BBMAs

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner blew up the internet a few days ago when they had a shotgun wedding in Vegas straight after the Billboard Music Awards.

Honestly, we were shook, but in a good way, like when your pet discovers a new cute pose and you need to show the world. Our hearts, they melted.

The 29-year-old Jonas Brother and member of DNCE tied the knot with the Game of Thrones star after getting Elvis to officiate their nuptials, and now Joe shared the first photo of his official wifey.

The photos were taken by Cynthia Parkhurst, and feature 23-year-old Turner standing with her back against a patterned tile wall (bathroom chic) and holding a red old-style telephone to her ear.

She's looking absolutely fierce, we wonder if she's muttering Game of Thrones spoilers down the phone to her BFFs?

Turner is wearing the same floral-metallic Louis Vuitton jumpsuit that she wore to the BBMAs, and her new husband rightfully captioned the shots; "Hot Damnnnnnnn" (Flame emoji). That's one lucky man.

The lad clearly adores his new bride, and the pair plan on having a bigger ceremony in France this summer. We are GAGGING to see photos of the GOT castmates at the event, but it better not be a Red Wedding.

The couple wed inside Chapel L'Amour, A Little White Wedding Chapel just after the awards show, where Sophie presented an award alongside Dark Phoenix co-star Tye Sheridan and Joe Jonas performed with his brothers.

A representative for Turner confirmed the news to PEOPLE, saying “We can confirm Sophie and Joe were married in Las Vegas last night.” YAY.

The pair apparently applied for a marriage licence earlier that same day in Clark County, Nevada.

Khalid was present at the ceremony, and Dan + Shay performed their hit tune, Speechless. Turner is allegedly changing her surname to Jonas, according to the marriage cert obtained by TMZ.

We love a good wedding, hopefully more images will emerge as the media furore dies down.

You okay there, Kelly?

Just hours after she hosted the Billboard Music Awards in Vegas for the second consecutive year, Clarkson underwent surgery to get her appendix removed, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The Broken & Beautiful singer tweeted a message to her fans confirming the news on Thursday, saying she had "broken down in tears after the show from pain" and was flown home the second the ceremony wrapped.

"Thanks to all the amazing people at Cedars-Sinai, I flew home directly after the event, nailed the surgery early this morning and feeling awesome now! Bye bye appendix," she wrote.

She shared that she underwent the procedure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles straight away on Thursday morning but is feeling great.

The woman has reinvented the phase, "The show must go on", after experiencing intense waves of appendicitis pain over the entire week.

Clarkson is returning to The Voice in just a few days for Monday’s live show, according to Entertainment Tonight, so she doesn't seem to rest easily.

The American Idol winner opened the BBMAs by singing a medley of songs nominated at the awards show, including Maroon 5's Girls Like You, The Middle by Zedd, J Balvin's I Like It and more. Her talk show is also premiering on NBC in September.

You never would have known that she was in such intense pain, how does she do it? We stan a badass queen.

Mariah Carey has been around for a long time; long enough for her kids to be singing her early noughties hits back to her as she wins an icon award.

Her twins, who she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon, were in the audience cheering her on as she sang a medley of hits like Hero, A No No, Always Be My Baby and We Belong Together.

Eight-year-old Monroe and Morrocan were clearly beaming with pride as their 48-year-old mum took home the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards last night.

The veteran singer received a toast worthy of a queen after Jennifer Hudson introduced the star onstage. Carey delivered a hilarious and emotional speech and didn't shy away from the bumps she's hit along the way'

“Icon? I really don’t think of myself in that way. I started making music out of a necessity- to survive and to express myself. I just wanted to create something so I could feel worthy of existing," she said.

"If I’ve learned anything, anything at all in this life, it’s that truly all things are possible with God."

"Without getting into all the drama, all the ups and downs of my career- We’ve all seen them; we all make mistakes; there’s been a few memes- I guess I’ve always felt like an outsider: someone who doesn’t quite belong anywhere," she continued.

She referenced her loneliness in the industry;

"I still feel like that lost, interracial child who had a lot of nerve to believe I can succeed at anything at all in this world. But, and this is the truth, I did believe because I had to."

As usual, the iconic star delivered more meme material, throwing a tissue into the crowd before her speech began;

"The truth is: I’ve dedicated my life to my music, my saving grace and to my fans, who are unlike any other entity that I’ve ever known. They’ve lifted me out of the depths of hell and brought me out with their devotion and love."

She earnestly thanked her fans and supporters for helping her through the tough times;

"I want to thank all the people who’ve been with me on this journey through the highs and lows, through the struggles –through your struggles and mine."

"To anybody who doesn’t allow themselves to be broken, and keeps getting up, and keeps holding on, and keeps standing tall, and keeps on believing, and keeps rising, I celebrate you tonight," she said, encouraging her followers to keep going.

"And to anyone who’s ever told me that a song I wrote helped save your life, I thank you because you saved mine, and I’ll be eternally grateful.”
