This week, Amanda Bynes broke the internet in an entoirely wholesome way thanks to a cover shoot and interview with Paper magazine.

The 00s film icon and teen sensation marked her return to the public eye with an interview that perfectly expressed her contentment with her life now, without the drug use that led to her memorable Twitter 'break down' in 2013.

As well as offering fans hours of entertainment during her career, through Tv shows like All That and The Amanda Show, the young actress also brought to our screens an iconic heart throb we still love today.

Speaking to Paper, Amanda revealed that she really wanted Channing Tatum to star in She's The Man, alongside her over a decade ago, knowing that he would be perfect for the role.

Revealing that she basically launched Tatum’s career, she said: 'I totally fought for Channing [to get cast in] that movie because he wasn't famous yet.'

'He'd just done a Mountain Dew commercial and I was like, 'This guy's a star—every girl will love him!'

'But [the producers] were like, 'He's so much older than all of you!' And I was like, 'It doesn't matter! Trust me!'"

Channing Tatum just responded to the revelation, in a chat with Entertainment Tonight.

He said: I love her'

'I guess she sort of told me [that she fought to get me in the movie]…I love her and I just hope she's doing well.'

We all hope that Amanda is doing well – and from the amazing accomplishments she has made in the past few years, it's safe to say she truly is.

If recent activity is anything to go by, naked celebs hugging pigs could become the latest trend (hey, more bizarre things have happened in Hollywood).

Fresh from her own porcine embrace on the cover of Paper magazine, Miley Cyrus evidently wants to get a few more A-listers in on the act.

And until she can actually persuade her pals to take the plunge, she's taken to Photoshop instead.

First up? None-other than Justin Bieber, whose face she has placed onto her own body. As you do.

The original cover-shoot showed 22-year-old Miley’s naked torso covered in dirt, her arms holding on tight to her beloved pet, Bubba Sue. And now with Mr Bieber's head replacing hers, we can safely say that in response we're both horrified and intrigued.

Meanwhile, in Paper's accompanying interview, Ms Cyrus candidly discusses her own sexuality, as well as social issues such as homelessness, inequality, and gender identities.

“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age,” revealed Ms Cyrus.

Miley with on/off again boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger

“Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult – anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me… I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.”

It's no wonder the magazine labelled her "her generation's most unlikely social activist".

We wonder which celebrity face the former Disney star will opt for next time? If she's stuck for ideas, we think her on/off again beau, Patrick Schwarzenegger, could actually be rather fetching.

Everyone needs to step aside because Miley Cyrus’ new Paper magazine cover just got really strange.

Shy isn’t exactly the word we think of when someone says Miley Cyrus, or quiet for that matter. Miley’s out there persona and downright ridiculous past-times had been tabloid gold for much of 2014.

It seemed like every single stop on her Bangerz tour came complete with one sensational headline after another.

Despite her history of social media shocks, the star has been keeping a relatively low-profile in recent times. Well, as much as someone who straddles giant hot dogs can stay out of the spotlight.

It’s no surprise the outspoken star has opted to go for a buzz-inducing cover as she poses with pet pig Bubba Sue.

The story will be on newsstands later this month, and Miley is using the press to bring positive attention to her Happy Hippie Foundation to help homeless and LGBT young people.

Since opening up about her sexuality in an interview earlier this year Miley has been identified as a powerful advocate for LGBT youth and has said about her own personal life that “there are times in my life where I've had boyfriends or girlfriends.

“And there are times where I just love being with myself and don't want to give part of myself away to someone else.”

Being herself is certainly nothing to new to the singer who has never shied away from flaunting her risqué style or her unusual Instagram snaps.

Shifting the limelight from her seemingly endless list of possible love interests seems pretty easy when you’re Miley, as in the run up to the big reveal for her cover she posted a photo of her wearing a pig mask that has almost 300,000 likes on Instagram in less than 24-hours.

Keeping the insane photo trend going strong, the shoot for Paper included a glass pyramid, body paint and hardly any clothing. Miley is quoted as saying in the story that "I was doing a show two nights ago…. and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings.

“I'm standing there with my tits out, dressed like a butterfly.”

Standard Miley behaviour then.
