The stars were out in force for the Met Gala last night, whose theme Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons honoured the iconic designer in the best way.

'Rei Kawakubo is one of the most important and influential designers of the past forty years,' the Costume Institute’s curator Andrew Bolton told Vogue.

'By inviting us to rethink fashion as a site of constant creation, recreation, and hybridity, she has defined the aesthetics of our time.'

Unlike most years, many celebrities did not focus their looks on the theme, so there was a major mix of ensembles on the night.

There is something about Lauren Conrad’s hair that leaves us feeling slightly jealous – well, it is perfect all the time!

Thankfully, the former The Hills star shared a video tutorial on her blog, so now everyone can have her gorgeous curls!

While some of the techniques Lauren uses look a little tricky and ridiculous (if we are being honest) she makes it seem so effortless and easy, that we just can’t resist copying the look.

Now all we need is her blonde hair, California glow and uber-chic style and we could be twins!
