One of Dublin’s best cinemas is hosting a Christmas season and I will be spending most of December there with a giant bucket of popcorn and a never-ending list of Christmas movies to watch.

The Lighthouse Cinema Dublin revealed their Naughty or Nice season today and they’ll be showing a heap of classic flicks over the holiday period.

Get ready to watch your most beloved Christmas movies on the big screen because they’re showing everything from Elf to Die Hard.

You can watch Hugh Grant shimmy around in Love Actually or shudder at Donald Trump’s cameo in Home Alone 2.

This year’s Naughty or Nice season is extra special because the Lighthouse Cinema has teamed up with Sing Along Social for The Muppet Christmas Carol Singalong

They’ll be hosting a screening of the classic family film followed by a festive sing-song and perhaps some dancing if you’re feeling uber jolly.

There’s so much to choose from and something for every age from December 1, every day until December 23.

Nothing heralds the arrival of the festive season quite like cosy jammies and classic Christmas movies.

It's a tradition that most of us have carried with us from childhood, and this year we'll get to experience it on an unprecedented scale.

Following the success of last year's Halloween and Christmas events, Retro Drive-in Movies are hosting Ireland's first ever 'Pjs and Pillows' screening.

The world's biggest outdoor LED Screen will take its place in Leopardstown Racecourse, for what promises to be the ultimate Christmas movie experience.

Event-goers are invited to put on their favourite PJs and pack their cars with their most comfortable pillows and blankets before settling in for an exclusive screening of some of Ireland's most-loved festive films – including Home Alone, Elf and Santa Claus – The Movie.

There will also be burgers, hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, donuts and hot chocolate available on site.

This family friendly event will run from December 8 – December 10. Tickets are priced at €28 per car, and are available to purchase here.

But make sure to get in quick – this event is sure to be a sell out!

Elf always has been one of our favourite Christmas movies… until now, that is.

After clapping eyes on a sinister version of the film on YouTube, we can't help but look at the 2003 classic in a whole new light.

And we're not the only ones.

The footage, which has racked up over 4,000,000 views since its upload in recent days, has some left members of the public feeling every so slightly creeped out.

"OK, that was terrifying," wrote one while another added: "I'll have nightmares now."

With a little slick editing, Cinefix have managed to manipulate this holiday classic into a film we definitely wouldn't want to watch by ourselves.

Take a look at this, ladies.
