Kate Beckinsale and her husband are the latest celeb couple to split

 Kate Beckinsale  is currently working on her upcoming film Underworld 5 in Prague. Meanwhile  her husband, Len Wiseman has been spending time with a young model back in Los Angeles.  A source close to the couple has apparently told People magazine that the celebrity couple have been separated for several months. 

"They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there," says the source, adding that "there has been no drama." 

"It's just not Kate's style," continued the source. "They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart." 

Len, 42, was spotted heading to The Nice Guy, a celebrity sighting hotspot in Hollywood, on Tuesday night. He was joined by 24-year-old CJ Franco – and the Live Free or Die Hard director was seen notably not wearing his wedding ring. 

This isn't the first time the pair have hit the town together. Speculation began that Kate and Lev had split when the model was spotted with the director in early October.  A second source told People that Wiseman and the model "have a genuine connection based on a friendship." 

The source close to the couple says that a new relationship is not on Beckinsale's mind explaining: "Kate is not dating and only focused on her daughter and work."

Both Kate and Lev have been seen without their wedding bands recently. However, neither have ever addressed any breakup rumors. 

The 42-year old actress and her husband met in 2003 while working on the first Underworld film together, which Lev directed.  They married in 2004. While the pair does not have any children together, Kate has a 16-year-old daughter, Lily, with former partner Michael Sheen.  

The source added that Lev’s focus in the matter of their break is his stepdaughter:

“[Lev’s] primary concern in all of this is Lily. He loves his stepdaughter and is there for her."
