This man’s obituary is going viral… for one very simple reason
We love really love this guy.
An American newspaper has printed one of the most brilliantly simple and succinct obituaries that we have ever seen.
When Douglas Legler from North Dakota passed away, The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead newspaper printed a photo of Douglas along with the caption, “Doug Died.”

But don’t be feeling too bad for the guy – this was exactly what he wanted!
His daughter explained her father’s obituary to the paper. “He said over and over, when I die I want my obituary to just say ‘Doug Died,’. [Other people’s obituaries] would say ‘he was the president of this, a director of this’ and Dad would say, ‘What, he couldn’t hold down a job?’”
Doug died on 27 June. He was 85-years-old.
