What a good boy! Ed Sheeran is SPOILING his parents this Xmas

Judging from Ed Sheeran's music video for Photograph, it looks like he had a pretty great childhood. 

And it seems the successful pop star is planning to really treat his family this Christmas as he shells out 100,000 euro on a new apartment for his lucky parents. 

And the best part? The new pad is just across the road from Ed's own North London home. 

"They already have a house. I got them a flat and a car in London so they can stay there. It’s opposite me as well."

Speaking to the Sun, Ed admitted he wanted to be able to stay in close contact with his family. 

"My thing is, I bought a house about a mile away from them where we live in a countryside, and I bought a flat and a house pretty much opposite each other in London."

But it seems that it's not just staying close to family that encouraged Ed to treat his parents to a new pad. He is actually thinking ahead.

"So when I have kids, when they start getting a little bit irritating, I've got the grandparents right there."

Handy! We bet Ed's parents are not complaining.
