The Traitors Ireland is back for a third series, and Kite Entertainment is looking for players. Could that be you?

If you’ve spent the last two series screaming at your telly, convinced you’d have sniffed out the Traitors by day two, now is genuinely your chance to put that theory to the test. Casting is open for The Traitors Ireland Series 3, and the producers want applicants from all walks of life across the country.

Casting Producer Avril Reilly from Kite Entertainment confirmed they’re looking for “a great mix of people across different occupations, backgrounds, hobbies and age groups throughout Ireland.” So whether you’re a nurse from Galway, a retired schoolteacher from Kerry, a student in Dublin or somewhere delightfully in between — this is an open call.

What does it actually take?

That’s the thing — nobody really knows, and that’s sort of the point. The Traitors isn’t about physical challenges or singing ability. It’s about reading people, keeping your nerve and deciding in the moment whether the person sitting across from you at a candlelit dinner is your ally or the one plotting your downfall. It rewards the sharp, the calm and — let’s be honest — the slightly paranoid.

If your friends regularly accuse you of overthinking things or you have an unsettling ability to tell when someone’s lying, you might be exactly what they’re looking for.

Faithful or Traitor — which would you be?

This is the question that has divided friend groups and family WhatsApp chats since the show first aired. Most people are utterly convinced they’d be a brilliant Faithful, calmly gathering evidence and making sound, reasoned decisions at the roundtable. A suspiciously large number of those same people would probably be recruited as Traitors on day one.
