This little puppy, Bonsai, was born with a series of medical issues which now means he can only use his front legs to move himself around. 

Bonsai is an English bulldog who was born on April 17th in America and since seeing his pictures online, the world has completely fallen in love with him. 

The little guy was born with three major conditions that were feared would seriously effect his quality of life. He was born with half a spine, no functional pelvis and contracted hind legs. 

When Bonsai was born, his owners had no idea how to care for him, so they brought him to Friends of Emma, a rescue centre dealing with dogs with special needs. 

Following lots of visits with the vets, it was determined that Bonsai would have to have his hind legs amputated as they were so small and underdeveloped. 

But now, a few weeks later, the pup is recovering and doing extremely well. 

Bonsai has a facebook page set up to keep everyone up to date on his progress and where people can donate to help pay for his medical expenses. 

On his page, we were introduced to his amputee friend, Ransom, who he has met at his new home.
