Tributes to a popular actor and musician have been made following his sudden death at the age of just 38.

Kristian Ealey, who played Matt Musgrove in Brookside between 1998 and 2000 before taking a place among the Hollyoaks cast until 2004, has been honoured by former co-stars and colleagues this week.

The actor and father, who later became a member of popular Liverpool band Tramp Attack, is understood to have gone to sleep with a pain in his arm and tragically never work up.

Paying tribute to the performer who played Ringo Starr in In His Life: The John Lennon Story, Brookside co-star Suzanne Collins said: "I'm very privileged to have called him a friend."

"There were a gang of the young ones who grew up on the set of Brookside, we called ourselves the Brooki Brat Pack and have an incredible bond."

"We were together nearly every day on set and we socialised out of work together, we became family," she said of the actor who passed away while working in Italy. "It has shocked us all to the core. Kris was full of life, full of smiles and so full of music,"

Equally stunned by Kristian's passing, Hollyoaks star, Gemma Atkinsons, tweeted: "Just awful. What a lovely, lovely man! Had many laughs with him at work back in the day… RIP."

Paying tribute to the popular star, Hollyoaks production company Lime Pictures said: "Many crew worked with Kristian on both Hollyoaks and Brookside and enjoyed following his musical success after leaving the show."

Speaking to Digital Spy, they confirmed: "The news has been met with shock and sadness on set and everyone's thoughts are with his family at this time."

Our thoughts go out to Kristian's friends and family.

You know that moment on a night out when you find yourself dancing with someone, but you're not exactly FEELING it?

The intuition isn't really there, you're struggling to anticipate the other person's moves and the tempo is just a bit… off?

Well, call us cynical, but we're pretty sure that's what happened when Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston decided to indulge in an impromptu dance-off during this year's Met Gala.

In a video which was uploaded to Instagram by Valentino PR Carlos Souza last night, the unlikely pair can be seen dancing together, and we are just NOT that into it.

Maybe it's the lack of eye contact, maybe it's the Avengers actor's weird grin when Taylor seems to disappear or maybe it's the way he suddenly skulks off-screen with an awkward clap after he realises he's now dancing on his own. (Robyn would be SO proud.)

We don't know, but we've definitely seen better…

It looks like everyone has had something to say about Beyoncé in recent days, doesn't it?

Following the star's controversial album drop last week, it seems like the singer has been the sole topic of conversation in the world of celebrity, and now Adele has decided to weigh in and give her thoughts on the Drunk In Love singer.

Taking to Instagram last night, the When We Were Young singer uploaded a snap of herself looking fairly emotional as she clutched a giant picture of the star, writing: "I'm not late on this I've just been speechless."

"Beyonce is the most inspiring person I've ever had the pleasure of worshipping," she gushed in the post which has been liked a whopping 387,000 times since its upload yesterday.

With everyone focussing their attention on Queen Bey's supposed relationship problems, Adele decided to shift attention back to the star's career, writing: "Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own."

"I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé," finished the 27-year-old Londoner in the poignant post which has hit us right in the feels this morning.

Madonna is no stranger to controversy and after more than thirty years in the spotlight, there's no doubt the music icon can take pretty much ANYTHING that's thrown at her.

Having been slammed for her choice of ensemble at last night's Met Gala, Madge took to Twitter and Instagram, and proved she couldn't care less what people had to say about her Edward Scissorhands-inspired look.

Sharing an image of herself with the caption 'No F*cks To Give', the 57-year-old performer reminded everyone that she'll do, say and wear whatever she wants for as long as she wants.(And the rest of us will just have to DEAL.)

The mum-of-four shared a number of snaps from one of the biggest celeb events of the year, and made sure to grab a photo with fellow stars who also chose to rock the goth look for the NYC bash.

Cosying up to Nicki Minaj in a photo which has been liked almost 60,000 times on Instagram since its upload today, Madonna looked pretty amazing for a woman approaching her sixtieth birthday.

We're with you on this one, Madge.

The music world went into mourning earlier this year when it lost one of its biggest and brightest stars, but it looks like the ever-popular David Bowie still manages to astound even after his untimely passing.

If you're the proud owner of the late singer's last album, Blackstar, you may be interested to know that the enormous star on the cover holds one very sweet secret, and it's just so Bowie we love it.

Taking to Imgur to share the discovery with fellow Bowie fans last night, one very impressed Imgur user wrote: "A friend discovered that if you expose the Blackstar gatefold to sunlight a starfield appears."

Posting a snap of the iconic vinyl album cover in all its glory, they concluded the uplifting message with the words: "What a beautiful secret."

If you want to create your very own galaxy, simply leave the cover out in the sun (devoid of the vinyl obvs), and watch as David leaves you one final parting gift.

We're filling up here, ladies.

Ever since Kanye West stormed the stage with his 'Imma let you finish' rant during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech in 2009, no one has ever really known what he's likely to come out with next.

Proving that he's still a bit of a loose canon when it comes to off-the-cuff red carpet quips, the Life of Pablo singer broke a cardinal rule of parenting last night, and told the whole world that he actually has a favourite child.

We know, right? He's worse than us after ten too many vinos in the sun.

While being interviewed at last night's Met Gala in New York, attention turned from the couple's recent trip to Iceland to the pair's two children, North and Saint, and Kanye made a blunder which is bound to have had some serious repercussions when Kimye got home.

Taking cue from interviewer, Vogue’s André Leon Talley, who happened to call Saint 'his favourite, a cheeky-looking Kanye chimed in, agreeing: "MY favourite."

We know ladies, her actually went there.

So, even as late as yesterday, rumours were swirling that Rita Ora would bow out of this year's Met Gala following claims she and Beyoncé's husband had once had a thing on the side, but if the British star's recent snapshot is anything to go by, nothing could be further from the truth!

Proving that there's nothing but love between herself and Queen Bey, the X Factor judge snapchatted a shot of herself and the Drunk in Love singer, and OBVS the whole world is all over it this morning.

Looking super chill at one of the biggest events in the celebrity calendar, the supposed love rivals posed for a shot which Rita caption 'Family' followed by a heart emoji.

It had been a fairly tough week for Rita in the lead-up to the NYC bash as she was forced to address claims her and Jay Z's relationship has ever been less than professional on Twitter, writing: "I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false."

Even after shutting down the rumours and declaring her 'utmost respect' for the Lemonade singer, Rita was slammed by members of the public who accused her of overstepping the boundaries when it came to Queen Bey's other half.

If that snapshot doesn't prove she's definitely not Becky with the good hair, we don't know what will.

Briana Jungwirth, who recently gave birth to Louis Tomlinson's first son, was never going to get an easy time of it when it came to hardcore Directioners, but it looks like they're really unimpressed with her this time.

The young woman, who is no longer romantically involved with Louis, has been slammed by fans of the British band after she shared snapchat vids of baby Freddie having a day out at a music festival.

The videos have come in for serious criticism from fans, some of whom questioned why baby Freddie wasn't wearing noise excluding headphones while others raged over the lack of care given to the child while being carried by Briana's friend Olivia.

Slamming those involved, one 1D fan wrote: "The baby is being shaken and jostled so that Olivia can be the star of her own dance show. You don't shake a baby around like that."

Taking issue with the lack of headphones, she continued: "The music is so loud yet there is no concern for the baby's hearing and babies have a much higher sensitivity to sound."

"They have the baby in the sun and covered up with a towel. If the baby is that hot you should get out of the sun and put the baby in the stroller where there is a real sun shade."

For a star who seems as down-to-earth as Amy Schumer, it has come as a major surprise to her fans that she has decided to no longer take pictures when requested by members of the public.

Taking to Instagram this weekend, the Trainwreck actress admitted that a random passerby had terrified her when insisting he take her photograph on Saturday.

Uploading a shot of the man in question, 34-year-old Amy wrote: "This guy in front of his family just ran up next to me scared the shit out of me."

"Put a camera in my face. I asked him to stop and he said "No it's America and we paid for you" this was in front of his daughter. I was saying stop and no," she continued.

Raging over the incident, Amy slammed him, saying: "Great message to your kid. Yes legally you are allowed to take a picture of me. But I was asking you to stop and saying no."

"I will not take picture with people anymore and it's because of this dude in Greenville," she wrote in the irate message which has clocked up more than 24,000 likes since its upload.

Unfortunately for Amy however, not everyone is siding with the actress, with one Instagram user writing: "She wasn't scared she went back and cussed him out in front of his family…if someone was scared they wouldn't go back to the "scarey" person." (sic)

"This was very immature of Amy Schumer. And leave his daughter out of this. This post shows how weak you are to try and get revenge on a man and thus making his daughter, the girl who idolizes her dad above all, resent her father for doing exactly what she did to Kim and Kanye," wrote another.

"He respected her personal space. Her fame is fleeting anyways after she confirmed stole jokes from other comedians," he added.

Echoing their fellow Insta users, another of the star's followers posted: "You're a f*cking dumb lying b*tch. This guy has video proof and you still lie about it."

"Get off your high horse, bc you suck and aren't even funny. You're 15 mins will be up soon and you'll be begging for people to make you relevant again." (sic)

Ouch! We don't see a line being drawn under this one any time soon.

Look, we all know the Geordie Shore girls are partial to a little cosmetic enhancement, but it looks like Charlotte's latest transformation has done little to impress her millions of online followers.

Uploading a fairly creepy video to Instagram this afternoon, the Geordie lass came in for serious criticism from fans who think she's definitely gone too far in the surgery stakes.

Drawing attention to a pair of seriously pumped-up lips, the reality star posed for the camera and played with her hair in footage which hasn't won her much praise or flattery.

Wasting no time sharing their thoughts on the 25-year-old's latest facial enhancement, one fan of the professional party-girl wrote: "Your lips look like sausages."

"You ruined your face with all that surgery," wrote another while someone else added: "Sorry Charlotte but you looks like Michael Jackson." Ouch!

It wasn't all bad news for the always-hilarious Charlotte though as some fans defended the star's decision to go under the knife.

"Looking amazing. Don't mind the haters." encouraged one fan. "If you had normal lips they would be commenting saying where are your lips? If you want plastic surgery get it, it's your body you can change it if you want I think you look gorgeous."

Well, at least SOMEONE has her back, right?

Katie Price stunned fans and followers in recent weeks after appearing to support jailed footballer, Adam Johnson, who was charged with sexual offences against a 15-year-old girl, and now it seems even Johnson himself is dumbfounded by the star's interest in his case.

Recently supporting the footballer's intended legal proceedings, Katie tweeted: "What's wrong with a retrial good on anyone trying to defend themselves it's harsh to pick on @f10aye" (sic)

Despite being slammed by her followers for turning a blind eye to the severity of Johnson's charges and ultimate conviction, the former glamour model has now gone one step further and reportedly requested the disgraced sport star meet with her as preparation for an upcoming book.

Speaking to The Sun, a source told the newspaper: "Johnson was made aware of the letter this week but replied, 'I don't want anything to do with her.' He was made aware of the contents but he does not want to know."

Katie's fans aren't the only ones astounded by her interest in his case, with a source explaining that 28-year-old Johnson was put out by her attempts to reach out to him.

"He asked staff to send it back to her and explained he thought it was a bit weird and embarrassing that she is supporting him," they explained. "The letter mentions coming to visit him and she says it is for a book she is planning but he was not interested."

37-year-old Katie has continued to show her support for Johnson's sister Faye following her brother's sentencing, recently tweeting: "Stay strong as I know it's a difficult day for you."
