very tumultuous relationship, a source for Hollywood Life has said about Rihanna, 27,  “The only person she’s ever had an automatic connection with was Chris. That’s why she was and continues to be attached to him.”

We’re not sure if Riri herself has seen the video, but we would love to get a peek at her reaction to the performance.

Chris Brown has been stuck in Manila in the Philippines for two days while immigration officials refuse to grant him permission to leave.

The 26-year-old singer is being held in the Southeast Asian country after a fraud complaint was filed against him saying that Mr Brown owed a religious Christian group over a million dollars refund after he skipped a concert he was meant to perform there last New Year’s Eve. Although, he performed a make-up concert in the country just three days ago.

Still got it. Thank you Manila for allowing me to come and perform!

In a desperate appeal, the Five More Hours singer posted a video of himself to his Instagram in which he is seen pleading, with his hands in a prayer position, to get out of the Philippines and back to the US safely. The video, which has since been deleted, was captioned “OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!” as the singer pleaded to the President of the United States.

Chris also took to Twitter to explain the severity of the situation. “This is a very serious situation and someone needs to be held accountable for mixing my name up in all this. I’ve done nothing wrong!!!”

He added, “I have nothing to do with anything going on right now. I came back to Manila to do a make-up show for New Years, I did the show three days ago.”

The concert that the father-of-one failed to show up for was sponsored by the Christian group Iglesia ni Cristo. The religious group are hugely influential on Philippine politics.

This is by no means the first time that high-profile celebrities have run into difficulty when performing in the country.

The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and One Direction are a few of the world’s biggest names in music that have had trouble with the Philippine government and censorship controls.

When asked about Mr Brown’s case, a US embassy spokesman told AFP that, “The embassy assists its citizens who are in need.”

Virginia-born rapper Chris Brown was the target of a robbery earlier this morning.

His Los Angeles house was hit early on Wednesday at around 2am local time by a group of robbers who invaded his property and held his aunt at gun point.

The group then locked his aunt in a closet in the home while they rooted through the entire house looking for valuables.

The incident took place in the new home Chris recently bough in swish San Fernando Valley area although he was not in the house at the time.

According to TMZ, three armed men entered the house and put a gun to Chris's aunts face and forced her into the wardrobe. According to police, they took money and other items of value from the house before fleeing.

The aunt called emergency services as soon as she could but by the time someone arrived, the men had fleed.

This state of the art home is worth almost €5m, and Chris has recently been showing it off on Instagram.

Chris Brown is in the middle of a difficult paternity battle, it would appear.

It has just been reported that the singer is so fed up with the mother of his child that he no longer wants to her to move to Los Angeles with their daughter.

However, this has nothing to do with Chris’s love for his daughter. The Wake Me Up singer seems so totally smitten with his one-year-old, Royalty. He even gushed over his beautiful girl in an Instagram post where he said “I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do.”

But, it would appear that there is trouble in paradise. According to HollywoodLife.com, the 26-year-old rapper is sick of Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman, and her over-the-top demands.

According to reports, Nia is demanding that Chris pay nearly €14,000 a month in child support payments. While the Five More Hours singer claims he loves his daughter more than anything, he also believes that no child needs €3,500 a week.

Apparently the rift between the pair is becoming so strong that Chris doesn’t want Nia and her daughter to move to LA anymore.

“At one time Chris was really into moving Nia out here so he could be closer to Royalty. Now, that’s not his priority,” an insider told the website.

“He doesn’t want to see Nia on a daily basis like that. The only reason he ever wanted to bring her here was so that he could see Royalty as often as possible.”

Chris Brown is no angel but it seems he has been working to turn his life around over the last year.

The singer took to Instagram yesterday to share a small progress update, posting a before-and-after shot showing the weight he has lost over the twelve months. Speaking at the BET Awards earlier this week, Chris said his weight was just one of many parts of his life that he was trying his best to change.

"Last year, I was fat on this stage, dancing, trying to get my stuff together," he told the crowds. "A lot has changed in my life, a lot of mistakes, a lot of lessons learned." Chris' Instagram post (which he deleted shortly after) was captioned simply with a series of laughing emojis.

The singer was released from jail for the second time last June, having been sentenced to an additional 108 days for violating probation during the Rihanna domestic abuse case.

Six months later, in January of this year, Chris discovered he was father to a toddler daughter named Royalty, following a one-night stand with old friend Nia Guzman. While he still has a long way to go to atone for his past sins, the singer does appear to be making a real effort to focus on positive growth, telling the audience at the BETs that meeting Royalty had changed his life.

"The best thing, I’m most thankful for is my daughter. At the end of the day, love is love. I love everybody," he said during his performance. And given that Rihanna herself stopped by during Chris' rehearsal to watch him perform and give him some words of encouragement, it seems he really has been trying to make amends for his mistakes.

Rihanna definitely caught everyone's attention during her appearance at the Black Entertainment Television Awards (BETs) last night.

The 27-year-old singer stepped out bra-less and in a short gold suit to the awards ceremony where she was debuting a clip from her new video for Bitch Better Have My Money… but her outfit was the last thing on people's minds.

Before taking to the stage, Rihanna seemed to get into an argument with BET’s president of programming, Stephen Hill, and luckily for us the whole thing was caught on camera.

She can be seen talking to Stephen backstage before she says “Why not? This is why I don’t like coming to BET” before throwing a wad of cash in his face and strutting on stage like nothing had happened. It's thought RiRi had wanted to throw the cash into the crowd but was prevented from doing so by Stephen.

But not to worry, she will definitely be allowed back next year after the pair both took to Instagram to show they had kissed and made-up and that they were pals again.

Rihanna was also spotted carrying some duct tape when she turned to Floyd Mayweather and taped his mouth shut and his reaction was priceless!

Rihanna seemed to confuse everyone with this stunt but if it's attention she wanted, she definitely got it.

Chris Brown really has turned over a new leaf. And it’s all thanks to his daughter, Royalty.

Currently touring the US, the singer had Royalty join him as he travels to El Paso in Texas for the final date on his X tour. Following the adorable little girl’s arrival on the bus Chris put in place some seriously strict rules for everyone to follow.

According to a source, now that baby Royalty is on board Chris going to be keeping things strictly PG, and that means absolutely no groupies.

The singer’s demands also mean that there’s going to be no smoking, no drinking and no swearing on board.

The 26-year old has been using Instagram to gush over his newly discovered daughter, whose mother is model Nia Guzman-Amey. Chris often posts cute snaps of his daughter taking her naps and of the two of them having singalongs in the studio.

A video posted by @chrisbrownofficial on

While Royalty’s nap game is certainly strong, that probably is helped by her dad making sure that while on board the tour bus if Royalty needs a nap, then everybody naps.

Chris’s entourage are also being treated to a catch-up of all their favourite Disney films.

Royalty is apparently a big Frozen fan so we’re sure there’s got to be a Let It Go cover making it’s way to the star’s Instagram feed soon enough. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Bebe’s Kids are also favourites of the stylish two-year old.

Despite his obvious joy spending time with his little girl, the singer appears to be frustrated with his ex, Karrueche Tran.

The pair split up when she discovered Chris had fathered Royalty during their relationship. Since then the pair have been lashing out at each other on social media with Karreuche accusing him of not ‘manning up’.

Meanwhile, if Royalty’s Disney obsession is anything like North West’s, she’s got her dad so wrapped around her little finger it will only be a matter of time before the tour bus is making a stop at Disneyland.

Just as long as no one invites any random girls along for the trip.

This week, rapper Snoop Dogg incurred the wrath of social media when he made a nasty dig at Caitlyn Jenner, describing her as a “science experiment”.

You would think that friends of the Kardashian-Jenner clan would have a little bit more sensitivity about the subject, but unfortunately, Chris Brown failed to rise to the occasion.

The star, who is good friends with Kylie and Kendall – and who is a regular feature in the girls’ Instagram snaps – made a particularly bad judgment call by regramming Snoop’s offensive meme.

The meme in question featured a picture of rapper Akon, with the caption reading: “Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million Africans with solar power. I’m really upset that this isn’t major news but that science project Bruce Jenner is #Society.”

Needless to say, Chris’ good buddy Kylie was upset and disappointed by his decision to jump on the bandwagon, and she couldn’t stay silent on this one.

Commenting on Chris’ thread, she wrote: “Not very nice to say about your friend’s dad.”

Avoiding a full-on confrontation, the 17-year-old took to her Twitter account to share a word of advice to the Snoops and Chris Browns of the world, writing: “State what you want about the world without bashing others. Leave a positive impact.”

It appears that Chris was shamed into removing the meme from his own social media feeds, but we wonder if the damage has already been done between these former besties.
