Evan Rachel Woods has been sued by the producers of the 10 Things I Hate About You sequel, entitled 10 Things I Hate About Life, after she backed out of the film.

The actress is said to have been paid $300,000 for being cast as the lead in the film, which apparently shut down production in January 2013. However, when they resumed production in November 2013 Woods decided it wasn’t for her and turned the role down.

Woods rep said the lawsuit is a “bullying tactic from financially troubled producers”. According to him, the actress never got paid the money she was owed, and it was the producers who breached the contract.

Eek! Sequels can be a risky business but this one sounds particularly doomed!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is getting a sequel.

The original 2002 movie starred Nia Vardalos and John Corbett aka Aidan from Sex and the City.

They will both be returning for the new release.

Nia is also set to write and direct the movie.

The original movie saw a young Greek woman fall for a non-Greek, who her family initially struggled to accept.

This time around the over-bearing Portokalos family will come together after a major secret is revealed. There will also be another wedding – this time even bigger than the first.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding was one of the most successful independent movies of all time.

Nia said that promoting the tenth anniversary of the picture had got her thinking about an on-screen reunion with John, who was desperate for the project to take place.

“When John and I recently sat down to do that interview, we laughed so hard through the whole thing. It made me think that it’s time,” she said.

Paul Walker’s big screen legacy will live on with the help of his beloved brothers.

The late actor’s brothers are helping to “fill in small gaps” in Fast & Furious 7 action sequences not finished before the actor’s death, producers said yesterday.

Walker died in a car crash during a break in filming last November, forcing a halt to production.

“We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film,” producers wrote to fans in a Facebook post.

The decision to resume filming was “the only choice,” the statement said. “We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that, too.”

“We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our ‘Fast’ family,” the post said. “Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us, too.”

The movie was to have been released this summer, but Universal pushed it back to a U.S. release of April 10th, 2015.

“This film is the most important we’ve ever done together,” the post said. “It will allow the character of Brian O’Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role.”

Walker’s character is a staple of the long-running film franchise.

Directed by James Wan, it also stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham.
