Calvin Harris had THIS to say about his break-up with Taylor Swift

It’s been a hectic few days in Hollywood but few people have been the centre of as much speculation as singer Taylor Swift and her recent ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.

Since the news broke earlier this week that the pair have ended their 15 month relationship, multiple theories have surfaced online attempting to explain what could have happened between the pair.

But the Scottish DJ took to Twitter last night to put those rumours to bed, writing: “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.”  Awh!

The tweet was then retweeted by Taylor herself.

Multiple sources have told E! News that the former couple’s relationship had lost its spark and that their breakup didn’t come as any big surprise to those close to the stars.

One said: “Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them.  Adam is the one that ended it.  It was all done in a very mature fashion.”

Taylor – who is said to be “pretty upset” about the breakup – has turned newly single BFF Gigi Hadid for comfort.

At least the girls will always have each other.
