Lesley Cosgrave hails from Dublin and is the lovely face behind beauty and lifestyle blog, Bellinis and Blush.

The talented blogger loves to promote confidence as well as sharing all of her beauty tips and tricks. Check out Bellinis and Blush for the inside track on all things beauty and life, from food to fashion and everything in between!

We had a chat with Lesley and put some tough questions to her – which she nailed! She even let us peek inside her make-up bag – check it out!

1. What's your best budget beauty buy?
I’m a huge fan of Rimmel foundations, in particular the Wake Me Up and Lasting Finish range. Lasting Finish is perfect for both day and night and it does what it says on the tin, it lasts! A huge thing for me as I tend to not touch up my make up during the day. Both excellent products and super affordable! Special mention goes to Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks, INCREDIBLE LASTING POWER! Great for a special occasion or a big night out.

2. What's your top make-up tip?
It’s all about that base! Commit yourself to a regular skin care routine and REMOVE YOUR MAKE UP BEFORE BED! Cannot stress that point enough. If your skin is in tip top condition, your make up will apply like a dream, look better and last longer.

3. Do you have a favourite all-round beauty product?
Ooh this is like Sophie’s Choice!! Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is a super all round product. I mostly use it as a primer make up base, but it does an amazing job as a mask and as a moisturiser. It really wakes up your skin, smells beautiful, feels fresh and invigorating and gives the illusion of a full night’s sleep. It’s not the cheapest product, but a little goes a long way. I usually get months out of a tube and I use it every single day. A close second is Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream, everyone should have a tube of this in their stash!

4. What's your earliest beauty memory?
My earliest beauty memory was watching my mother do her make up! She was so glamourous and always had her make up on, nails painted and hair perfectly coiffed after using her heated rollers. I always remember she would dot lipstick on her cheeks and blend with her fingers, in place of a traditional powder blush! Glammy Mammy she was, I believe my love of beauty stemmed from her.

5. Most girls have a signature scent – what's yours?
I have a ridiculous amount of perfume on rotation, I use them depending on my mood or the occasion. My go to fragrance would be Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh. It’s the perfect scent for both day and night. I’m a huge fan of really fresh, clean scents and this one never fails me.

6. What's in your make-up bag right now? Can we have a peek inside?
This is my regular everyday make up kit, but I do like to glam it up for nights out with darker eyes and a bold lip!

  • Define & Conquer Contour Kit from Seventeen
  • Doll Eye Mascara from NYX
  • Lasting Finish Foundation from Rimmel
  • Beauty Flash Balm from Clarins
  • Stay Matte But Not Flat Pressed powder from NYX
  • Fake Up Concealer from Benefit
  • Powder Blush from Chanel
  • Dandelion Lip Gloss from Benefit
  • Brow This Way Brow Gel from Rimmel
  • High Brow Highlighter from Benefit
  • Eye Booster Liquid Liner from Physicians Formula

Your Beauty, an Irish beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog written by the stunning Andreea from Bucharest, offers fantastic reviews of the latest products and an insight into the numerous beauty issues we've all been faced with, so if you're on the look-out for some top tips then be sure to check her out!

The lovely Andreea, who started her blog almost four years ago, chatted to us this week about her budget beauty buys, her Maybelline must-have and her essential eyebrow tool!

1. What is your best budget beauty buy?

I am a concealer junkie and after trying numerous high end products; Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Lancome etc, nothing compares to The Eraser from Maybelline. It’s the best! Never cakes, covers well and looks flawless.

2. What is your top make-up tip?

Apply your concealer after the foundation application, using the upside down triangle method. Using a fluffy eyeshadow brush blend it in with circular strokes. Finally, set it up with a fine translucent loose powder.

3. Most girls have a much-loved lipstick – what's yours?

This is so hard to narrow down! I love bold, vibrant colours and by looking at my collection, I seem to be attracted to different shades of coral. If I really had to choose one, you cant beat Mac Vegas Volt. A must-have!

4. What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?

My very first scent was Clinique Simply, I wore it for most of my teenage years. Sadly it was discontinued, but I still managed to track down a bottle on Ebay to keep for special occasions! Currently I switch between Marc Jacobs Daisy and Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue, both light and uplifting, which is great for early Monday mornings!

5. You're only allowed to use three make-up products for the rest of your life… what are they?

Eyebrow pencil, concealer and mascara. I could use the concealer to hide imperfections as well as an under eye brightener, whilst the mascara will help to make me look awake. Eyebrow pencil should be a basic human right, defined brows are a must!

Our beauty blogger of the week is the stunning Laura Finnegan of the fantastic beauty and lifestyle blog, Life, Laughs and Laura.

22-year-old Laura, who is a self-confessed beauty, fashion and fitness fanatic, eagerly shares her tips, advice and experiences with us, and we love her for it!

Life, Laughs and Laura is the perfect go-to guide for students or girls-on-a-budget as Laura knows all too well how important it is to be able to glam-up without breaking the bank.

The lovely Laura gave us a sneak peek into her make-up bag and revealed her personal faves and top tips.

1. What is your best budget beauty buy?

The new Essence Hello Autumn Eyeshadow Palette's. I have really oily eyelids and these are the only budget eyeshadows that will last all day on me. The colours are amazing too!

 2. What is your top make-up tip?

Less is more! We all get those days when you wake up with the biggest of all spots on your face, but the less concealer you use, the better coverage you get. It sounds unbelievable, but it is true! If you layer on the concealer it makes it more obvious that you are trying to hide something.

3. Most girls have a much-loved lipstick – what's yours?

My favourite is from Seventeen in the shade "Just a Fling". I always hated nude lipsticks as they drain me out, but this is just the perfect nude. It gives some much needed moisture to my lips too and it lasts really well.

4. What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?

My first Perfume was from So.., a brand I've actually rediscovered recently and am loving, but at the moment my favourite perfume is between the Ted Baker "Mia" and the Suddenly "Diamonds" from Lidl – a dead dupe for Hugo Boss.

5. You're only allowed to use three make-up products for the rest of your life… what are they?

Tough!! OK…

Revlon ColourStay Foundation as it covers everything!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder as I'm an oily skin gal.

L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara as I have the worst lashes in the world!

Our beauty blogger of the week is the beautiful Sinéad Kavanagh. Sinéad currently works in education so she describes herself as a "budding make-up artist with a work problem". You can see why we like her, right?

A self-confessed make-up and fashion addict, Sinéad decided to devote time to her passion when a health scare made her reevaluate certain aspects of her life. Thankfully, Sinéad has made a full recovery and is brightening up our weeks with make-up tips, video tutorials and product reviews in a down to earth, honest manner which we know you will all appreciate!

Including The Beautiful Truth in your round-up of beauty news and reviews is highly recommended, ladies.

What is your best budget beauty buy?

Without a shadow of a doubt, it would have to be the Wet n Wild Mega last lipsticks. These lipsticks pack a serious punch of colour, as well as being long lasting on the lips. They have a semi matte formula, but they still feel creamy on the lips. My favourite colours would be Spotlight Red, Bare It All and Mauve Outta Here. At €2.99 each, these lipsticks should be in everyone's makeup bag.

What is your top make-up tip?

Keep your eyebrows natural. I see far too many people with eyebrows that look like they have been applied with shoe polish. Eyebrows are there to frame and accentuate your face, not take over your face like to competing caterpillars. The Anastasia brow Wiz, is a fantastic eyebrow pencil for giving a defined, but natural brow.

Most girls have a much-loved lipstick – what's yours?

This is a hard question because I have so many lipsticks that I adore. I think it would have to be a throw up between Mac Ruby Woo and Smashbox Legendary. Both are blue toned reds, with Ruby Woo being a matte lipstick and Legendary being a really moist long lasting red. I think a red lipstick just makes everything look so much better.

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?

As a teenager, I wore Exclamation non stop. It was an awful sweet perfume that was a right of passage for many teenagers of my era. Now I have refined my taste in perfume a little bit and I am currently wearing YSL In Love again.

You're only allowed to use three make-up products for the rest of your life… what are they?

Oh God, the horror of having only 3 makeup products for the rest of my life! If I had to pick, it would be the Physicians formula 2 in 1 lash boosting eyeliner and serum. I actually can’t be without this liner, it is fantastic for creating the perfect winged liner. Second would be Make Up For Ever smoky extravagant mascara for creating super volumised and long lashes and finally it would have to be one of the above red lipsticks.

Our pick for top beauty blogger this week is the lovely Niamh Fitzsimons from LoveThis.ie. Self-proclaimed internet addict Niamh was born in Ireland but is currently living in Australia. Her blog originally started out as LovePR.ie and was a place to document her favourite marketing campaigns and PR stunts, but it has since blossomed into an amazing cross-continental beauty site!

We caught up with Niamh to find out her beauty secrets…

1. What is your best budget beauty buy?
My best budget beauty buy would have to be Essence lip liner pencils! They're so pigmented and really easy to use as they just glide on. Cheaper than chips too at less than a couple of euro.

2. What is your top make-up tip?
Blend, blend, blend. I cannot overestimate the importance of blending. Whether its blending your foundation into your neck so you don't have a tidal mark or blending your eyeshadow, it's just so important for a finished look.

3. Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
Oooh this is a hard one. I really love two – MAC's Ruby and L'Oreal's Caresse in Nude Ingenue.

4. What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
My very first perfume ever was Davidoff Cool Water which still reminds me of when I was about 13 and hanging out all summer long on the beach doing absolutely nothing with my friends. I'm going through phases of wearing Burberry and See by Chloe.

5. You're only allowed to use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation so I always have dewy-looking skin, Prestige Cosmetics Sun Baked Mineral Bronzer so I can have a nice golden glow and Maybellines' Define a Lash Lengthening Mascara.

You can follow Niamh's blog over at LoveThis, and she's also on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube!

La Belle Mama is an Award Winning Irish Beauty and Lifestyle Blog by Dee Doherty.  Having always been a fan of online Beauty Gurus, she decided to set up a blog of her own whilst on maternity leave.  What started as a way of keeping herself busy, turned into a passion which she says has taken her on a journey of learning, building self-confidence and making new friends…and that journey continues! We caught up with Dee to get all the best advice, check out what she had to tell us!

What is your best budget beauty buy?
Hands down, Collection Cosmetics' Lasting Perfection Concealer.  It's a cult classic at this stage, but if you do not have this already – you need it in your life!  My Mom uses it now too.  It doesn't matter your age or skin type – it's just PERFECTION…that lasts 😉

What is your top make-up tip?
Oh gosh! ONE top make-up tip?  That's a hard one!  I'm going to give my tip to create the illusion of fuller lips!  For the upper lip, dab a little bit of highlighter on your Cupid's Bow.  For the bottom lip, use a brown waterproof eyeliner and draw a tiny line just under the middle of the lip – this creates a "shadow" which immediately plumps the lip!  Then use gloss rather than a matte lippy!  Mmmwah!

Most girls have a much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
I actually DON'T love lipstick!  I prefer glosses, but my fave lip product is Soap & Glory's Mother Pucker in "Nudist".  I carry it with me everywhere.  It's a perfect nude and just makes my lips look pretty!

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
My first perfume was "Les Belles de Ricci" by Nina Ricci!  (I'm really showing my age here, haha!)  As for what I'm wearing now, it's coming back into the colder weather, so I've switched back to my winter favourite, Paco Rabanne's "Lady Million".  This perfume also holds a sentimental value for me, but you'll have to read the blog to find that one out 😉

You're only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Jeez!  How mean is this question?

#1 Concealer – because you can use it to cover a multitude of sins – blemishes, redness and just create the most beautiful version of your natural self.

#2 Mascara – because, well, we all love mascara!

#3 Blush – because it can just give your skin that "pick me up" that it needs.  You look happier, healthier and prettier!  (Even when you feel like poop)

This weeks’ beauty blogger is the lovely Rachael from Serene Siren, who is from Bangor in Northern Ireland where she lives with her husband, her step son and as she says herself: “our mini zoo of four cats, a tarantula, fish and underwater frogs!” So it’s safe to say she’s kept busy! Not too busy to tell us all about her favourite beauty products though – phew!

What is your best budget beauty buy?
This is an easy one for me. It has to be Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer. It is such a popular product and is so affordable; it only costs £4.19! It's a creamy consistency, blends beautifully and is medium to full coverage. Plus, it's often included in 3 for 2 deals, so there's no reason to say no!

What is your top make-up tip?
If, like me, you like the focus of any makeup look to be on your eyes but you struggle with blinking or getting your lines crisp and straight, I have the answer to your problems! When applying shadow and liner to your lid, always place your mirror lower than eye level. This means you're looking down, and you can see where you're placing your product (and how close to the lash line you are!) You also blink less! To get crisp lines for dramatic flicks, use some tape or sticky notes and gently place on your skin and use the edge as a guideline. It means your lines are straight and you have the sticky pad there to catch any fallout!

Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
I actually had to pull out all my lip products to decide this – you'll probably be surprised to know I only own 6 lip products… *hides* I know it's a pitiful amount but don't worry, I'm working on adding to that! But, my favourite is definitely MAC Sunny Seoul – slightly more expensive as it's higher end but it's so worth it! It's a beautiful creamy pink/coral with yellow undertones.

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
Perfume is something I have a love/hate relationship with. I go through phases of wearing it all the time and then not wearing it at all. I think my first perfume was a TommyGirl one but I honestly can't remember! My current favourite is Beyoncé's Heat.

You're only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Eyeliner! I'm currently loving Eyeko's skinny liquid eyeliner as it dries instantly and stays put all day. Perfect for a winged look. Next would have to be powder. As someone with oily skin, I like to have a matte finish so I definitely need a good setting powder. I personally like Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. And last but certainly not least, is mascara. I think it's one thing everyone feels naked without! I'm using Cosmetic A La Carte Divine Lash mascara and it's to die for; perfect volume and thickness!

Be sure to check out Rachael’s blog over at Serene Siren, or you can catch her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram too!

Jacqui Quail is a graphic designer by day, beauty blogger by night. Or evening. Or whenever she gets a chance really. She started her blog to justify her spending habits, and we’re very glad, because we love reading about all the latest products! We caught up with Jacqui and got some great make-up tips, which may actually result in our own spending habits needing quite a bit of justification aswell…

What is your best budget beauty buy?
There are so many to chose from! So many great budget foundations and makeup brushes, but the absolute best value product would have to go to Garnier Micellar Water. A great easy alternative to face wipes, much better for your skin and costs about a fiver!

What is your top make-up tip?
My best make-up advice would be to ditch the face wipes and invest in some proper skincare staples. Good makeup needs a nice base to work off – not flakey dry patches. A nice creamy/balm cleanser and a face cloth to use every night and morning and a decent exfoliant you can use three times a week is a good place to start. Your makeup will sit nicely, you'll feel more confident and you won't need as much coverage.

Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
I usually go for more of a nude lip. Nars always deliver when it comes to lip products, their Larger Than Life Lipgloss in Piree is always in my bag and their Tolede Lipstick is a rosy neutral that will flatter any skin tone. Lipstick Queen is also an amazing brand – Jungle Queen is the most perfect coral and the packaging is just gorgeous too!

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
My first perfume was B.U. – it came in a giant yellow can so you knew it was good. Quite musky if I remember correctly… My absolute favourite perfume at the moment is one I discovered this summer in New York. Elizabeth & James, Nirvana White is just the most overwhelmingly delicious fragrance. Unfortunately it's only sold in the States. Next time I'm over I'll be bringing home a years’ supply of the stuff – perfume crack.

You're only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Pffffff – I guess if I had to pick, the products that stand out would be Kevyn Aucoin's Celestial Powder – it has to be my most wow beauty product. It's a pressed highlighting powder that's so subtle and sheeny. It also instantly blurs any imperfections leaving you with the most airbrushed looking base. Erborian CC Creme HD is a super radiant base with great coverage. Great for making your complexion look flawless but still natural. And lastly Benefit They're Real Mascara is my absolute favourite! A nightmare to get off but gives great length and doesn't clump or budge!

Anne Marie (AKA Girl Friday) is a trained make-up artist who loves to blog – which is great for us because we get to read all her top tips! She says she’ll review just about anything, with 100% honesty, so we decided to catch up with Anne Marie to get some of her 100% honest advice:

What is your best budget beauty buy?
For make-up I have repeatedly sung the praises of Essence I <3 stage eye primer as I think it is better than the Urban Decay Primer Potion but at a fraction of the price. For skincare I am a massive fan of Ziaja which can be purchased from Originalbeauty.ie as their products are all very good and very affordable!

What is your top make-up tip?
That less is more – being CAKED in foundation is not a good look and go for either bold eyes or bold lip but not both!

Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what's yours?
I'm a massive fan of a red lip so Urban Decays F-Bomb is a favourite for that but if I want to go for something more understated New C-id Damson is a firm favourite.

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
I was the era of  'So..?' and Exclamation!!' perfumes. Currently I am loving Vanillary from Lush.co.uk or Beyonce Pulse

You're only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Skin 79 BB cream, Inglot eyeshadow palette and NYX lip butters.

Beauty blogger Michelle Phan is reportedly being sued for millions for copyright infringements.

The blogger, who made $5 million last year – we are definitely in the wrong job – is being sued by Ultra Records LLc and Ultra International Music Publishing LLC for using songs by the company’s artists in her video tutorials.

Michelle, who used songs by Deadmau5, Kaskade and Calvin Harris, faces paying damages of up to $150,000 for EACH song – which means she could face a bill worth millions!

However, Michelle is not taking this lying down. A statement issued by her team said: “Ultra’s lawsuit against Michelle Phan lacks any merit. Ultra agreed to allow Michelle to use the music and Michelle intends to fight this lawsuit and bring her own claims against Ultra. Michelle’s intention has always been to promote other artists, creating a platform for their work to be showcased to an international audience. Kaskade, whose music has been featured in Michelle’s videos, has publicly defended Michelle against Ultra’s claims and acknowledges the success he’s gained from her support.”

In fact, Kaskade, who’s music she used even offered her support saying: “I’m not suing @MichellePhan + @ultrarecords isn’t my lapdog. I can’t do much about the lawsuit except voice support for her.”

Wow, makes you think, doesn’t it?!

This week’s Beauty Blogger(s) of the Week are Kat and Rachelle from DollyRouge, a gorgeous Irish beauty and lifestyle blog with a little bit of a difference. Not only do they find products that give you the best bang for your buck, they understand the science behind the beauty and not the fluffy marketing stuff that is put there to make you buy things.

Not your typical beauty bloggers, Kat has a Degree in genetics from UCC and Rachelle is a sales executive, their mutual love for all things beauty was discovered one day at work.

SHEmazing! caught up with the girls to uncover their beauty secrets and tips:

What is your best budget beauty buy?
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. It outperforms even high-end brands and costs less than a tenner!

What is your top make-up tip?
Less is more. Instead of using a heavy coverage foundation, try a light base and use a concealer where it’s needed. Letting your skin show through looks much more natural and youthful. Heavy foundation settles into fine lines and wrinkles making you look much older.

Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what’s yours?
It has to be a classic red like MAC Russian Red. You can wear this colour no matter what your skin tone is and look incredible. Forget eyeshadow and blush, it’s all you need to dress up.

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
The first perfume that I bought out of my own pocket money was Exclamation! Gosh that brings back memories of teen discos and awkward crushes! I’m currently wearing Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge – a fabulous fresh, exotic summer scent.

You’re only allowed to use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
Concealer, lipstick and mascara. I can try sheer out the concealer a bit with moisturiser for a light foundation effect… is that cheating?? A pinky-rose lipstick will work on lips and on cheeks as a cream blush. And mascara is a MUST for wide awake eyes.

Check out DollyRouge and don’t forget  to follow the girls on Facebook, TwitterInstagram and YouTube.

Our Beauty Blogger of the week is Hannah Sayers from Love, Life and Makeup – a self-confessed small town girl who admits that she is “obsessed with all things make-up, beauty and fashion.”  Her 100% honest reviews make this blog a must follow for everyone, not just beauty fanatics. Not surprisingly, she has been put up for some pretty awesome awards like Finalist for Best Beauty Read in The Bops Awards Ireland 2014 and has featured on a number of popular websites and magazines including All The Buzz: Beauty and Lifestyle & Fashion, House of Fraser: The Blog and Frillseeker.

SHEmazing! caught up with  Hannah to get the 101 on her beauty secrets and tips:

What is your best budget beauty buy?
With all the hype around Balm Cleansers at the moment my best budget beauty buy is definitely The Body Shop’s Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. It is a thick balm which melts away make-up as you gently rub it onto the skin. I use a flannel to then remove the product which leaves my skin super soft.

What is your top make-up tip?
When applying a powder (whether loose or pressed) swirl your brush in the product and then instead of swiping it over the face, gently press it onto the skin. This way you are actually sealing in the foundation and ensuring longevity, as sometimes the dragging of the brush across the skin can actually remove some of the foundation.

Most girls have much-loved lipstick – what’s yours?
My much loved lipstick is MAC Creme Cup. It’s a beautiful pink toned nude which is amazing for everyday. It’s also versatile and long lasting enough to be teamed with a smokey eye for a night on the town.

What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?
My first ever perfume was one that has since been discontinued  (I did get it many years ago now) but it was a floral, very powdery smelling scent which is something I would now hate. It was in a pink bottle that had a gold flower on top of the lid. I now wear Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche. It is a really fresh smell and has more of a subtle floral scent.

You’re only allowed use three make-up products for the rest of your life – what are they?
They would probably be concealer, mascara and a highlighter. I would choose MAC’s Pro-longwear concealer as it has a amazing coverage and you probably wouldn’t need a foundation. I would also pick up a mascara as I always think I look like a boy without it! Benefit’s They’re Real is my favourite at the moment as I think it has the most amazing formula. Lastly, I would choose a highlighter that I could use as a multi-purpose product (e.g I would use it as it was intended but also as a eye shadow etc…) I love MAC’s Mineralise Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle, however if I was really smart I could have purchased something like Sleek’s Face Form which is one product that includes a contour and highlight and a blush.
