The body of a man was found during a search for a Canadian diver off Malin Head, Donegal, last night.

The man went missing during a deep-sea dive on Saturday.

His body was recovered at the wreck where he had been diving.

The man went on a chartered dive to explore the Pinto wreck, which is 65 metres below the surface.

After the divers got into difficulty, the Lough Swilly life boat was called to assistance.

This is the second body to be recovered in Donegal this week, after the remains of a missing hill walker were found in the Derryveagh Mountains.

It has been 10 years this month since Madeleine McCann, who would now be 14 years old, disappeared while on holidays with her family in Portugal.

Her parents Kate and Gerry McCann have posted an emotive message to the public to mark the moment.

Taking to the Official Find Madeleine Campaign Facebook page, her parents had this to say:

'Ten years- there's no easy way to say it, describe it, accept it.'

'I remember when Madeleine first disappeared I couldn’t even begin to consider anything in terms of years.'

'Shawn Hornbeck abducted and kept hidden for over four years, Natascha Kampusch for over eight years. I couldn't go there. And now here we are…Madeleine, our Madeleine- ten years.'

'Most days are similar to the rest – another day. May 3rd 2017 – another day. But ten years – a horrible marker of time, stolen time.'

'We are bracing ourselves for the next couple of weeks.'

'It's likely to be stressful and painful and more so given the rehashing of old 'stories', misinformation, half-truths and downright lies which will be doing the rounds in the newspapers, social media and 'special edition' TV programmes.'

The McCanns also expressed a feeling of hope for themselves and their family moving into the future.

'The two themes that seem most appropriate to me as we reach this ten year mark are perseverance and gratitude.'

'We will go on, try our hardest, never give up and make the best of the life we have.'

The police investigation into the disappearance of  Madeline McCann is ongoing.

A major search is under way off the west coast of Ireland after a Coast Guard helicopter with four crew members on board went missing.

The search is focused on the Mayo coastline in the Blacksod area.

Contact was lost with the helicopter at around 1am last night.

The team were out evacuating a crewman in need of medical attention on a UK fishing vessel, according to the Irish Times.

“Conditions are reasonable. It was a moonlit night last night so it wasn’t so bad. It’s daylight now, which makes it easier for them” Tony McNamara, a lifeboat operations manager in Achill told The Journal.

A number of helicopters and all-weather life boats are currently on the scene.

Following on from her disappearance, Irish singer Sinead O'Connor has been found safe after being missing for more than a day.

According to the BBC, Wilmette Police said she has been located, after they were "seeking to check the well-being" of her.

Police were alerted after she went on a bike ride at 6:00am on Sunday and never came back.

The local media in Chicago reports that Sinead has been staying with friends in a Chicago suburb for the past few weeks.

However, after the news broke that she was found safe, Sinead herself took to Facebook to rant – and honestly, it's a bit hard to even read (be warned, it has very strong language):

We're glad she's safe now, though.

We've all been there, you have a nice new pair of socks and after a few washes one of them magically disappears.

You might even have a pile in your room of odd socks that lost their sister socks. And for years we have all wondered, WHERE DO THEY GO?!

Sure, you might have dropped one on your way back from the dryer, but you would have come across it eventually, right?

Well… No. If this video is anything to go by, they got sucked up by a vortex, never to be seen again:

Missing socks

We just can't believe we never knew this after YEARS of losing socks.

There is fear for Amanda Bynes following her arrest for a DUI on Sunday.

According to TMZ, her parents, of who’s care she has been under for the past few months, have no idea where she is.

It has been reported that Amanda left her parent’s house once her conservatorship ended this month and may be getting herself into a similar spot of trouble she was in before her hospitalisation last July.

Amanda’s last tweet was back in May when she posted a photo of herself and her sister, writing: “Me and my beautiful sister.”

Though she still describes herself as a “Fashion Student” on the social media site, it is not known if she has continued her studies since her conservatorship ended.

We really hope Amanda receives any help she may need before things get as bad as they did last time for her!
