Day to night: Can my deodorant handle the stress?
With a few busy days of work (and play) ahead, I knew I'd be at risk of turning into a Sweaty Betty at exactly the wrong time, so this week seemed like the perfect time to put a new deodorant to the test.
Sure Maximum Protection promises "continuous all day protection" from odour and wetness, and to make things really foolproof, you're recommended to apply it the night before for best results.

So, did it do the trick? Here's how it went…
8am
I'm halfway to work before I even remember deodorant, so it's lucky I did apply it the night before. Running five minutes late as usual, so I get to give Sure Maximum Protection its first test by legging it from my house to the Luas stop at full pelt.

9am
There's a particularly busy day of work ahead with a heap of deadlines and not one but two meetings. I'm already getting stressed just thinking about it.

2pm
At this stage I'd usually have reapplied my deodorant at least once, but today I don't feel the need. Happy out.
6pm
Now for the real test… kettlebell class at the gym. I'm tempted to reapply deodorant beforehand but considering Sure Maximum Protection is meant to last "even after a shower" I decide not to. Let's see how this goes…

7pm
Definitely feeling drier than usual, and I don't notice any of the irritation I've had with long-lasting deodorants in the past. If only Sure could do something about my bright red face and streaky mascara…
9pm
After a shower and quick change I'm off out to meet the girls for a cheeky drink. It's been a long day and this bar is jam-packed, but my armpits feel (and smell) surprisingly fresh. I'll cheers to that.

11pm
Bedtime! I apply Sure Maximum Protection again before going to bed – wonder how it'll fare with tomorrow's spinning class…
