The ravages of time can be a cruel mistress for the Hollywood starlets desperately trying to preserve their youthful exuberance.

Still, it seems that Rachel Bilson – FOREVER Summer Roberts to us – isn't a mere mortal.

That's because, and close-to a decade after the The OC wrapped up (we're still not over it) she looks the exact same.

Indeed, while hitting a chic Target fashion event in New York with BFF and wife of Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan, Rachel looked all sorts of totally gorge.

Although the actress, now 34, maintains that she's decidedly low-key when it comes to a beauty routine since the birth of her daughter 18months ago.

Chatting to Allure magazine recently, she said: “In my own life, it’s a little bit of mascara, a little Chapstick, and I’m ready to go.

“Maybe I’ll add a little eyeliner in there to spice things up. Maybe a little bronzer.”

She added that her daughter, whom she and her long-term actor partner Hayden Christensen, 35, named Briar Rose, doesn't even recognise her is she's sporting a lot of slap.

“If I ever have anything on – like if I have mascara on – my daughter just stares at me for, like, five minutes: ‘Who are you?’ Ms Bilson laughed.

Demi Lovato has confessed that she was once told by producers to alter her appearance before she went on to make it big on the Disney Channel.

The 23-year-old star told Allure Magazine this week that she was told to fix the gap in her front teeth when she was just fifteen before being being cast in the smash movie Camp Rock alongside the Jonas Brothers.

"I signed with Disney Channel when I got Camp Rock, and I had a gap between my two front teeth.

"They were like, 'Would you be willing to fix it?' I wish today that I hadn't, because my gap was really cute."

Demi went on to have problems with bulimia and self harming before going to rehab in her early twenties.

"I realised I could help people. It creates a conversation — there's an opening for children themselves to actually come forward and say, 'This is what I'm dealing with.' Or 'I have a problem. I need help.' "

Despite going public with her issues, it has not been plain sailing for the Confident singer.

"I'll have people who are like, 'Stop talking about eating disorders. Like, we get it. You struggled. Now shut up.' "

"I [also] started wearing sexier stuff, and I got some hate for that — like, 'You've changed.' "

But Demi has certainly come to terms with her own body image as she posted a gorgeous full body selfie from the set of her Allure shoot.

"Posting a #nophotoshop pic because I'm proud to show my body the way it naturally is…" read the caption.

We think Demi has never looked healthier or happier.
