Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper set to star in iconic film A Star Is Born
Lady Gaga takes the lead in Bradley Cooper's brand new remake of A Star is Born, and will be ditching her stage name to be credited as Stefani Germanotta.
Following in the footsteps of icons Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand, the film follows the story of two musical stars, one who's fame is waning as the other propels to stardom.
The blonde star took to Instagram to share one of the first snaps of the new project.
"I am so excited to star in my first movie alongside someone I'm so lucky to call my friend," Gaga gushed.
"I always wanted to be an actress on the big screen."
"The story of A Star is Born is so special and I'm so grateful to Bradley for making my dream come true. Can't wait for you to meet Ally."
Bradley Cooper's character Jackson Maine, a fading country music star, discovers Ally, and must learn to come to terms with the fact that her fame will greatly outshine his.
We're dying to see this new flick, which has an intended release date of September 28, 2018.
