celebrity split

YouTubers Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman have announced that they are splitting after 12 years together.

The Internet stars confirmed they were going their separate ways in individual statements on their personal Instagram accounts.

Tanya revealed that they made the decision numerous weeks ago. She wrote: “Just wanted to let you all know that a few weeks ago Jim and I made the painful decision to no longer be together.

“We have a huge amount of love and respect for each other and will continue to remain friends forever. Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”

Jim added: “After twelve incredible years, Tan and I have decided to go our separate ways. We’re still absolutely the best of friends and have nothing but love and respect for each other.”

He continued: “We will continue to support one another in all our ventures and are both looking forward to what the future holds.”

Jim and Tanya first started dating in 2007. Jim popped the question in December 2012 and the pair tied the knot in the September of 2015 at Babington House in Somerset.

Fans had been speculating about Jim and Tanya’s relationship status for quite some time as the pair have been spending less time together.

They had not shared photos of one another on social media since the Winter.

Tanya has been busy focusing on her acting career and has been spending quite a lot of time in LA. Fans believe the distance may be the reason for the couple’s split, but Jim and Tanya have yet to share the reason for their separation.

Lily Allen is a single lady.

The singer made the revelation on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast.

In fact, Lily and Meridian Dan called time on their three year relationship in December.

The split marked a new beginning for Lily as it has been years since she has had to go it solo.

“I’m single, for the first time since I was about 15. We’ve been broken up for about three weeks," Lily revealed.

“It’s just been bad news after bad news after bad news and I think that fact that I haven’t called him and been like, ‘Hey, wanna come around for a cuddle?’ means that it’s big for me, because ordinarily, when things get difficult, I do need to have somebody around to share those problems.”

“So the fact that I’m dealing with it all on my own, I’m growing up,” she added.

Meanwhile, her ex, grime artist Meridian Dan took to Instagram to confess that 2018 hasn't been his finest year.

Underneath a picture of him chilled on a sofa, he wrote: “Like many 2018 wasn’t my best one but towards the end of it I stopped trying and started sowing a few seeds that are going to come to life later this year."

We wish them both well for the coming year.

The Saturdays singer Una Healy has opened up about her devastating split from her husband of over six years, Ben Foden.

In an interview with HELLO, Healy says that she's trying to remain positive, despite her life being "turned upside down," and is focusing on being a mum to her two young children, six-year-old Aoife and three-year-old son Tadhg.

"My life has been turned upside down," she said. "I’m taking each day as it comes and just being there for my children."

Since news of their separation emerged, Healy hasn't spoken of the reasons for it (though it reportedly is due to Foden being unfaithful), but now says she's trying to make the best of what is a turbulent situation, channelling her energies into her family and songwriting.

She's also opted for a more visual change, and dyed her auburn hair blonde. Channelling SJP in a moving-on-from-Mr-Big kinda way or simply wanting a different look, the timing surely isn't incidental.

"I’ve had the same colour hair forever and just fancied a change," she said.

The 36-year-old says the support she's received from family, friends and fans has helped her push through and refocus – the couple were due to move their family to New York so that Foden could take up a new job with Rugby United when news of a 'scandal' was reported and he flew to New York solo while Una returned to her native Tipperary.

"They’ve been rallying around when times are tough," she continued. "I’ve been sent letters that are really supportive, too. "Life is tough, but you’ve got to keep a positive attitude. Time is a healer as well. Someone told me: 'Don’t look back; you’re not going that way.' These words inspire me, as does the famous quote of Winston Churchill: 'If you’re going through hell, keep going.'"

Her focus now, she says, is firmly on her family and children, who she says, she's incredibly lucky to have.

"I'm so lucky to have them," she says. "I never feel lonely or alone. They’re lovely company and have brought joy into my life. The most important job for me is to be the best parent I can and to provide and look after them. They’re my priority."

This morning we reported that singers Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have called time on their relationship, and now it seems that another couple has called it quits.

It has been revealed that Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey and his wife of 15 years, Jillian Fink, are filing for divorce.

In a statement released to Us Weekly, Dempsey – known for his role as Derek ‘McDreamy’ Shepherd – said: “It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage.”

The couple, who are parents to 12-year-old Tallulah and seven-year-old twins Sullivan and Darby, added: “Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”

While the couple do not have a prenup, it is understood that Fink is looking for spousal support from Dempsey.

This is very sad news for the couple and their children.

It’s been a bad week for celebrity splits, and now we can add singers Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams to the list of casualties.

The couple, who have been married for five years, announced this weekend that they are calling time on their relationship.

In a joint statement, the couple told MailOnline: “Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”

Mandy has reportedly now filed for divorce from the musician, just weeks before their sixth wedding anniversary, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple started dating back in 2008, before going on to get engaged and tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Georgia a year later.

Sad news for the couple, but it’s comforting to hear that they are still on good terms.
