As well as being a supportive husband, smitten father and all round gorgeous man, David Beckham is just a genuinely lovely guy.

At least that's what we've concluded after hearing about the sweet gesture David made toward a total stranger on the street in London this week.

Cycle-paramedic Catherine Maynard was helping a pensioner who had fallen on the street  when she noticed a passer-by who looked very familiar.

"I was waiting with my patient for an ambulance to transfer him to hospital and although I was keeping him warm it was very cold outside,” she explained.

"All of a sudden, I looked up and saw someone who looked like David Beckham walking past us.

"He said hello and got in his car… Ten minutes later, he came back with a cup of coffee for me and a tea for the patient."

"We were both very amused, and flattered," says Catherine of her reaction.

"It was awful cycling around in the cold and I couldn't believe it when he came back with some hot drinks – I was so chuffed."

Too cute. Catherine's employer, The London Ambulance Service has praised David for his sweet gesture, and is encouraging others to make their own random acts of kindness á la Mr. Beckham.

When Ellie Farnfield came around to find herself in a strange train station with  no memory of what had happened, she was no doubt a little panicked.

But thanks to one note from a fellow commuter, Ellie was able to put the pieces together.

The 27-year-old had suffered a seizure on a commuter train to London while en route to work. While her mystery helper couldn't stay to introduce himself properly, he did leave a note – which Ellie has shared on Facebook in an attempt to find him.

"Hi Eleanor. I hope by the time you read this you are feeling better. You had a seizure on the train and I took you off," read Tom's note.

"You didn't hit your head but I may have hurt your leg as I walked on it before realising you were on the floor having a fit! Sorry!

"I'm also sorry I can't stay with you now but here is a coffee to perk you up later and £10 to make sure you get a taxi home.

"Sorry I don't have any more money so I hope you don't live far away. I've contacted people from your phone and medical help is on its way and you're with train staff.

"Wishing you all the best and a quick recovery. Love Tom."

Speaking to Mail Online, Ellie, who has suffered seizures before, said she was touched by Tom's gesture of kindness.

"I was very confused. Then I saw the note and the money and felt quite emotional – it was such a thoughtful thing to do," she said.

Ellie's #FindTrainTom post has been shared over 1,300 times in the last 36 hours, but there's no sign of Tom just yet.
