Today is a VERY happy 52nd birthday for Johnny Depp…

Happy birthday, Johnny Depp! Today he turns 52… and the actor is marking the occasion by celebrating with his 29-year-old wife. 

Incidentally, Amber Heard herself has a milestone to mark: namely her Elle magazine cover.

Gracing the July edition, she is sporting a skin tight white Thalepo one piece paired with a Ralph Lauren Collection wool jacket.

In the accompany interview, the Magic Mike XXL star speaks about the lack of decent roles for women in Hollywood as well as what life is like with her famous husband.

The actress goes on to say that despite being given “a stack of scripts” every month, she doesn’t see many roles for females that have any real depth.

Amber explains: “It seems to me a deeply saddening injustice that we are so uncreative and uninterested in developing representations of female life." In short, it seems she’s tired of playing supporting female roles for male leads.

She also comments on her fear of losing her freedom because of her fame stating: “I never want for my life to lose the ability to transverse the world, with freedom and ease.”

Which makes sense considering no matter where they go, there is an immense about of interest in her husband.

Speaking of Mr Depp, Amber says there's been no "dramatic change” since they married in February and that she feels taking the plunge was a “fairly organic process”.
