never have i ever

If anyone can get her guests to open up and spill the tea, it's Ellen DeGeneres.

And while her effortless charm and open nature certainly contribute to her guests' candour, a little game called Never Have I Ever has its merits too.

With P!nk and Reese Witherspoon as the latest victims of the quickfire quiz normally reserved for pre-club drinking sessions, Ellen got the two A-listers to open up about everything from public sex to the trust they have in their partners.

And it turns out that when it comes to snooping through a significant other's phone, P!nk is as guilty as  – ahem – the rest of us.

"All the time!" P!nk revealed. "I'm pretty sure he know though. The code changes alot."

For this and more of P!nk and Reese's exploits, we invite you to settle down for the latest version of Ellen's Never Have I Ever…

If you wants the goods on a celebrity, you watch Ellen, and if you really want the goods, you watch her Never Have I Ever segment.

Lobbing intimate questions at her A-list guests, Ellen is a pro at getting them to spill the deets, and her latest one with Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg and Anna Kendrick was no different.

But while Twitter is in meltdown that domestic goddess, Martha, has sexted and lived it up at a nudist beach, personally we think Snoop was the unsung hero of that segment.

From happily revealing he's returned items to a store after wearing them – "Those shoes were hurting my feet!" – to admitting he's used his fame to get out of trouble – "Oh boy!" – the rapper definitely hasn't been given enough props in the Twitosphere.

Thankfully, it looks like the studio audience is with us on this one.

We saw an amazing Never Have I Ever game played with the boyos of One Direction on the Ellen DeGeneres show, but pairing up Rihanna with a clearly bemused George Clooney was a great call.

While George is out promoting his new Coen brothers film, Hail, Caesar!, Rihanna is also on the promotional bandwagon as she garners publicity for her new album ANTI.

And what better way to promote their various projects with a combined game of Never Have I Ever.

With questions such as "Never have I ever texted a nude selfie" and "Never have I ever hooked up with someone over 50", Ellen was certainly not holding back on the question front.

Later on in the show, George spoke about his marriage proposal to Amal.

"I plotted the whole thing out. I had the ring hidden behind her. I had music playing. Everything was planned out and I've cooked dinner. Usually she'll dress up, and now she's like, 'Maybe we'll just order in. And I go, 'No, no, no. I've made dinner,' " recalls the actor.

"Finally I blew out the candle and I said, 'I think the lighter's in the box behind you.' And she reaches around and she pulls out the box and I've got just the ring sitting in there and she pulls it out and she looks at it and she's like, 'It's a ring.'

"I got down on my knee and said, 'I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life without you.' And she kept looking at the ring and she was looking at me and she was like, 'Oh, my God,'"

"Finally I literally said, 'Look, I hope the answers yes, but I need an answer I'm 52 and I could throw out my hip pretty soon.' And she said, 'Oh, yes.' "

The fine men of One Direction featured on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Wednesday as part of their promotional tour for Made in the A.M., and Ellen, being the great woman that she is, decided to play Never Have I Ever with the group.

The boys initially felt some discomfort with the questions but soon settled into the game, and ended up revealing quite a lot.

For example, Liam is the only one who has never been skinny-dipping, while Niall admits to using Harry's toothbrush. But it was Harry who dropped the biggest bomb when he admitted to hooking up with a fan.

"I think mine's broken," he joked after he flipped his paddle to the "I Have" side. Ah, it's all out now, Harry!
