‘Freshly Chopped’, the healthy food company, has now reopened on Baggot Street as ‘Freshly Chopped Innovation Kitchen’ following a complete redesign of the menu and service model, creating a more streamlined preparation and ordering system, making enjoying Chopped even easier and faster. The outlet will also innovate by regularly trialling new menu options and product ranges, which could then roll out across the Chopped network.

The Baggot Street outlet was the very first Freshly Chopped, opened in May 2012. Since then Freshly Chopped has expanded to include over 50 outlets throughout Ireland and internationally. The Baggot Street location was selected to showcase the new Freshly Chopped experience as it was immediately popular with the local community in a vibrant area of ever changing dining options and brands.

At Freshly Chopped Innovation Kitchen you can opt to ‘Grab and Go’ from a selection of pre-prepared wraps and salad bowls, based on the most popular combinations. But the real innovation is at the order station where the 3 step process promises ‘speed without compromise’. Choose your salad, add your protein and then your salad dressing to create your perfect salad bowl. As all the elements are freshly pre-prepared in store, your chosen combination, in either a salad bowl or wrap, delivers the same great fresh taste, but with a tighter turnaround time!

“Our delicious new range of grab & go boxes and snack pots are also the ideal meal or snack for those on the go, any time of the day. The new-look Baggot outlet is a first of its kind for Freshly Chopped, but we may look to expand the concept to other locations around the country as we continue our expansion.”

Have you ever woken up bleary-eyed (and possibly hungover) to the horrible sound of your blaring alarm, just longing for the sweet release of a breakfast roll?

We certainly have, and Just Eat are delivering heaven in the form of an exciting extended breakfast menu.

82 percent of people are more likely to eat breakfast if it was delivered straight to their door (guilty), despite the fact that it's the most important meal of the day.

What's Ireland's way to start the day? A breakfast roll, of course. What else? The national fave is now available for delivery on the leading food ordering and delivery app.

The nation is heavily divided in terms of the best breakfast roll sauces, with ketchup winning the battle of the public vote at 57 percent.

Over 60 percent of Irish people surveyed said that they'd tap the Just Eat app for that tasty bap, with 23 percent admitting to using brown sauce. The nerve.

The Just Eat breakfast offering features popular eateries such as; Angelina’s Deli, Doughboys, Krispy Kreme, Chopped, Cocu, LEON, O’Briens, Rocket's and more.

Almost 20 percent of workers check their inbox before eating breakfast at their desk, which can't possibly be enjoyable.

Asked who they'd love to see delivering their Just Eat breakfast, 40 percent of fans hoped for Westlife to fly without wings, while 30 percent had their heads turned by Love Island's Maura Higgins.

Irish salad company Chopped has grown astronomically in the past few years, and now the company is expanding further.

The chopping connoisseurs have announced the creation of 320 new jobs today.

Both full time and part time jobs will be available as Chopped opens 20 new stores.

The new shops will be opening during 2017 all across the country, including Cork, Wicklow and Waterford.

The company is also making its first oversees endeavour, as it plans to create up to 110 jobs in the UK through new stores.

The health food company has grown extremely popular, thanks to the multiple healthy lunch options it offers in the form of salad bowls, wraps, soups and detox smoothies.

Oh, and while we have you; don't forget to have your say in the inaugural SHEmazing Awards this May! It's time to vote, and you can do it right here!

It's the salad bar with the serious following – and now Chopped has branched out from its city centre, Ballsbridge, Baggot St, and Fairview locations to another site in Rathmines.

Suffice to say from now on it will be giving Dublin 6-based folk some incredibly delicious lunch options, but right now it's practically a riot down there.

Why? Well, because at the moment salads are being given out FOR FREE.

The offer extends until lunchtime (1pm) so if you happen to be in the area, you need to elbow your way in pretty much immediately.

After 1pm, all purchases for the rest of the day are a wholly tempting half price.

For anyone who misses out – there is some further good news, however: Tallaght and Sandyford will also be getting their own outlets very soon.

Hurrah for salad!

We all know that the modern Irish person is relatively health conscious and we all know that we love our food, so when a new restaurant or deli opens up there tends to be a bit of a furore.

Well not only a furore but a very long queue developed outside of the new Chopped premises which opened at the top of Grafton Street (opposite Trinity College) today.

Chopped is an Irish owned healthy eatery offering customers a selection of healthy salads and sandwiches at VERY reasonable prices.

It has several stores across the capital including on Baggot Street and in Ballsbridge.

And since the new premises on Grafton Street was offering FREE salads up until 1pm, we guess we would probably hop in the queue too.

But if you missed out on the free salads earlier on, to celebrate their opening they are offering half price salads for the rest of the day so if you have some spare time, it's well worth the wait.
