cannabis oil

Let's get our facts straight about cannabidiol, first of all. The cannabusiness is positively booming, thanks to the high street fanfare over hemp-based beauty products.

What exactly is CBD? Cannabidiol is a purified, non-psychoacative compound harvest from the cannabis plant, and NO it can't get you high. It can, however, give those who suffer from psoriasis, eczema and acne another choice for solving their skin problems.

CBD collaborates with your body, according to Roby Zomer, CEO of MGC Derma. She spoke to Elle, saying that cannabidiol works with your body's internal endocannabinoid system to give relief from inflammation.

Beauty brands are now creating products which don't embody the stereotypes surrounding cannabis, and are treating CBD like any other beauty product.

Celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to Jennifer Aniston swear by CBD oil, and it's fast become part of a global new trend striving to promote wellness.

Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow told Into The Gloss;

"If I have a particularly stressful time, someone gave me some CBD oil in a little drop. It doesn't make you stoned or anything, just a little relaxed,

Holland & Barratt CBD day cream (50ml)
Price: €17.99, for over 18s only

CBD skincare is essentially just skincare infused with short cannabidiol, which is the LEGAL, non-psychotropic component of marijuana known for relieving aches and pains.

From offering you a chilled-out feeling to reducing inflammation, we see why the hype has been curated. It doesn't contain tetrahydrocannabinol, found in weed, which is why it can't give you a high.

CBD and THC are sourced from two different parts of the marijuana plant, so it's perfectly legal and safe to use CBD skincare.

Why the fuss? Well, CBD-infused skincare is believed to have the ability to aid acne issues and skin sensitivity due to it's anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.

It's also thought to act as an anti-ageing product due to it's antioxidant features. The Holland & Barratt moisturiser (day cream) has been getting absolutely RAVE reviews, and we had to suss it out.

The CBD day cream is carefully formulated to give you the best hemp seed oils for your skin. The 100 percent natural product is antioxidant rich and is suitable for all skin types, vegetarians and vegans.

Both the CBD and Hemp oils work together to help regulate the skin's oil production, which gives you the right balance for your skin type.

It's believed to slow down the ageing process, reducing free-radicals and allowing your skin to appear firm and healthy. It's intensive moisturisation has created a fan frenzy around it.

Use the moisturiser every day after cleansing, and it's best used in combination with the Holland and Barrett CBD Serum and CBD Night Cream.

Test out the day cream and see if you agree with the fantastic reviews, it may just become your must-have beauty item. You'll be a cannaboss in no time.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting baby number four very soon, and the KKW Beauty founder has had quite the niche celebration to mark her expanding family.

After accidentally unfollowing everyone on Instagram the other day, then snapping a snake-themed jewellery collection just as Taylor Swift released her new single (MASSIVE shade), now Kim has thrown a CBD-party.

That's right, you read that correctly. In an Instagram story, Kim revealed; "Yesterday I had my CBD baby shower! Thank you to everyone who celebrated baby #4 with us! It was just perfect!"

She continued, "Thank you @mindyweiss & your team! And @hellomd_com & your team for making it happen."

A source revealed to Us Weekly that the due date was "very early May," which would be in a matter of weeks, so Kim has invited her friends over for the slightly…unconventional… baby shower.

She also shared a series of images and video clips from the event, and told her celebrity guests, "So, because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD."

People magazine have claimed that her guests "took part in a sound bath" and were given blue Yeezy slides.

Never one to waste a marketing opportunity; "baby blue-coloured decorations were placed all around as well as a 'Name Game' board where many suggested unique monikers for baby West."

Guests and recognisable faces include Paris Hilton, Jen Atkin, Hrush Achemyan and, of course, Chrissy Teigen.

Many are assuming that the real reason why Kim had a CBD-themed shower is because she's becoming increasingly nervous about having a fourth child.

Kim previously told E!, "This year, because I am freaking out so much, I just want a zen-like CBD-themed baby shower…This is the massages for all, like just meditation, calm before the storm baby shower."

Kim showed off grand table-scapes complete with massive floral arrangements, plants and oils.

The main focus was on the natural compound from the cannabis plant, CBD, or cannabidiol.

Well, we hope the CBD helped chill the guests, and hosts, out. It sounds like Kim needs it if she's still spending her time shading good ol' Taylor Swift…
