Victoria Beckham teams up with Burberry for EXCITING new project

Burberry's CEO, Christopher Bailey may have worked alongside Romeo Beckham a couple of times, but now the main man teaming up with his mother, Victoria.

Yesterday, it was announced that Christopher and Victoria will become the first ever patrons of Graduate Fashion Week.

Graduate Fashion Week is the world’s leading event that celebrates the creativity of students and graduates within fashion.

It showcases the work of more than 1,000 students from colleges and universities all around the world and represents the future of creative design talent.

Christopher called his new role, “a true honour” and applauded the work at this year’s show in London.

"It is so important to support and mentor young people, and GFW provides an essential platform for them at this important time in their life," Victoria told Vogue.

"I'm delighted to be joining Christopher Bailey, working together on such a worthwhile project."

And although Mr Bailey was impressed by this year’s talent, he kept tight-lipped about hiring one of the students.

“What we look for more than anything is raw talent and an ability to challenge convention – we try to take those qualities and set them in a world in which they can be fully explored."
