‘Michelle for President’: THIS speech blew Trump out of the water

The shock of Donald Trump’s now infamous comments about the sexual harassment of women left Michelle Obama ‘shaken to her core’ – but she has just served up the perfect response.

The First Lady has been lauded today, after delivering an empowering and emotive speech, warning voters over the dangers of lending their support to Donald Trump in next month’s election.

Appearing at a rally in New Hampshire, as part of candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign, Michelle addressed ‘a rough week in an already rough election’.

Tying her speech in with International Day of the Girl, Michelle lamented over Trump’s ‘hateful, hurtful’ rhetoric – and, of course, the lewd revelations from the recently uncovered footage.

“In this election, we have a candidate for President of the United States who, over the course of his lifetime and the course of this campaign, has said things about women that are so shocking, so demeaning that I simply will not repeat anything here today,” she said.

Clearly still feeling the impact of the ‘Trump Tapes’, the mum-of-two added: "I can't believe I'm saying a candidate for president of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women.”

In a rallying cry to men and women at the rally and all over the US, FLOTUS called out Trump and his behaviour for exactly what it is.

“Enough is enough, this has got to stop right now…This is not normal. This is not politics as usual…This isn’t about politics, it’s about basic human decency,” she said.

Throwing her support behind Hillary Clinton, she added: “We need someone who is a uniting force in this country, who will heal the wounds that divide us. Someone who truly cares about us and our children, someone with strength and compassion to lead forward…I believe with all my heart that Hillary Clinton will be that president.”

Michelle’s powerful speech has been praised all over the world, with some claiming that it may have even dealt one of the biggest blows to Trump’s campaign.

Michelle, you absolute queen.
