Grammys, VMAs, American Music Awards, Billboard Awards… and now an Emmy.

Taylor Swift is going to need a separate room for all of her award statuettes at this rate, but she still finds time to get excited about each new win.

The singer was awarded a Creative Emmy on Saturday, but due to tour commitments had to celebrate in Texas rather than at the awards show itself. She didn't seem too bothered though, taking the opportunity to pose for countless selfies with her crew all day long.

"WHEN THEY OVERNIGHT YOU AN EMMY…. I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS A THING" she wrote on Twitter, posting a series of snaps of herself and the 1989 team with the iconic gold statuette.

"We have no chill. The Emmy has rendered us chill-less," she wrote alongside another snap on Instagram.

Taylor won the Best Original Interactive Program gong for her work on AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience, which allows fans to delve deeper into her music videos and find hidden details..

The program was first debuted in the Blank Space video, filmed using special 'immersive' 360-degree cameras.

Although the actual awards show took place on Saturday, news of Taylor's win emerged last Thursday, though she admitted she didn't believe it at first.

In a Twitter response to The Hollywood Reporter, who first broke the news, Taylor said she thought it was all a "prank" at first:

Humblebragging at its best right there. Wonder if an Oscar and a Tony will be next?

Taylor Swift debuted the hotly-anticipated video for Wildest Dreams at Sunday night's VMAs, but within hours it began attracting attention for all the wrong reasons.

The video, set against the backdrop of the African wilderness, shows a 1950s-era Taylor Swift falling in love with her co-star (Scott Eastwood) on the set of their fictional movie.

There's no denying that the video is beautifully shot and makes an amazing visual spectacle, but many critics have hit back at director Joseph Kahn for his inaccurate portrayal of colonial Africa. The fact that the video features an all-white cast aside from two black extras has certainly not gone down well with viewers.

"Even the most casual observer would have noticed that – for a clip that's set in Africa – it's about as white as a Sunday morning farmer's market. The video wants to have its old-school Hollywood romance but ends up eating some old-school Hollywood racism, too," wrote journalist Nico Lang.

Another critic, Viviane Rutabingwa from public radio station NPR, said Taylor's video presents a "glamorous version of the white colonial fantasy of Africa."

Africa's colonial era began in the late 1800s and didn't end until the 1980s, and its legacy still affects the country in many ways today. "Here are some facts for Swift and her team: Colonialism was neither romantic nor beautiful. It was exploitative and brutal," said Viviane.

Since Sunday, director Joseph Kahn has hit back on Twitter and in the media to say that the video's actual crew featured a number of people of colour… even if the video itself did not.

"The key creatives who worked on this video are people of colour. I am Asian American, the producer Jil Hardin is an African American woman, and the editor Chancler Haynes is an African American man," he said in a statement to Mail Online.

He defended the decision not to "load the crew with more black actors", saying he was reluctant to start "rewriting history."

As for Taylor, though she has not addressed the criticism on social media, it's worth noting that she chose to donate all of her proceeds from the video to the African Parks Foundation, an organisation which works to preserve the endangered animals of the continent.

They're officially the highest earning pairing in showbusiness – not to mention the hottest coupling of 2015: Taylor and Calvin; Calvin and Taylor.

We like to call them Taylvin – or perhaps, Caylor… we haven't quite decided yet.

Anyway, we were therefore somewhat taken aback to see Ms Swift canoodling with another man – especially when that other man is a rather strapping 6ft-tall actor and a member of a Hollywood-elite family.

Luckily, the intimate clinch in question is all for the camera: Staring Scott Eastwood (drool), Taylor has just released her Wildest Dreams video… and we LOVE it in a Lana Del Rey-kinda way.

Although, we also reckon it will make for some seriously uncomfortable viewing for a certain loved-up Scottish DJ: in it, 29-year-old Scott and Swifty, 25, do lots and lots of kissing, AND get all sorts of feisty on a bed and in a field.

Mamma mia!

You can check out the video below – it's already notched up close-to 10million views in less than 48hours.

The way we look at it, if you're Taylor Swift and have your EVERY move monitored by cameras, at one stage or another you're bound to get caught out doing something unsavoury like breaking wind or picking your nose.

That's just the law of probability. So when we saw this video of the singer making a VERY strange noise indeed while introducing her Wildest Dreams video live on TV at Sunday night's VMAs, we had to laugh.

Gathered round the red carpet camera with a gang of BFFs including Karlie Kloss Hailee Steinfeld, Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez, Taylor stayed cool despite the weird noise.

But despite her chilled reaction, fans soon began speculating about what had gone down.

Of course we can't say for sure whether poor Taylor let one rip or not, but she definitely appears to squat just before the noise, and looks either excited or guilty just after…

One of the greatest mysteries of the decade, surely.

MTV have since made a statement to say that the weird noise was actually due to a microphone fault, and not any kind of gassiness on Taylor's behalf.

"MTV can confirm that the sound heard in the moment Taylor Swift introduced her new music video, Wildest Dreams, was isolated to a production microphone. There was absolutely no possibility of it being Taylor or anyone in her party’s microphones picking up ambient sounds," they said last night.

Either way, we bet that's the last time Taylor chows down on burgers before heading on stage…
