The famous mum rarely makes a style slip-up these days, but rewind five years and her fashion sense wasn't always so on point.

Long before Kanye, Olivier Rousteing and Roberto Cavalli stepped in, Kim was the master of her own wardrobe, and the results were VERY hit and miss.

Here's a look back at our favourite reality star through the years…

2006
The 2006-era Kim was recognisable by her penchant for bleached denim and all things ruched. Oh, and tiny handbags.

Kim whipped out the big guns for this formal look: shoes with ankle bow-ties. And of course, a tiny handbag.

 

2007
A year on, and Kim really came into her own as the queen of questionable style choices. That gold chain is a delight.

A Minion costume? Nope, it's just the Kim K 2008 Red Carpet Look.

And the hair was big. Always big.

Who DIDN'T love the tunic and leggings look at that time, to be fair?

Finally, Kanye got his claws into Kim's wardrobe – and introduced her to the wonders of Balmain.

Kim's first pregnancy and red carpet events did NOT mix well. Case in point: this floral number.

Basically the year Kim reached Peak Kim. Crop tops, skintight looks and lots of boobage.

A team of stylists and Kanye's input meant the reality star can basically do no wrong in the style stakes.

She's even handling her second pregnancy like a pro!
