mamma mia here we go again

There are so many things I ADORED about Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. The feel-good musical inspired by the music of ABBA was everything I wanted and more.

I was surprised by just how good the soundtrack was considering they sang most of ABBA's greatest hits in the original film. However, it's been a week since I first watched the movie and Cher’s version of Fernando is still stuck in my head.

One thing that really stood out for me (apart from young Bill aka the man of my dreams) was the young Donna’s style.

The main focus of the movie was young Donna’s journey from graduate to mum, but I couldn’t help but swoon over her outfits. Her quirky boho style was simple, but striking.

Obviously, we’d never get away with wearing outfits like Donna's here in Ireland- thanks rain- but I thought I’d gather up some of the nicest pieces inspired by young Donna.

Sure, it may not be sunny enough to rock these looks in reality, but you can wear them, stick on the soundtrack and pretend you’re frolocking around a Greek island in the 1970s.

Ten years ago, it was highly likely that the soundtrack of your summer included tracks like Dancing Queen, Lay All Your Love on Me and The Winner Takes It All.

A renewed fervour for ABBA's classic disco hits swept the globe upon the release of Mamma Mia back in 2008, and over the course of the last decade we've waited with bated breath for a sequel.

And thankfully, ladies, the wait is now over.

With each of the principal players from the original reprising their roles in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the sequel is set to be stand-out summer smash, and we're already excited.

If you simply can't wait until its release on July 20, why not take a sneak peek here?

Calling all dancing queens!

Earlier this year, Universal Studios confirmed the news we'd all been waiting for – a Mamma Mia! sequel was in the works.

Next year marks the 10th anniversary of the original film's release and what better way to celebrate the milestone than by doing it all over again?

Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth will all reprise their roles while Cher comes on board as a welcome addition to the star-studded cast.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is set to be released in Irish cinemas on July 20,2018 and you can watch the newly-trailer now:

Will feel an ABBA binge coming on…
