One major US fashion retailer was busy taking a trip around the Kingdom recently and now we are feeling a serious case of wanderlust overcome us.

A team from J. Crew were recently in Kerry for a fashion shoot for the brand’s latest collection and the images to come from the big day are beautiful.

Seriously, we’re packing our bags for a road trip right now.

Someone hand us our Aran jumpers and beanie hats because we feel the need for a fashionable camping adventure somewhere outside Dingle. The photos were actually taken three months ago, which explains why Storm Abigail didn’t wash away any of the attractive models.

"The weather was wild, it was like 10 seasons in a day," said production director, Tara. "It would be sprinkling rain, then suddenly cold and sunny."

Apparently the team even recruited a few of the local GAA players to appear in a few select shots. Fair play lads, any sample chunky knits to share with us?

As well as showing off the amazing scenery in Kerry, the J. Crew Instagram page also highlights places in the county to visit, and shares a guide to hotels and airports nearby.

"The landscape was so many shades of green. It was like a movie set," said art director Mark.

In a very unsurprising turn of events the production team also appear to have fallen in love with the locals.

"Everyone we met was so laid-back. And the view was just so lush, mossy, ferny, sheep dotted … very dramatic," she said. They were really feeling the love for the furry Kerry crew too it would seem: "Sheep were literally just walking down the middle of the road," Tara said of the experience.

We imagine both the sheep and any Kerry natives are feeling pretty cuffed at the moment.
