Ready to dive into this giant salad after spending a couple days indulging in all the food and drink while on a family trip to the coast. People always ask me how I stay healthy while I'm traveling. Here's the short answer: I usually travel with all my supplements, green powders, collagen, etc., and I definitely seek out places I can get my morning matcha, a green juice and a healthy grain bowl. But I also allow myself to indulge and enjoy without beating myself up over it or feeling guilty about it. It's important to give ourselves permission to experience a new place without feeling like we've failed if we drink a couple glasses of wine or eat a hot fudge sundae all to ourselves. Life is for living after all! And then when I get home and back into my routine, I'm even more grateful for the delicious, nourishing foods I make in my kitchen and the commitment I make to respecting my body in that way.
