After revealing that Loose Women has lost two thirds of its original audience over the past couple of years, celebrity panelists Lisa Maxwell, Sherrie Hewson and singer Jamelia Davis are all under threat.

Former GMTV boss Martin Frizell was called in to save the long-running show, but only time will tell whether the viewing figures will rise.

According to a reliable source, “Martin is a massive hiring for the network and he will not fail at increasing the popularity of Loose Women. He will be starting with immediate effect and is working closely with Helen Warner [who originally launched the series] to make the show great again.”

The only presenters that will stay on the panel of this lunchtime chat show are Kaye Adams and Jane Moore, who both appeared on the show since it started in 1999.
